Divine is the only Victoria’s Secret perfume that ever truly took my heart. Although it might be discontinued, it was a very musky, sweet, floral scent with woody notes, without that vintage vibe; it had a sensual touch. I loved the lotus, sandalwood, rose, hyacinth, and amber, with musk lingering in the background. It was a warm, sweet floral powder scent, not fresh or clearly floral because the sandalwood had so much presence. Beyond that natural, subtle sensuality, it was chic, captivating, and distinctive; no other perfume from that era smelled the same. It was opulent, heavy, and had a certain innocence. Its trail and longevity were intense; in my case, it lasted over 8 hours.

Divine is the only Victoria’s Secret fragrance that truly captivated me. Although I’m not sure if it’s discontinued, it’s a very musky, sweet, floral, and woody scent without that vintage vibe; it had a touch of sensuality. What I loved most were the lotus, sandalwood, rose, hyacinth, and amber, with musk lingering in the background. It was a warm, sweet, floral-woody talc; I didn’t perceive it as fresh or distinctly floral because the sandalwood was so potent. Beyond that natural, subtle sensuality, it was chic, captivating, and quite distinctive—no other perfume from that era smelled the same. It was opulent, heavy, and had an air of innocence. Its trail and longevity were intense; in my case, it lasted over 8 hours.

Divine is the queen of Victoria’s Secret’s Dream Angels line and, for me, the best fragrance the brand has ever made. It’s sexy like everything else in their catalog, but with a sweet, tender touch. It smells clean, with that musky note that leaves you feeling fresh and ready for a special, intimate night. My husband absolutely loves it; in Mexico, people call it ‘cachonda,’ but with a hint of tenderness, just like my friend Chio would say. It works well during the day, though I recommend it mostly for nighttime occasions. It’s such a shame that in Mexico it’s almost impossible to find, not even in the best boutiques in Cancún or Playa del Carmen. I’ve only been able to get it in the U.S., but it’s worth every penny. Today, it’s one of my favorite perfumes, and I haven’t found anything that even comes close—maybe Lady Emblem by Montblanc is somewhat similar, but I’m not sure. In short, it’s a perfume I love and need to replenish regularly.

Divine is the queen of the Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels line and, for me, the best of all their fragrances. It’s sexy like the whole brand, but with a tender touch. It gives a clean, slightly powdery impression, leaving you fresh and ready for a special, intimate night. My husband loves it; as they say in Mexico, it’s ‘hot but with a hint of sweetness,’ according to my friend Chio. It works for daytime, though I recommend it for special evenings. It’s a shame that in Mexico it’s almost impossible to find, not even in Cancún or Playa del Carmen where the best boutiques are. I’ve only been able to buy it in the US, but it’s totally worth it. Today it’s one of my favorite perfumes, and I haven’t found anything that compares; maybe Lady Emblem by Montblanc comes close, but I’m not sure. In short, it’s a perfume I love and need to keep in my rotation.
