  I first encountered this fragrance through the Arabic clone (E.A.U.), Dorall Collection Die For Love, and the clone is quite faithful. Today I have the original, and I swear it has a bit of lavender. It’s the type that ‘smells clean.’ I can’t distinguish all the notes; I see it as a fruity cocktail with lavender, even at the dry-down it reminds me of Perry Ellis Portfolio. During my adolescence, thanks to some surfers at my high school, I discovered that beach world, those brands, parties, and the middle-class, pseudo-rasta, Californian vibe. When I spray it, I think of those beach parties and cocktails with friends. It’s very youthful (under 25).

  I had this perfume when I was 12. The truth is, it’s very good; girls always told me I smelled great. I recommend it for teenagers.

  Excellent fragrance with masculine notes of patchouli, sandalwood, rosemary, and wood—nothing aggressive. They leave a pleasant trail, and as an eau de toilette, it lasts 8-10 hours. The bottle is fantastic and collectible. You won’t believe it, my husband has had this since 2009 and it smells brand new.

  Its scent is rich, gives a clean feeling, and has notes similar to others but from a distance. I liked it quite a bit; on my skin it lasts an hour, but on clothes I notice it suddenly after three hours. For the price, it’s manageable. It’s a good aroma, believe me: I don’t buy perfumes for others to smell and give compliments, but because I like them and enjoy wearing them.

  The scent is absolutely delicious, giving a clean feeling with notes similar to others but from a distance. I really liked it and enjoy wearing it. On my skin, I noticed it fading after a while, but on clothes, I can still smell it strongly even after three hours. For the price, it’s something you can get used to. It’s a really good aroma, believe me. I don’t buy perfumes just for others to smell and compliment me; I buy them because I like them, which is why I enjoy so many scents—this is one of them.

  I’m not sure if they reformulated it, but I remember Hearts and Daggers being intense with good sillage and longevity. I bought it again after 5 years, and oh surprise: it’s totally different now. It doesn’t last, there’s no sillage, and it fades within an hour of application. Papaya dominates, it’s also powdery, but it smells good. Rating: 8/10.

  It’s an affordable fragrance that, if you catch it on sale, you grab it. The downside is it doesn’t last more than three hours. It opens beautifully—fresh and sweet, very 90s style. Years ago I had a clone and fell in love; now that I bought the original, I think they reformulated it. For the price, you can go through 20 sprays, but it barely fights back before fading. What a shame to lose these nostalgic prep school scents. Buy blind, but don’t count on longevity. Batch 2020.

It’s a shame these nostalgic high school scents are disappearing. Buy it blind with confidence, but don’t expect longevity. Batch 2020.

  When I snagged it at the price, I dove straight into the notes: it hooked me. Fresh, easy, and very tasty. The sweet papaya is what hits me the hardest, followed by that martini-like alcoholic touch. As it dries down, the suede and spicy pepper add body, while the sandalwood balances everything at the end. It’s not a brain teaser, but it’s perfect for everyday wear, the gym, or casual outings. The longevity is short, but given the price, you buy more sprays to reapply as much as you like.
