A marvel for hot and humid days. Where I live, summers are very heavy, and on the worst days, this is the only perfume I can stand and that lifts my spirits. The combination of citrus and mint gives me life, clears my head, and makes me feel good, fresh, and relaxed. I don’t think it’s as ephemeral as others comment; the green tea lasts quite a bit. Although I can’t distinguish all the notes, I feel it’s very herbal, and that herbal base along with musk and amber sticks to the skin, noticeable even after several hours. It’s worth a lot, it’s economical, and it doesn’t smell bad to reapply. A wellness shower!
I used this fragrance a long time ago and considered it essential after a shower, especially in summer. A very pleasant fresh aroma with green, citrus, and musky nuances. I bought it again last week, and despite keeping its DNA, it’s not the same. I’m sure it’s not the same scent I knew 10 years ago; I find it sweeter and lighter. I’ll try to find an alternative to that aroma that now only lives in my memory.
The most beautiful wardrobe tea. Sparkling at first, then softening, it generates joy just by smelling it. It’s a very ‘glittering’ green light, magical, light, and refreshing. Of a subtle delicacy, rich and precious, which is appreciated at any moment; it’s like a spring iced tea to feel freshness, simplicity, and calm. Slathering on this brand’s moisturizer cream is a treat with its rich green tea scent, applicable generously thanks to its accessible prices. Another added value. Thank you Elizabeth Arden for such a masterpiece (by Kurkdjian).
I tried this fragrance and immediately thought of the 90s; I sensed it in colognes from kids of that era. I get a lemon caramel scent, though it’s not sweet, it’s citrusy, sparkling, fresh, and casual. It’s simple and inoffensive but gives you an energy boost that refreshes. I see it as perfect for summer; although I’m not a citrus person, every time I smell it on my mother, I feel full of energy and good humor.
It’s the fragrance I use after a shower or when I want to go to bed with optimism. Very fresh, the spicy lemony green tea puts me in a good mood. Of all the Green Teas, this is my favorite. Its price is very low, so it’s worth having.
What magic has Kurkdjian done that the years pass and its spark remains intact? It conquers hearts with its fresh green vibe; I don’t know why, but Green Tea reminds me of the drink 7 Up, a delight for those who love citrus. Light and harmonious, it’s like a symphony of summer scents that brings joy. Its only sin is a lack of persistence, blessed are those lucky enough to have it last on their skin. Still, it has my absolute devotion.
I loved it!! I bought it for the hype and yes, it’s very delicious. It opens with a citrusy lemon note, then settles into green tea with a musky mint and a subtle sweet touch. Very herbal, in fact, it reminds me of herbal shampoos (like Herbal Essence); it smells clean, ideal for daily wear and summer. You can get it at a very affordable price, good longevity, and I feel it all the time on my skin and hair. If you like herbal shampoo scents, this is for you.
After months of consideration, I see its flaws more clearly now. Mainly, it doesn’t dry down well; it lingers as a very boring, plasticized amber-vanilla. Ideally, as the intensity fades, it should maintain freshness, but when the citrus leaves, it changes radically. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful iridescent mandarin, but compared to CK One, which maintains a fresh floral dry-down, Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea loses out.
A classic created by master F.K. Tremendous fragrance that evokes summer. The longevity and sillage are marvelous; it lasts all day on skin and clothes until washed. Refreshing and a must-have in my collection.
I fear I’m going against the grain here, but I didn’t like this fragrance. I almost bought it blindly based on reviews, but after testing it in-store, my goodness, sorry to those who love it, it’s terrifying. It smells like lemon tea, those homemade remedies (like Vick’s VapoRub for colds), a mix of tea, lemon, and honey.
I love this perfume; it’s refreshing to me, pity that it doesn’t last long.
My great-grandmother’s perfume. When I was a child, we’d go to her house for tea, almost a ritual with pastries and filtered tea; they never used tea bags, they used Pravia Hay for both cologne and soap, so her house smelled like a mix of tea and citrus aromas, just like Green Tea. Smelling it transports me back to my childhood and her hugs, which is why I’m indignant when someone dismissively calls it ‘grandma’s smell.’ Beautiful, fresh, and very wearable. All-rounder. It will be part of my collection, hoping it never gets discontinued.
