I’m not sure if it was designed for unisex, but if it was, it leans heavily masculine. The aquatic notes, lavender, and woods remind me of the shaving lotion my boyfriend uses. I can’t detect the rose or jasmine. I don’t like it; it’s too clean, fitting the name (water), but it has zero femininity.
I tried it at the perfumerie and absolutely loved it, but the price is way out of my budget. It’s super fresh and reminds me of the Halloween Drop.
The bottle is impressive and eye-catching; the perfume is very fresh and clean, making you feel fresh. Ideal for all day; when I wear it and go out, everyone asks for the name. Exquisite and well-blended floral and citrus notes. One of my favorites for all day; I recommend it 100%.
The price in Mexico is very accessible; it reminds me a lot of Light Blue, but honestly, I stick with Tous at half the price. I think it’s unisex as they say, though it leans more feminine; it’s ideal in the heat.
Very good, woody with decent trail and longevity.
I love H2O; it’s my favorite from Tous, perfect for spring and summer. Its floral and aquatic notes leave a nice trail. I’m looking for it, but they say it’s discontinued, what a shame.
I don’t know what happened; I bought it because it smelled incredible the first time. Now it smells like cilantro and alcohol. I don’t get it, what a frustration!
I agree, it smells too rough to be feminine. Very harsh and not delicate at all; too woody. It could work as unisex, maybe very soft for guys or for winter. Ideal for hot climates, to refresh and feel scented without being overwhelming.
H2O is a very unisex fragrance, I agree with the previous reviews. It’s very refreshing; I only detect citrus, that clean and unmistakable lavender, and woods. I like the perfume, but I don’t consider it feminine, elegant, or subtle. To me, it’s very informal and sporty. I never bought it because it seemed too masculine, even more so than many perfumes made for that gender. Although I sometimes let myself be carried away by a men’s perfume, H2O is outrageously masculine for me. I insist: it’s a pleasant fragrance, but I can’t see myself using it.
H2O is very unisex, as they say. Very refreshing; I only smell citrus, clean lavender, and woods. I like it, but I don’t see it as feminine, elegant, or subtle; to me, it’s informal and sporty. I’ve never bought it because it felt too masculine for me, more so than many men’s perfumes. Sometimes I wear men’s scents, but H2O is ridiculously masculine for me. It’s pleasant, but I can’t see myself wearing it.
I’d wear it for everything; it’s exactly what I’m looking for: aquatic and citrusy. I love unisex scents; I know it’s not for everyone, but people always compliment it on me. It lasts all day; I detect lemon, jasmine, and amber, and I don’t notice the other notes. They’ve already discontinued it; the closest thing I found is Natura’s Lotus Flower Water and Adolfo Domínguez’s Bamboo Water.
H2O by Tous (2009) is a very light fragrance, nothing intrusive, quite unisex. It reminds me a lot of D&G’s Light Blue, with that soft citrus opening and a base of cedar and white amber (ambroxan). For those who love perfumery chemistry over marketing, I’ll say I detect a synthetic cedar (cedrol). Don’t misinterpret my take: not everything is natural; there’s a lot of marketing. A classic example is Cartier’s Déclaration, where you can truly appreciate a top-tier natural cedar.
H2O by Tous (2009): a super light, non-intrusive fragrance. Very unisex; it reminds me a lot of D&G’s Light Blue, with a soft citrus top and a base of cedar and white amber. For those who appreciate real chemistry over marketing: I smell synthetic cedar (cedrol), don’t get offended—not everything is natural; the marketing is strong. A real example is Cartier’s Déclaration, which smells like genuine natural cedar.
A pure citrus scent, almost masculine, but works great as unisex for younger folks on hot days. Nothing groundbreaking, but they’ve already discontinued it.
