Descripción
LoveMe The Emerald Elixir by Tous is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2023, this olfactory composition was created by Dominique Ropion. Upon release, the fragrance unfolds a vibrant freshness thanks to pear, sweet orange, and bergamot. The heart reveals a delicate floral bouquet with jasmine, honeysuckle, and violet, while the base settles on a warm and enveloping accord of patchouli, vanilla, and musk.

The first spray is a patchouli monster 🧟🌿👊🏿. I don’t appreciate the other notes. I can’t stand patchouli; I only tolerate it if it’s well-hidden. Even for patchouli lovers, the accompanying notes are very basic, nothing surprising or standout.
The first spray is a patchouli monster 🧟🌿👊🏿. The other notes don’t convince me. I can’t stand patchouli, I only tolerate it if it’s well-hidden. Anyway, even if it’s for patchouli lovers, the accompanying notes are very basic, nothing surprising or standout.
I’m sorry, it’s abysmally different from Aura by Mugler; it lacks that rhubarb that makes the fragrance unique. I see it as similar to Vie Est Bella but toned down, more wearable, like an EDT or Eau Fraîche. If you adore Vie Est Bella but suffer in the heat or in areas where you can’t smell strong, this is your option.
The eighth version of the pear trend. That fruity tone blends cheerfully with flowers, giving the fashionable scent: a balanced fruity-floral combination, luminous and slightly rich (rich enough to eat), evoking gummy syrups. It’s pleasant and pretty, but lacks its own identity. It’s a decent perfume playing with current trends. Nothing more, nothing less. Another fashionable pear brandy next to My Way, L’Interdit, Paradoxe, and Aura by Mugler.
Very acidic grapefruit and orange opening, but the intensity drops after an hour, leaving a sweet, citrusy skin scent with vanilla and patchouli that don’t bother me. Updated 16-02-2024: it shines in fall and winter. Lasts 8+ hours on skin and clothes. It’s like if Vida Es Bella had less sugar and patchouli. On my skin, it’s a hit; I thought I wouldn’t get compliments, but at 5 hours someone told me I smelled great. I changed my mind and I’m glad I bought it without testing it first.
To be clear: it’s a blatant copy of Decadence. It reminds me too much, but this feels like an EDT version—softer and a bit more vanilla. The rest is identical, though the opening resembles Tous Vert. I didn’t smell patchouli at first and I fell in love. It seems to have good innovation; even the gift box is beautiful. A mature, strong, and potent perfume. I want it.
It’s Pure XS for her without the popcorn. Sweet caramel, not salty. They share vanilla, coconut, orange blossom, musk, jasmine, patchouli, sandalwood, amber, rose, tonka, caramel, praline, almond, and pear. Delicious for winter nights. The bottle is gorgeous for my collection. Adorable Christmas gift.
I’ll be clear: it’s a blatant copy of Decadence. It reminds me of it too much, except this would be like an EDT version—softer and a bit more vanilla. The rest is the same, but Tous’ green has an opening similar to Black Bear. Haven’t smelled patchouli in a while and this one won me over. Seems like they had good innovation; even the box is beautiful. Anyway, a mature, strong, and potent perfume. I want it.
Strong, acidic tangerine and orange opening, but within an hour it settles into a sweet citrus on the skin, leaving vanilla and patchouli without being bothersome. Edit 16-02-2024: it shines in autumn and winter. I liked it, lasts 8+ hours on skin and clothes. It’s like they toned down the sweetness of Vie Est Bella. It works better on my skin; I thought I wouldn’t get compliments, but after 5 hours someone told me I smelled great. Changed my mind after smelling it, glad I bought it without testing first.
Strong, citrusy opening with grapefruit; reminds me of LoveMe The Onyx. But it’s an illusion; nothing like a perfume with character. It’s pleasant, yes, but smells like pear and white flowers like so many others, adding nothing new. Pros: good performance and low price compared to Lancôme or Prada. Ideal if you’re looking for something like this for less.
What a sin comparing Aura by Mugler to this. Yes, it sounds intense, but it’s not bad; my sister and mom love it. Hey, the notes have nothing to do with it. Are you guys just comparing them because of the color and bottle? People like that make Fragrantica unreliable. 😾
A scent with presence, an intense, sweet, mysterious, and elegant opening. Then white flowers wrapped in vanilla, though I don’t detect the musky or fresh facets. In the dry down, it turns serious with a delicate, sweet patchouli. I’m sorry it doesn’t last long; I’ll wear it for a week and then switch to Mancera to see if it improves. Would I buy it again? Yes.