I loved it—perfect for summer, super fresh and green. But it doesn’t last at all. That’s why I’m hesitant to buy it again. I’m still looking for something in this style that lasts longer.
Unique fragrance; I bought it out of nostalgia because it reminds me of my grandmother. For me, the standout notes are green tea and mint.
I enjoy this scent more on others than on myself. The opening is fresh, almost therapeutic, with notes uncommon in perfumery, but it sticks to the wearer without much evolution. The notes stay the same from the first spray until it dries down, and since it has a light trail, it’s softer on others. Mint, orange peel dropped on the floor, white flowers, green tea… A compact aroma I notice in many people, especially on sunny days. Perfect for gifting. 5/10.
One of the first ones I reach for since March started; the most wearable for the heat. In my country, RD, we only have two seasons: summer and inferno, so I could wear this almost year-round. Fresh, comforting, wearable, and very affordable. More than 8 hours on my skin, moderate trail, and inoffensive. It doesn’t bother anyone at the office and has that perfect unisex touch.
Hi everyone. Green Tea is one of my all-time favorites. Herbal and fresh, without that musty smell many fresh perfumes leave on the skin. It stays stable from the start. It’s true it doesn’t last long, but if I reapply, the problem is solved. Current, fresh, comforting, and delicate aroma. I’ll keep buying it forever.
I love it when my wife wears it; smells like green tea, super refreshing and very summery. The downside is the trail is short and it doesn’t last long, but if it’s a good price, it’s worth it.
Smells like summer sunlight spilling over grandma’s plants—pristine green, maternal tenderness, and the freshness of a quiet spring nap. It invites you to relax until you feel therapeutic; life feels light and sweet, as if you could hear cicadas buzzing in the background while the sun gilds flowers through the window. Meadow calm and spring stream sounds.
Very cool, but it fades away as soon as you put it on.
My mom suffers from vertigo, and strong scents make her symptoms worse. She’s always loved citrus and woody notes and used to steal my dad’s perfumes (Kenzo, Fahrenheit, etc.). Given her condition, I was looking for something pleasant but not overpowering, fresh but not heavy, noticeable but not suffocating. This seems perfect; I let her try it, and she loved it… and so did I. I think besides buying one for her, I’ll keep one for myself. It’s delicious!
I smelled it after a trip and was instantly hooked. It reminded me of the herbal freshness of Seville’s streets mixed with the citrusy, green breeze of orange trees. It’s incredibly fresh, light, and therapeutic; every time I wear it, I feel at peace. I also use it to balance out other sweet perfumes that can overwhelm me. I use it constantly, and it lasts on clothes from morning until night, though by the end of the day, I only notice it on my skin. Definitely one of my favorites for any time of day, especially for relaxing at home.
Excellent scent, terrible fixative. Since it barely lasts on the skin, maybe it’s better suited for clothing.
Maybe the most beautiful perfume I’ve ever owned. Simple, unique (especially when worn out), and versatile enough for work or a wedding. If you love herbal, citrus, and fresh scents, this is a winner. Though marketed as feminine, it’s super unisex and smells delicious on men. Its only flaw is that it doesn’t last long, but I still love it so much.
Cheap and dirty, you get what you pay for. No sillage, no longevity, I don’t get why it’s still around. Someone gave it to me who also has a cheap taste, but they got my herbal, green, and fresh vibe right. The note list is impressive, but I only detect green tea and a hint of sweetness; it’s very linear. It was a great starting point to realize I like tea. Now I use Jo Malone’s Earl Grey & Cucumber, a pricier option with actual credentials, which was the logical next step in my exploration.
I agree with Morning Dew; it’s an almost therapeutic scent. Calming, relaxing, and comforting. It’s like a breath after holding your breath underwater or after an exhausting day. You feel transported to an Eastern garden or forest, with a ray of sunlight filtering through the trees and pure peace. It’s clean, fresh, green, and soft, rarely warm. It could come across as soapy. The orange peel really stands out. I sprayed it several times before heading to college, and a classmate said she’d stay close because it smells so good. At the same time, it gives off a baby-like vibe.
Fresh notes, perfect for hot weather. Smells like green tea with a hint of wet grass and a touch of sweetness. Too bad it doesn’t last more than five minutes on my skin. On clothes, it depends on the fabric—on cotton, it can last a few hours, but with a very soft sillage; I have to smell the garment directly to notice it.
