Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
It starts sweet with a spicy kick, but the pepper quickly takes over. Then it smells like a country shed: a mix of sweet motor oil, manure on the wheels, and straw. What strange creations these folks at 27_87 come up with. After a few minutes, the sweetness returns, now cut by pepper and ginger sharpness, though the ginger isn’t the strongest note. The pepper rules everything, almost like a middle note that controls the whole thing. Amber is present, and the caramel? Well, it’s not creamy. I don’t detect any rose at all. The dry-down is a sweet, soft scent where the pepper has vanished. It has low projection, but after 8 hours it’s still on my wrist, which is rare, so it lasts well. They say it’s ‘confident and sensual,’ well, if they say so. Maybe it would work on a ‘Farmer Seeking Wife’ date. It’s curious, but I wouldn’t buy it, not even at the price, because I don’t know when to wear it. No way would I go on a romantic date smelling like pepper or sweet manure, nor would I wear it to the office.
