I really wanted to like it… however, I found it very ‘spicy,’ I agree with Gioconda, it’s like it has plenty of pepper. Still, I’ll give it another chance; the bottle is beautiful and I want to own it, hehe.
Pleasant but weak. A run-of-the-mill perfume that just smells nice and nothing more. For me, the best metric is the impression you make, and every time I wear this, no one says anything, probably because they don’t even notice it. It’s not worth the price.
Never has it been more true that it’s a matter of skin. It clings to my skin and leaves a trace in the air… people have told me.
Good combination of notes, but it’s a perfume with no sillage (max 2 hours) and no trail; no one notices you’re wearing it. It’s far removed from Gucci’s early creations, which were high quality and innovative. It sells well thanks to marketing, but it’s not good value for the price.
I saw it at the perfume counter and the bottle caught my eye, but when I smelled it, I fell in love: it’s soft, delicate, and sophisticated. It can be sexy but nothing heavy; another one I recommend.
I absolutely love it, but it doesn’t last on me :(, maybe an hour at best. It smells great, a perfect blend of oriental and floral, spiced but without incense, something subtle, interesting, and mysterious. Then it ends sweet like amber, but the good part lasts very little.
Beautiful, but why does it last so little? It’s a shame.
Smells sophisticated, expensive, and elegant, especially in cold weather.
Elegant and sophisticated.
It sounds too masculine to me, even though many see it as feminine; maybe it’s that oriental note that makes it feel that way for me. Still, it’s elegant, warm, with good projection and trail, which is why people remember it.
It highlights the tangerine and peach; I never felt it was sophisticated or elegant. It could be used on a hot afternoon, I suppose, but I can’t find many occasions for it. As for being sexy, it leaves a lot to be desired.
I had high expectations when trying it in the perfumery, but honestly, I was disappointed. At first sniff, I literally felt like someone threw a handful of baby powder in my face. It has a decent trail, but longevity leaves something to be desired, at least on me. It’s not elegant; it’s much more casual and suited for mild to cold seasons. I think the fragrance has nothing to do with the image projected in the ads. It could be a great perfume for someone else, but not for me.
I also detected a bit of baby powder. The pepper didn’t bother me at all. The peach, tangerine, and amber create a subtle, delicate, feminine sweetness that isn’t cloying. On my skin, it felt elegant and sophisticated; I thought it would be more casual, but it wasn’t. It had nothing to do with me; I felt like the perfume was dressing me. We just didn’t click. I gave the sample bottle to my mom, and on her, the scent is wonderful and highlights beautifully. This doesn’t mean it’s only for older women; perfumes are about personalities, not age. On my skin, longevity and projection were very scarce, skin-close, and didn’t last more than 3 hours; even I had trouble finding it. But on my mom, it worked very well. It’s all about pH.
I used it the same year it was released. It’s a peculiar, rarely imitated, elegant, and striking scent, even a bit weird. I felt we had a good connection, but honestly, I have a better relationship with its predecessor, Gucci by Gucci. Still, I recommend it.
I adore this perfume, its sweetness and elegance are 100%. I feel super confident when I wear it, and despite being an EDP, it lasts quite a while. I can already imagine the Parfum version would last forever. Plus, its scent doesn’t bore me, something that happens with other perfumes. 100% recommended for any taste and age.
IT’S RICH BUT I WOULDN’T BUY IT
My girlfriend’s perfume… I love her, and with this scent, I love her even more. I don’t know many women’s perfumes, but Alien by Mugler, Chanel No. 5 New, Organza by Givenchy, Amarige by Givenchy, Grand Amour by Annick Goutal, and this Gucci are by far the best; I love smelling them on an attractive woman. I don’t wear it myself, so I can’t review it, but I know it well. If I had to rate it: scent 10, longevity 9. That said, the trail is medium-low, making it very intimate and skin-close.
