I tested this perfume on my skin and upon smelling it, I couldn’t help but think… it’s a variant of 212. Pleasant scent, marine, fresh, masculine, slightly green with a sweet hint. A good summer bet, but I consider it a bit generic and a scent not different from many summer perfumes. Still, it has a wearable aroma with good trail and longevity.
It’s very similar (if not identical) to Hugo Boss Just Different. It has a secret: this perfume still lingers even after showering, getting wet, or swimming in the sea. If you liked the scent, I recommend Hugo Boss, which is 10 times better, but the secret of this fragrance is noteworthy.
Summer variant of 212, quite similar to each other, available at a great price and they smell pretty good, although they don’t last long on my skin at least. Scent 7/10, versatility 8/10, trail 7/10, longevity 5/10.
Without being remarkable or having a strong memory effect, just with a marine, fresh, clean, and citrus opening, the dry-down of this summer version of 212 (from 2014) pleasantly surprised me. It’s synthetic and nothing I haven’t heard before, but the evolution from top to base is surprising: it goes from marine to a playful, rounded, smoky wood accord that’s clearly addictive, with decent performance for its category. A curious proposal.
I can’t be objective with this review; quality, longevity, and projection are expected for a 212 citrus/marine. It’s a summer EDT. Having said that, I have a very personal connection to it. It transports me to a trip to Brazil where I bought it. To me, it smells like paradise vacations at the beach, exotic and lush sunsets. It smells like vacations, hedonism, and happy, simple times. I hope I can get it again. It was a limited edition and I still treasure the last 10ml of the bottle so that, on special occasions, my limbic system can teleport me to a dreamy past.

In my case, it had one of the worst performances I’ve ever tested… UPDATE: I used it again yesterday and in warm weather it improves a bit; on fabric, as usual, it lasts longer.

Wow, I had no idea this version existed! A hidden gem, exactly what I love about summer. Soft, warm scent with that marine touch that transports you straight to the ocean <3 I love it.