The scent is incredible—citrusy and herbal, neither too strong nor synthetic, like lemon tea. But beware: it doesn’t last on the skin at all. Despite being cheap, it’s gone in under an hour. It’s a shame because it’s hard to find another citrus like this, but I won’t be buying it again due to its poor longevity.
This version is better than the lavender one; there’s plenty of variety out there, but that one just didn’t work for me. I recommend this one. If green tea isn’t your thing, you might like the mimosa or yuzu instead.
Green tea is my favorite note. I bought this back in the 2000s and haven’t run out since, having refilled the bottle many times. I’ll admit the early versions had better projection and longevity than today’s, but for the price and versatility, it’s still worth it. It’s refreshing, herbal, and unisex—perfect for heat, outdoors, or to smell clean at the office. With Moschino’s Funny, I found a more intense and sweet version that pairs perfectly for layering.
It’s a beauty when dry, but on my skin it becomes heavy and the herbal note gives me headaches and nausea. I never smelled the mint, the tea occasionally, and the citrus lasts only minutes. It’s a shame because I liked the scent, but we’re not compatible. I gave it to my mom and it suited her perfectly; I think it was made for her.
I was looking for something very fresh and unisex, because aquatic scents aren’t for me. I wanted something delicate and light, and Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea is exactly that. Light, tender, and genderless. The opening is citrusy but very subtle, the heart is floral with white flowers, and the base is entirely green. You need a very keen nose to notice all the notes, but for me, it just smells like tea—fresh, summery, and relaxing. Buy it, you won’t regret it.
It smells pretty good and gives a lot of peace and relaxation. I usually pair it with the cream from the same range, but the longevity is short on my skin, so you need to reapply. It’s perfect for sleeping in or for summer to feel fresh.
It used to be a charm… years ago… now Victoria’s Secret mists last longer than this Eau de Parfum… what a shame.
I admit it has its point: it’s citrusy and refreshing, but at first, I was put off by the thought that it smells like citrus floor cleaner. However, once I bought it, I absolutely loved it. I use it until it runs out and I never get tired of it. It’s a scent hard to dislike, so you can buy it blind without fear. Plus, the cream from the same line is on another level—I love it, you have to try it.
I like it, but oh no, it’s trying to kill me. I don’t know what citrus does to me; as soon as I put it on, my throat starts itching and I’m like, ‘aaah, help, I’m suffocating.’
It’s absolutely delicious, smells like grass and tea, and it’s fresh. But, BUT, it lasts for nothing on me. Just while I’m applying it. The scent on my skin is almost imperceptible.
For green tea lovers, this fragrance is so delicious that despite its terrible longevity, it’s worth it for the price. It smells of green tea, bergamot, and white musk; if you pay attention, you detect an earthy, fresh moss like wet soil. I also sense a hint of ginger even though it’s not listed. Don’t expect evolution; just enjoy its clean scent while it lasts. I love Elizabeth Arden: they’re good and affordable, but be prepared to carry the bottle and reapply every two hours. It lasts like a body mist, vanishes quickly, and you only notice it by pressing your nose to your clothes; on skin, nothing. 1. Perfect for hot days, comfortable and minimalist (only you can smell it, ideal for transport, hospitals, or funerals). 2. For the price, you can replicate it without mercy. 3. 100% unisex. 4. A safe option for the gym. 5. If you know Yves Rocher’s Thé Vert, let’s say this is a less green but richer dupe.
I’m a huge fan of herbal and green scents and had never tried Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea before. The opening has a naturally citric acidity—nothing like sweet lemon; the mint adds a refreshing touch, like a mint lemonade. The floral heart is soft and slightly earthy due to the moss, keeping it clean. Toward the end, subtle spices emerge, evoking a delicate, comforting green chai.
It’s a lighter, more feminine take on MFK’s Aqua Media Cologne. Smells clean, green, and summery—very pleasant. But it fades in a heartbeat and stays trapped in your personal bubble. I bought it with the matching body cream, which smells different. As a guy, I’d recommend sticking with Aqua Media, though it costs 15 times as much (no exaggeration). P.S.: They’re by the same perfumer; it looks like he revived the original formula.