Gucci Guilty is a massive hit that I thought would be promising with its lilac and pink pepper notes, which I adore. While many criticize it harshly, I don’t share that view. Honestly, it doesn’t meet many expectations. The lilacs are beautiful and fresh, but the pink pepper is so dominant it drowns out everything else, plus it lasts forever. The fruits are sweet and easy to identify, while the patchouli and amber just soften the mix. Ironically, the fragrance blames itself: they use dehydrated lilacs, a timid pepper, and minimal sweetness that goes unnoticed. It has that baby powder touch people mention, with a retracted pepper and dry sweetness, creating a boring structure with no impact. The bottle is gold, but the concept is modest, almost self-satirical. Unfortunately, it boycotts itself, setting unnecessary limits. It’s a shameless guilt trip without intent. The trail is very faint and longevity is average, almost scarce. It has some good points, but in my opinion, it’s a casual mediocrity with a tiny touch of sophistication.
One of my favorites: elegant, unique, and super sexy. The ultimate scent for seduction.
Nice scent, semi-sweet and pleasant. But it has a huge flaw: it doesn’t last at all! It vanishes, disappears, and evaporates instantly. What a pity because the perfume is lovely and expensive. I can’t say more.
I love it! It lasts all day and projects incredible elegance.
On my skin, it starts very citrusy, then shifts to lilacs in 10 minutes. The pink pepper is barely noticeable; in the background, there’s peach and jasmine. At the half-hour mark, subtle vanilla and more intense pink pepper, perhaps because my fixation is good for that note. Very late on, a faint trail of patchouli. It starts promising, but the longevity is lamentable: at most 2 hours. Compared to Angel or Midnight Poison, which last me over 12 hours, I give it 3/10. Not worth it for the high price.
I like Guilty, though it doesn’t excite me. Citrus opening that fades quickly, leaving an almost imperceptible base. Then comes the peach like a shooting star, followed by powdery lilacs reminiscent of Flower by Kenzo, which over time become more floral with a touch of patchouli, amber, and shy vanilla. It’s soft, feminine, and subtle; sillage and longevity are moderate to soft. Ideal for those seeking delicate flowers.
In one word: Elegance.
Smells very good, fresh, floral, and elegant. But it’s so subtle that you stop smelling it quickly (what a pity). Ideal for daily wear and for every woman.
I find it very sexy and unisex; a man can wear it well too. It opens with lots of pepper and peach, and as it dries, you smell sandalwood. Unfortunately, it lasts a breath—about two hours, so you need to reapply. For the price, there are better options; maybe Guilty Intense performs better.
I ignored Gucci Guilty for years due to negative reviews, but it surprised me. The opening wasn’t my thing, but when the lilacs and pink pepper arrive, it smells elegant and wearable: great for dates or winter daily wear. Key tip: spray sparingly because it’s not fresh, and if you overdo it, the powdery (musky) note becomes annoying. It reminds me of baby powder, but subtler. Curiously, I look vintage, like a 1920s flapper XD. Seriously, the longevity and sillage on me are good; I’m surprised others say it lasts only 3 hours. It’s quality, the lilacs are fine and delicious, but never buy blindly: you must test it. It’s only wearable if you dress up, not for sweatpants.
I wore it today, in October. With knit dresses, it looks perfect. It’s elegant with a defined personality. Ideal for nights, special dates, or parties. Although it has that ‘Chanel touch’.
A pleasant surprise: it smells luxurious and exclusive, matching the packaging perfectly. The only downside is it lasts very little; for the price, it’s not worth it, but if you want to treat yourself, it’s worth trying.
Unforgettable, I picked it from Fragrantica’s oriental family section and it was a total hit: it lasts all day, feels sophisticated, and makes me feel like a boss with a private office. Semi-sweet with powerful softness.
I’m wearing it today in winter, and as mentioned above, it smells like sweet candies. It’s soft and pleasant, though the opening is a bit heavy for me and passes through a very vanilla phase before becoming soft and pleasant. It doesn’t have a great trail or be very impressive, and perhaps its name is ambitious for what it is. Good for winter daily wear. I normally use Coco Mademoiselle, and this ‘talc’ scent seems less organic to me than Chanel’s; besides, although it might seem strange, Mademoiselle feels fresher. Anyway, I liked Gucci’s Guilty and will keep using it to see if I get used to it.
I detect a very marked body cream smell. Simple, nothing special. Smells like body lotion and nothing more.
