Anti-review review: On me, it’s like sucking an orange candy and getting burned in a freezing pool. Lasting power is spot-on and the sillage isn’t annoying. My partner smells incense and white woods like pine, and it lasts all day. My mom, however, can’t smell it at all—no projection, no longevity. Conclusion: Whatever people say, this is one of those perfumes where trying it is mandatory. I like it.
A sweet, airy, and volatile opening. At first, it reminds me of orange juice with a restrained sweetness. I suppose that’s the incense, but very refreshed—no church-like smell. You can detect the iris, but it’s very soft. Thanks to the aldehydes, everything stays volatile without being cloying. It feels like a young, urban, unisex fragrance. Very current. I think it works all year round. I don’t see it on an executive, but rather in a creative office or for going out. Honestly, it lives up to its name. Longevity and sillage are moderate, leaning towards discreet. ADDENDUM: I wore it to work and it completely changed my perception; mainly, it reminded me of a clean, soft, ethereal wood. I neither liked nor disliked it. It seemed curious, but I struggle to justify the price, and it doesn’t stand out for longevity.
Wow, what an incredible find! I got this fragrance while buying a ‘white shirt’ themed sample box, which basically had four perfumes that smelled clean, with musk and aldehydes. My go-to for that experience was Narciso Rodríguez Pure Musc, which I love, but Hashtag didn’t mean anything to me at the time. I skipped it in the box until it was time to try. On the third day, it was Hashtag’s turn. I sprayed it with no expectations, and what came out was a whirlwind of sensations. It smells like wood and incense burning slowly in a gentle fire, barely smoky. There are beautiful blue-violet flowers, fresh and tender, in the back of the room. It’s the iris and violet leaves timidly dancing with the column of incense smoke. I fell head over heels in love with that first spray!
