Descripción
Jean Paul Gaultier Divine Elixir is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2025, this creation is signed by perfumer Quentin Bisch. Its olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of sea salt, marine accents, and lemon peel; a heart composed of neroli, ylang-ylang, and sambac jasmine; and a warm, enveloping base of vanilla, tonka bean, meringue, and patchouli.

When is this arriving in Argentina? The notes seem delicious! 🥹
It keeps the line’s identity. It’s true it doesn’t smell as much like rotten eggs as the first one, which I prefer. I expected more from the tonka bean. In my opinion, it’s a flanker where Quentin didn’t really stretch his brain too much. As for clones, the one I like most is Divana by Aire de Sevilla.
Tested today, it smells exactly like the original but correcting the mistakes of the first launch. That is, without that controversial rotten egg note, so it’s better. It delivers on the listed notes, you can smell a lot of salt, tonka bean, and marine notes. A rich perfume that projects clean and fresh. Longevity and trail are good quality as usual with JPGs. For those of us living in Spain, we’re lucky to have Super Dupe which smells exactly the same and meets the same quality: Star Girl by Don Algodón.
Nothing beats the Divine!!!! Nothing is better, it’s perfect. This gives you more of the DNA.
It smells horrible on my skin. I won’t go into details because I can’t remember, but I tested it on skin and it was super annoying until I could take it off. Never.
I see it as a bit irrelevant given the others exist.
It smells terrible on my skin. I won’t go into details because I can’t remember, but I tested it on my skin and it was super unpleasant until I could take it off. Never.
Okay, this is insane. You have to close the stadium. I don’t usually review perfumes after just one try, but I sprayed this on my wrist, washed my hands easily five times, and it’s still there. It’s different from what I normally wear, and I love that. It’s sweet but not cloying. You can really tell the marine and citrus notes; very interesting, elegant without being boring. I’d wear it all year, but only at night (during the day just in winter). Well-balanced. Bank on it. Could this be my first JPG?
Nope, this is crazy. You have to close the stadium. I don’t usually review perfumes after a single try because I like to test them a few times before giving a verdict, BUT I put this on my wrist, washed my hands easily 5 times, and it’s STILL there. It’s a different perfume from what I use and I love that. It’s sweet but not cloying. You can tell the marine and citrus notes, it’s very interesting, elegant without being boring. I tried it from a decant and it feels very similar to Olympea by Rabanne. If you already have Olympea, there’s no point in buying this. On the other hand, this would be a good investment due to its performance: very good projection, sillage, and longevity.
I like it, but it doesn’t charm me as much as the first Divine. The original is fresher and more special; I think they just added vanilla and removed the calypso here, making it slightly sweeter and less fresh. I love vanilla, but personally, this creation doesn’t work for me. I’ve tested it several times to decide if it’s worth it, but I think in the end, no, I’m sticking with the original.

I’m a huge fan of the other Divines and was excited about this launch, but for some reason I can’t explain on my skin, it smells like rotten eggs very strongly, plus the neroli which I don’t like anymore. Luckily, after a few hours it normalizes and becomes just a more intense Divine, but I had way too many hours of that egg smell before it passed. That said, if it works well on your skin, I guarantee it lasts forever and won’t wash off even if you try.
I tested it on blotter paper in a store; at first, I felt the same scent as the EDP, but after it dried, it smelled very similar to Lattafa Her Confession, a white floral, sweet, and soft scent. I want to try it on skin to see the differences.
Love at first sight, definitely the king of the three. The salty note is very contained and the sweetness dominates, which I absolutely love. While the other two are also my favorites, I’m sticking with Elixir for sure.
I’m a fan of the other Divines, so I was really excited about this launch, but unfortunately, for some reason I don’t understand, it leaves a very strong rotten egg smell on my skin, plus the neroli (which I already dislike). Fortunately, after a few hours it normalizes and becomes just a more intense Divine, but I had too many hours smelling the rotten egg before it passed. That said, if it smells good on your skin, I guarantee it lasts a long time and won’t go away even if you try to wash it off.
On my skin, it smells terrible; that sweet scent abruptly cuts off with that note that smells like a dirty, mossy pool or algae in stagnant water to me. I won’t say more to avoid hurting anyone, but on the plus side: impressive longevity, it lasts until the next day easily… 24 hours (and more).
It smells like rotten egg with a weird sweetness. Maybe it’s the salt mixed with ylang.
It’s a hypnotic fragrance, has a hint of coconut on me, and it’s very particular for my taste. It has significant longevity and its trail doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve received many compliments…
Exquisite fragrance. I knew the classic version and hated it, so I bought Divine Elixir without testing it, relying only on reviews and notes. I must say, I’m not regretting it. The moment I sprayed it once, my whole house was filled with the scent. The opening is fresh, the heart on my skin feels intense and sweet, but the dry down is a dream. I’m in summer and will wear it at night because it feels very sexy and nocturnal. It has incredible longevity and sillage. Everyone who smelled it loved it. The rotten egg or spoiled smell must be because people wear it without showering. I was scared based on reviews, but nothing like that. Beautiful!

I didn’t like it at all; I can’t evaluate it because I tried it and left it.
It’s an exquisite fragrance. Unlike Divine Le Parfum Intense, this lasts less and has a smaller sillage.
Good, good. It’s literally the most complex perfume I own and it’s driving me crazy. At first, I thought I didn’t like it because of that weird sweetness. It smells intensely of sea and salt, which seemed strange mixed with vanilla (I don’t detect vanilla on my skin), but it made me wonder what the hell it smelled like and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. One spray, then another later… what does it smell like? I got obsessed. I figured it out: it smells like sunscreen and salt. Literally, it smells like a walk on the beach, and I love it. It’s total summer vibes, and I’ll wear it when I need to look put-together at night. I’d layer it with a vanilla cream; I tried it with a vanilla and coconut one and it worked well, but the coconut overpowers it. I want to try it with Sol de Janeiro to see if the vanilla comes out, but even without it, it smells sweet and salty. And about the egg smell? I think it’s the meringue note, but I haven’t noticed it. Many people confuse it with the other version, which definitely smells like egg.
It’s exquisite. Unlike Divine Le Parfum Intense, this lasts less and has a smaller trail.
Addictive and extremely sensual.
Divine with white florals: I loved it, but the floral part fades quickly, leaving the original divine scent. I wish it lasted the full performance. It’s powerful, projects beast mode, and floods the room with aroma. I recommend it, but if you don’t like the original, you won’t like this one either. P.S.: After 10 hours, I still smell it on my skin; it soaked into the other clothes I wore and even the room smells. It’s a bomb.