Seductive and glamorous. I first saw it in a commercial in 2010 with Evan Rachel Wood, whom I admire, and the marketing hooked me; I knew I wanted it. Although it was always on my wishlist, I didn’t dare to buy it; ten years later, I finally decided, and I have no regrets. It’s a subtle and sophisticated EDT, I think it could be unisex, but also quite sensual. I imagine a contemporary, mysterious woman wearing it. Lilac is the predominant note, beautifully balanced. It’s a spicy oriental floral with fruity touches. Ideal for evening wear, especially at elegant events. However, I wish it lasted longer. It maintains low longevity and a soft trail, considering its price. The presentation is superb, looks luxurious, and it is luxurious.
If I had to describe it in three words: elegant, neat, and exquisite. The notes that stand out most are pink pepper, citrus, and patchouli. Excellent projection and longevity; I live in a tropical country, and despite the sweat, the scent lasts. It gives me a lot of confidence and makes you look good at any time and place.
It’s okay, but it doesn’t fascinate me. If you love florals, you might like it. The opening is very strong and hard to distinguish notes, but after 10 minutes, you smell a lot of floral with a fruity touch that adds sweetness; it feels a bit flat, lacking many facets. In the dry-down, I only notice the Amber, which is the only thing I like 😅. Works better in cool seasons, elegant but not casual. Ideal for the office: an elegant woman who isn’t the center of attention, more wearable for daily life. It won’t disappoint, but it won’t impress either; if you’re looking for something original and imposing, this isn’t your pick. Very low projection, medium longevity (4-6h).
I bought a travel size, an excellent option to test without committing to 50 or 100ml. The opening is attractive: pepper and bergamot with flowers, a slightly sweet bouquet; I detect geranium, lilac, and above all, jasmine. After an hour, the dry-down and base take shape: patchouli, musk, and vanilla. A bit elegant or sober; I like it for autumn-winter or evenings. Don’t use it in summer or above 30°C—I tried it, and it was ruined. Subtle presence, low trail, stays close to the skin. Medium longevity, 3-5 hours. Maybe not very memorable; I like it but don’t love it. Scent 8/10, Trail 7/10, Longevity 7/10.
Sophisticated. I’m updating my 2015 review: at 24, I found it too sober; it didn’t match me at all—I was wearing Converse and t-shirts and used lighter scents. Eight years later, the little bottle is back; I swapped it with my mom for another perfume, and the story changed. Now it represents me much better. It’s talcum-powdery, but it no longer smells like baby powder or Kenzo’s ‘Flower’; instead, it’s elegant and sophisticated, for an empowered woman. Pink pepper gives it character, while the vanilla-fruity base adds sweetness so it’s not annoying or smells like ‘old lady’. I made the mistake of wearing it in the heat, and it was a disaster—it became heavy; better suited for cool days to show off its beauty. Longevity is better in this climate. Today, I’m thrilled.
The opening is overwhelming. It improves during the dry-down, but the longevity is extremely poor. To me, it smells very synthetic and nothing special. Just another commercial fragrance. Good only for daily wear.
This perfume is a cliché bottled as scent. It’s for a woman who is no longer young, naive, or immature—the kind who dares to take risks. She wears heels and a briefcase, possibly in red or leopard print, oversized glasses, gold jewelry, and high-quality classic yet sensual clothes. Her second language is luxury and money. Women who know how the world works and how to profit from it. Nothing youthful about this.
I give it 8.5/10 for the men’s version: a blend of nut, wood, and musk. It evolves just like the women’s but is softer, more delicate, and addictive, without any fruity notes. They share a warm base. If it were a color, it’d be off-white or pale pink with a golden halo. The men’s lasts all day, while the women’s fades after 4 hours flat. Why rush to fade so quickly? Reminds me of Kenzo’s ‘Flower’, Al-Rehab’s ‘Red Rose’, or Nina Ricci’s ‘Mademoiselle’ but without the sweetness. Zero sex appeal. It feels maternal and angelic, starting with citrus and pepper before turning into a freshly made blanket—no detergent smell. Not much projection; I use it at home for reading. A scent to enjoy all on your own, perfect for any season. 🕯️ 7.5/10.🔥