I absolutely love this scent: it’s sweet but not overwhelming, perfect for migraine days. Reminds me of Scandal à Paris. 🤩
Tried this today and it confirms the ‘light eyes’ theory: it’s Pure XS without the popcorn. If you wear it and claim you’re wearing the original, nobody will notice the lie.
I love this scent; what I like most is that although it’s sweet, it’s not strong, and these days I’ve been suffering from migraines. It reminds me of Scandal by Paris. 🤩
It’s a scent with presence; its opening is intense, with a sweet, mysterious, and elegant top note. Then, as minutes pass, you feel that bouquet of white flowers wrapped in vanilla, and honestly, I don’t feel the musky and fresh part at all. In the final phase, the perfume becomes serious and a finely delicate, sweet patchouli comes to the forefront. Unfortunately, I feel the scent isn’t lasting long; I’ll use it for a week and then switch to Mancera, hoping its longevity evolves and improves. Would I buy it again: Yes.
I don’t like it, too intense and sharp… Sweet orange? Sour orange! Exaggerated patchouli and it’s not accompanied by balsamic/resinous notes but by white flowers approaching something metallic/sterile rather than the beautiful emerald (still a stone, it’s May and symbolizes spring, blooming, healing, and light), less comforting, not like Chanel #19, which is how I imagined it sincerely even if just a tiny bit… Earthy, yellow floral, mossy, with green notes, or with some Ylang, more my joy in a well, is today’s youth dry, barren, unproductive, desolate, devastated, or abandoned? because that’s what this perfume is telling me. Recently, the closest scent I’ve acquired to «LoveMe Emerald» has been Paradoxe, and although it’s not a marvel from the gentleman at least it’s warm and transforms, whereas this green and golden bear is linear, synthetic, mass-produced, and even NPC-like. I perceive it as someone I cross on the street without glory or shame, lacking identity. It could have that spicy point like Twilly and tries to, but it doesn’t succeed. 🕯️ 2.5/10.🍂
I can say that all the perfumes I’ve tried from D. Ropion have been hits on my skin, however, this scent wasn’t for me. There’s something extremely herbal that steals all the attention in the liquid and I just don’t like it. The flowers (jasmine, honeysuckle, and violet) are blurred. It’s perhaps the patchouli combined with the musk that didn’t convince me. I’ve given it several chances without it managing to win me over; I hope you can have a better experience with this perfume. I wanted it to complete my collection of bears, but definitely this was a resounding no.
An original and different perfume!! Super similar to Zara’s Oriental! 👍
The notes listed here are super different from what I perceived in the perfume. I agree with Monty’s review; it felt strong, even annoying to me—not floral, but mossy-green with lots of musk, something for an older lady and not for very warm climates or summer. I only tolerated it when it was almost gone; the scent became more vanilla-like, but it didn’t last long on my skin, about 3 hours, and then it faded away. Now the bottle is very cute, one of those that decorates the vanity; I’ll try my luck with another from the family to see if any of them work. Scent 6/10, Longevity 7/10, Sillage 7/10.
I’d say it’s a dupe of Diesel’s Loverdose. Very rich, special, and I don’t think everyone will like it; it defines a personality. It’s intense, but I love it.
Reading the reviews, you’d expect something boring and meh, but I absolutely loved it. Yes, it’s citrus + white flowers + vanilla + patchouli, but for daily autumn-wear, it’s a top-tier option. I have the large bottle and I’m not regretting it at all 🤷🏼♀️🤣; it lasts forever and projects insanely well. Like all perfumes, it needs to match your vibe. It has an elegant touch and I like it for rotation. A great option for work, the office, or uni when you’re dressed up but without pretension. The price is right, it’s quality, and the bottle is stunning. Perfect for a Christmas gift or a winter birthday 🎁.
I love white floral-vanilla scents, and as expected, I liked this perfume too. It’s an easy-to-wear aroma but feels a bit flat. It’s the kind of fragrance you could find in many non-designer proposals, which is why I was a little disappointed. It’s not bad, but I expected much more. It could work well as a night option for someone who doesn’t usually wear sweet scents. But in my case, I see it more as a daily scent, and this one specifically feels quite generic. Honestly, the most special thing about it is the bottle.😕
I hate patchouli, but this one is 60% patchouli and that’s what stands out the most, what a pity!… Though the bottle is gorgeous.
I’m sorry, is it that I hate patchouli? This carries it at 60%, and it’s the most noticeable part, what a pity!… With such a beautiful bottle.
