What a beautiful perfume! Definitely for romantic, innocent, cheerful, and pretty girls. Right now, it smells very tender; I believe any man who gifts this to a girl will remember it forever.
The scent is very similar to CH by Carolina Herrera, but with red berries instead of citrus. They share common notes: rose, patchouli, and white flowers. The patchouli stands out quite a bit, along with the raspberry, cherry, and a touch of rose.
It’s a pretty, sweet, and cute perfume. You can definitely smell the cherries, patchouli, and rose. It’s not memorable, but it’s pleasant. Personally, I still prefer Because It’s You (2017) over In Love with You (2019).
They find it delicious, youthful, cheerful, and pretty. It’s sensual yet tender. However, it doesn’t stand out among other gourmands of the season; it feels refined but lacks anything unique. It reminds them a lot of LVEB. It’s a solid option.
It’s way too strong; the patchouli note gave us a headache on the first try. It’s just not for us, even though others might love it. We don’t enjoy wearing it, even if it does sit well on the skin.
At first, there’s a bitter touch with prominent red fruits, but over time it turns sweet, warm, and very pleasant. It has excellent fixative power; they showered and it still smelled amazing! They love it!
They find it very strong and sweet, typical winter stuff. At first, it gives them a headache, though it softens with time. You can tell the patchouli and cherries, but they wouldn’t buy it again.
To me, it smells very synthetic, especially at first. Then the fruits fade in intensity and give way to patchouli and absinthe. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but something breaks the harmony; I think it’s the absinthe. I can’t see how it integrates into this fruity setting, it’s like oil and water that don’t mix. It seems to have two scenes that don’t understand each other. On the plus side, the longevity is good. If you like it, it’s worth the investment.
To them, it smells very synthetic, especially at first. Later, the fruits fade and give way to patchouli and absinthe. They feel the absinthe ruins the harmony; it doesn’t blend with the fruity notes, more like oil and water that won’t mix. It feels like two scents that don’t understand each other. On the plus side, longevity is good. If you like it, it’s worth it.
They tried the sample and didn’t like it. The opening is brutal—it smells very artificial and distinctly masculine. Longevity and sillage are top-notch, but it softens over time and becomes more bearable. Still, they’re passing on it because they find it overwhelming and it doesn’t evoke anything for them.
I was given a sample and didn’t like it. The opening is very strong, the aroma a bit artificial and quite masculine. It does have good longevity and projection, though. On the plus side, over time, it evolves into something less intense and more pleasant. Still, I won’t wear it because I find it overwhelming and it doesn’t suggest anything to me.
Very powerful scent at first, but it doesn’t last long. There’s a sweetness point I can’t identify and I don’t like how it settles on my skin. It was a gift, and I’ll use it because I don’t dislike it, though it will be a perfume I won’t buy.
It comes out very intense, caramelized, I assume due to the cherry. Then it settles down and fades until only the strawberry remains, which I notice is much more intense; I’m sure it’s the patchouli that intensifies it and makes it different from its predecessor. The longevity is very good, much better than the previous one. The dry-down on my skin wasn’t great: over the hours, it distorted until it became an earthy patchouli scent. I still prefer the original version.
It’s a perfume that comes out very intense, as if it were caramelized, I assume because of the cherry, then it calms down and drops until only the strawberry remains. Personally, it hits me much more intensely; surely it’s the patchouli that intensifies it and makes it different from its predecessor. Its longevity is very good, much better than the previous version. Its dry down wasn’t great; over time, it distorted until it became an earthy patchouli scent. I still prefer the original version!
The opening is the youthful version of Nuit Trésor, and the dry down is Black Opium. That’s it.
It doesn’t kill me with love, but I think it’s nice and pretty, and I grabbed it on sale, so it came out cheap. It’s a pretty good blind buy, but it’s more of the same sweet gourmands that are already everywhere; at some point, it felt similar to Jessica Simpson’s Fancy, only this one smells more vanilla-like, like marshmallow, and is lighter. This Armani has moderate sillage and lasts about 4 hours. I liked it, but I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again.
I bought it thinking it would be a gourmand like Black Opium, but it’s the exact opposite. The opening is floral and sweet, but once it touches my skin, it turns into a spicy scent, in a bad way. It smells like incense; maybe the absinthe and patchouli played a bad trick on me. I blame my pH. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I’ll keep it just for collection.
I bought it because it was supposedly a gourmand similar to Black Opium, but the truth is the exact opposite. The opening is floral and sweet, but once it touches my skin, it turns very spicy in a bad way. It smells like incense; I think the absinthe and patchouli are playing a bad trick on me. I blame my pH. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I’m keeping it just for the collection.
Dear In Love With You by Emporio Armani, I can’t believe you don’t carry chocolate, praline, or caramel, since that’s the main aroma that stands out on my skin—a brown, caramelized gourmand sweetness. I don’t think you’re similar to La Nuit Trésor, but you’re on the same track. I consider you perfect for cold days because you’re so sweet and spicy, so I think it’s only fair that we meet again when the thermometer drops. It was a pleasure to meet you.
My dear In Love With You by Emporio Armani, I can’t believe you don’t have chocolate, praline, or caramel in there, since that’s the main vibe on my skin: a warm, caramelized brown gourmand sweetness. It’s not quite La Nuit Tresor, but it follows a similar line. I think it’s perfect for cold days because it’s so sweet and spicy. I hope to see you again when the temperature drops. It was a pleasure meeting you.
