  • 4/29/2018. I haven’t been able to try it yet, but the Natura consulting magazine declares the following notes: top of grapefruit, bergamot, and lemon; heart of rose, jasmine, and lily of the valley; base of cedar, sandalwood, and cumaru (apparently the Brazilian name for a form of tonka bean). They highlight bergamot, jasmine, and cumaru, implying they are predominant over the others. The sample reminds me a lot of the aroma of the Ekos Cacao line, which in Argentina only had hand and foot creams. Beautiful aroma. 8/10/2018: It has disappointed me a bit… It doesn’t last almost anything. As it dries, it shifts towards an amber cologne profile, more woody and a bit sweeter, but it’s not what seemed in the magazine. Watch out, it’s lovely, it’s a pretty little scent but it goes in a sigh, and with what the new Frescors are coming out for in Argentina, I don’t think it’s worth it. For me, it would be a good perfume for kids… (this doesn’t happen with the other Natura Frescors, which last a lot. For example, Buriti, Açaí, or Black Pitanga…)

I’ve had this Frescor for a few months. I only use it when it’s cold; in my opinion, its scent is a mix of spices, flowers, and chocolate. Sillage and longevity are quite good despite being a cologne.

I’ve had this Frescor for months. I only use it when it’s cold; its scent is a mix of spices, flowers, and chocolate. The trail and longevity are quite good despite it being a cologne.

  • It’s very similar to Chestnut Frescor. It leaves a minimal layer of oil on the skin. If they mention citrus here, I don’t notice it. It has moderate to low longevity depending on the ambient temperature, but since I got it for a very low price, its volatility doesn’t hurt me much. The Natura Frescors are colognes with modern aromas, nothing to do with the bath colognes used in the 70s in Buenos Aires.

  • It’s very similar to Chestnut Frescor. It leaves a thin layer of oil on the skin. If it has citrus as they say, I don’t notice it. Longevity is moderate to low depending on the temperature, but since I got it very cheap, its volatility doesn’t bother me much. Natura Frescors are modern-scented colognes, nothing like the 70s bathroom colognes in Buenos Aires.

  • Rich, rich, super rich. Fresh and cozy, it smells like a lemon foot to me, but with Peruvian lemon, super acidic, plus the mix of a vanilla candy. Yum.

  • A very fresh fragrance, the tonka bean feels very soft and the vanilla is almost nothing. I’d recommend it as a first layer to set other perfumes with a tonka bean base note. It has moderate longevity. In my opinion, it has a very similar vibe to Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord.

Cumaru and tonka bean, there’s a huge difference because at least the one produced in Brazil does smell like Natura says. This perfume doesn’t have vanilla as mentioned; it’s the Cumaru that reminds me of vanilla, in my case vanilla ice cream, and it’s almost not as sweet as traditional tonka bean. The others are very sweet; this one isn’t sweet either, it’s very floral, almost a clean perfume. Why? Because in many white florals, they give that vibe of being clean, but the floral lasts a few minutes because the very light woods start to be felt and the Cumaru aroma stays standing. Sandalwood, also not sweet. Very good, but mostly floral this perfume. I’d even use it in summer without a problem and it doesn’t bother anyone.

Cumaru and Tonka Bean, the difference is brutal because the Brazilian one smells exactly like Natura, but this one lacks real vanilla; the Cumaru reminds me of vanilla ice cream and is almost clean, not sweet like traditional Tonka Bean. It’s super floral and gives that vibe of just being showered, although the floral fades quickly and then very light woods come out with the firm Cumaru aroma. The sandalwood isn’t sweet either, very good but mostly floral. I’d use it in summer without any issues and it doesn’t bother anyone.

Very tender, cozy, and feminine. The Tonka Bean is noticeable by a mile, a real delight. It reminded me of Mon Guerlain, so I added lavender oil to a decant and it became addictive; excellent for layering with citrus fragrances in summer.

  • I just bought this Frescor and now I understand the comment about it smelling like a lemon foot; honestly, yes. It sounds shocking to compare it to food, but it’s exactly like that. It’s sweet and very fruity, like orange pitanga. Honestly, it’s exquisite. I sensed a vibe similar to Cacharel’s Amor Amor; that was the first thing that came to mind, but less sharp. It’s great for winter. As for longevity, it lasts a lot for me. Update: I had a love/hate relationship with it; despite how good it smelled, I ended up selling it because it left a lingering scent on my nose, too aromatic and it made me dizzy. Just for that. Maybe I was being exaggerated; I could have used it in bed or on clothes, not directly on skin. Try it first: it’s rich but can be dizzying.

Very tender, cozy, and feminine. The tonka bean is noticeable a million times over. It reminded me of Mon Guerlain, so I added lavender oil to a decant and it became addictive. Excellent for layering, for example with citrus fragrances in summer.

Delicious Tonka Bean. I bought this Natura Frescor and was hugely surprised; I thought since it’s an EDT it wouldn’t perform well, WOW! It lasted 12 hours on my skin without any issues. Now that it’s summer, it seems rich and sweet, but I feel like I’ll give it more rugged use starting in autumn. It’s cozy, sweet, even a bit chocolatey; I like to imagine it has some chocolate in it.

  • I just received a sample and it seems like a super clean fragrance. It hasn’t fascinated me but it’s pleasant, with a chocolatey aroma.