I agree with those who say it smells gourmand, wow, I think that’s why I liked it so much. At first, the cherry is strong, and as it dries down, the wild berries appear. After two hours, the stars are the raspberry and absinthe, with patchouli adding power; I’m not sure if the jasmine is swallowed by the cherry note or if they share the sweetness.
Edit: I tried it again today with better humor and actually liked it more. It’s super sweet and potent, definitely not for everyone and you shouldn’t buy it blindly, but it has won me over. At first, I didn’t love it and it made me sad because it smelled of patchouli, my least favorite note, just like in Mugler’s Angel. I’ll give it more chances to see if I can get used to it; if not, I’ll have to remove it from my collection 🙁
A scent that doesn’t fascinate me. On my skin, it’s quite caramelized and has an alcohol smell. The good thing is it lasts about 6 hours, which is plenty for me.
Nothing like the original: the patchouli and wood are very noticeable; the concept of love is missing. I don’t understand how they executed the idea, maybe it’s a toxic love, like Beauty and the Beast but more on the beast side. It lacks a youthful aura, smelling spiced and heavy. It’s a strange, discordant flanker, out of tune, as if it got lost on the way. I’m sorry, little perfume, but I don’t recommend it; it’s terrible for me, different but not special.
Nothing to do with the original; the patchouli and wood notes are way too prominent. The concept of love is lost, and it just smells toxic, like Beauty and the Beast but focused entirely on the Beast. No youthful aura here—just spicy and heavy. It’s a strange, off-key flanker, like it got lost on the way. Sorry little perfume, it’s terrible for me. It’s different, but not special.
It was a compulsive purchase during the pandemic. A head-on crash against a wall when I discovered this complex fragrance. Months later, I applied it with anger, and it turned into a disgusting scent. That impulsiveness almost made me faint; the intensity of the top notes gave me a headache of epic proportions. A few hours later, incredibly, it wasn’t just one or two people who came up to praise it. It remains semi-vetted for me, but I learned it must be used with extreme moderation. Those who love these extreme options shouldn’t hesitate to buy it, because the initial shock is worth it to enjoy it later.
It’s a pity the performance on my skin. I bought it because of the excellent reviews calling it a bomb. I love the fruity opening, but it projects for a maximum of 15 minutes at a distance and lasts about two hours on skin at arm’s length. I don’t think it’s reformulated; my batch is from 2020. It’s sad because it’s not cheap. Update: although I haven’t changed my opinion on the performance, I was surprised when people came up to compliment me even though I didn’t feel it. Even though it’s soft, I think it has good projection.
One of my favorites; I use it regularly. At first, it smells of red fruits, then that distinct patchouli comes through, but it doesn’t bother me (even though I’m not a fan). In Love With You lives up to its name: it’s as strong as the feelings for the one you love. The trail is strong to moderate, lasting about 7 hours and up to two days on clothes. It gets even better if you layer it with Into The Night by BBW and their body cream.
One of my favorites; I use it several times. At first, it smells like red fruits, then it leaves that somewhat pronounced patchouli, but it doesn’t bother me (even though I’m not a fan). The first time I smelled it, without even checking the notes, I thought it had coffee and spices because it hit me as alcoholic like Black Opium. I bought it to test it out in detail, and a praline mixed with a liqueur appeared. Seeing the notes surprised me: on my skin, I don’t sense red fruits or flowers, but rather a sweet, potent liqueur. It’s a fragrance for cold weather, for those gray winter days.
The first spray, without even reading the notes, I swore it was coffee and spices, with that energized vibe of Black Opium. When I bought it to test it out fully, a praline with liquor emerged. Finally, I checked the notes and was shocked: on my skin, there are no red fruits or flowers, just a sweet, potent liquor. It’s the perfect fragrance for cold weather, for those gray winter days.
Very similar to La Nuit de l’Homme. Both have excellent longevity and projection.
Very similar to La Nuit de Tresor. Both have excellent longevity and projection.
Could my bottle be damaged? It just smells like Pink Sugar with patchouli, nothing else. It’s a scent without harmony; I don’t understand it at all and I don’t like it even a little bit.
Too much patchouli, red fruits, and an alcoholic base that gave me a terrible headache at first. I didn’t like it at all, especially since it’s from the LVEB and La Nuit de Tresor line, which are more mature scents. I’ve read it has great longevity, but unfortunately, I didn’t have the same luck; after an hour and a half, there were no traces left. I don’t know if my bottle is defective.
Red fruits and alcohol at first. This exquisite perfume transforms on the skin and over time, just like the good ones. Within minutes, a dark caramel note emerges, which I absolutely love. It’s more complex than it appears and has received many compliments.
Red fruits and alcohol at the start. This perfume is exquisite and transforms on the skin over time, just like the good ones. Within minutes, a dark caramel appears, which I love. It’s more complex than it seems and has earned me plenty of compliments.
The only good thing is the longevity, which is incredible. But with my pH, the patchouli intensifies too much and the dry-down smells like a lady’s perfume; you can detect the cherries and raspberries. It’s elegant but definitely smells like a wealthy lady. Maybe a patchouli fanatic would like it more, but for me, it’s a hard no.
Patchouli and wood with an insistence of ripe red fruits and flowers that seem to annoy. It took me out of my comfort zone: alcoholic and dense, with a chocolatey dark phase perfect for cold weather. On skin, it’s a different story—distinct from Because It’s You but carrying the vibe of Olympea Legend. Depending on your skin, it can be an exclusive, intoxicating scent, a possessive love that’s actually interesting.