  • I love this freshie! I haven’t tried many (only have Açaí, Castanha, and Cumaru), but of those three, Cumaru is my favorite; I find it exquisite. Very sweet, but not heavy or annoying; it’s one of those scents that don’t overwhelm (I have high tolerance for sweets, as long as it’s not in very hot climates, which are my favorites). I also detect something citrusy, sparkling, energizing that makes it more tolerable, fresh—not a pure dessert but a delicate sweet, very interesting… I’m fascinated! Maybe the only downside is that on my skin it doesn’t last super long. It lasts, but I don’t apply it in the morning to smell it at night. For a freshie, it’s very good, but the Açaí one I can smell all day. With Cumaru, it doesn’t work; I have to reapply, which doesn’t bother me because I like it so much. I noticed I remember it very similar to the Cacao freshie, which was my go-to Natura perfume years ago (I always bought it and loved it, but they discontinued it and it made me sad). Now that I’ve discovered Cumaru and my nose senses it similar to Cacao, I’m not leaving it. If anyone is a fan of the Cacao freshie, they’ll probably like Cumaru a lot. Simply put, in my taste, it’s delicious. I recommend it to everyone who likes sweet scents. Update: I now have one more (Burití) and it seems delicious. I loved using it in summer; it’s fresh, I sense a little sweetness, but it’s citrusy and fresh, a scent I’ve never known, different. However, I stick with Cumaru as my preferred aroma among the freshies I’ve tried; I love it, super rich. I think it will become a classic and I’ll enjoy it a lot now that the weather in Argentina is getting cooler (edited in April and we’re starting autumn). I didn’t use it much in summer because, while it doesn’t overwhelm, I prefer fresher aromas, maybe with a tiny touch of floral sweetness, light citrus or fruits, delicate but not so vanilla or chocolatey for summer, which tire me out and sometimes make me feel sick. So for autumn, winter, and cool spring, Cumaru is the perfect fragrance to smell sweet yet delicate and fresh at the same time. It’s beautiful.

  • Sweet, creamy, unisex, rich, comforting, hot, bittersweet, gourmet… A YouTuber said some vanillas feel plastic; I think I understood what they meant, and with this fragrance, don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved it too much. I’m a man and it works perfectly for me; it’s a sweetness that doesn’t cloy. It does remind a bit of caramelized chocolate.

I smelled this fragrance in its original packaging a while ago and thought it was beautiful: chocolatey, warm, earthy. In the end, I didn’t buy it. I don’t know if the mistake was not perceiving it on my skin, or if my pH changed it, or if there was a reformulation. I was about to buy the new presentation and it seemed totally different. With just one application, I felt overwhelmed by the citrus; where did that previous scent go? Almost sharp. The acidity made me dizzy, and I thought it would change later, but no, it stayed that way. It was like orange blossom water. Its trail is good for an EDT (my bad luck), but the longevity didn’t exceed 3 hours. It disappointed me a lot compared to how I remembered it, especially considering the perfumes I like. But if you love amber-style colognes and want something warm for autumn/winter, it would be your ideal option. For me, better to pass this time.

  • Bought it because I was told it was warm and sweet due to a tonka bean-like note, which I like, but I haven’t been able to wear it. I only smell clean, very citrusy at first, then evolves into floral and slightly woody. I don’t smell it sweet or chocolatey like the Kriska Arrasa that I love. I use it in bed because it doesn’t work for me and it doesn’t last. Since I don’t like it, better not to.

It’s too citrusy at first and then becomes very masculine. It doesn’t have a chocolate scent. I ended up using it as an air freshener.

  • charlotinable

I don’t know what’s wrong with big catalog brands: Natura, Mary Kay, Yves Rocher, L’Oréal, Oriflame, Jafra—expensive perfumes with terrible performance. In this case, Natura. It was another birthday gift and I liked it; it smells rich and is charming for warm climates, but what a disappointment for the longevity—it lasts about as long as a fart between your hands. Other products from the brand I’ve used, like shampoos, hair and face creams, or the fabulous hand creams I give my mom, are very good, amazing. But the perfumes have very little to no olfactory value. What a pity; the brand isn’t cheap and relies on being organic and natural from the Amazon. It’s sad to see no creativity or anything new to surprise us; the perfumes come out terrible and soulless. What’s going on?

  • Cherrylicious

Lasts about 6 hours on my skin and smells great. I only smell tonka bean; it reminds me of the cacao and chestnut scents from the same line—they’re similar. All three are delicious and cheap for the amount you get. I’d buy it again because it gives me a very rich, sweet sensation on the skin.

  • teteboeta

Starts fresh and dries down to warm. Lasts about 3 hours on me, but considering the price and that it’s just a freshie, I think it’s fine. What I don’t like about Natura is that they seem to pull their best stuff from the catalog every other month. Ekos Alma, which was a wonder, disappeared; Esencial Mirra, the best in the line, is being sold for the last time this month… and so on.

  • PiñaKawaii

So rich! Starts super citrusy then becomes cozy and warm, with that tonka bean touch giving it a chocolatey vibe. What makes it special is the clean floral heart, especially the lily of the valley. It doesn’t get cloying; it’s very well balanced and, being fresh, many noses tolerate it even if they don’t usually wear sweet perfumes. It’s very similar to Castanha Frescor, but I think the lavender note makes it more aromatic and clean. On my skin, it lasts about 3 hours. It’s a good price, doesn’t hurt to reapply, and works great for cold days; maybe it’s too much for summer.
