I tried it today because I had a sample. It’s a fragrance that smells quite good, quite floral. The bottle is quite elegant, which is why I like it. In the scent, I detect neroli and water lilies, so it stays almost the same for a while, but in the end, woody notes appear. It reminds me of one I’ve heard before but couldn’t recall which one (I think I figured it out, Lady Million Eau My Gold). Yes, I recommend it blindly, and yes, I liked it; I’d gift it without hesitation. Sillage and longevity are moderate to low.

  • I loved the bottle, but as for the fragrance, it seemed very clean to me. I like it for elegant, working women who are office-ladies.

  • I bought it at a duty-free shop after trying several perfumes and, quite dizzy, I decided on this one because it smelled good compared to everything else I tried. However, once I started wearing it, it didn’t fully convince me. It smells good, but it’s too floral for my taste. And it’s missing something… I think it’s too expensive for what it is, and being a Dolce&Gabbana, I expected a bit more. It’s very long-lasting and keeps you with a nice, clean, fresh scent, but it still isn’t one of my favorites.

  • I love it because it smells like my mom. To me, it’s very floral, but on her, it’s super delicious, feminine, and elegant.

  • A perfect perfume for spring, with a delicious and fresh white floral scent. The only downside is that the sillage is very soft; you have to press your nose against the skin to smell it. The longevity on my skin is 3-4 hours, which I think is way too low for the price.

I signed up just to comment. I’ve read your reviews and I disagree about the longevity. I bought it yesterday, sprayed it on my wrist to test it, and after 24 hours, even though I washed it off thoroughly, it still smells. I think many people confuse longevity with perception. It’s normal that after a while you don’t notice it, but that doesn’t mean others can’t smell it (obviously, it varies by skin). As for the scent, I’m not sure if I like it or not; I feel like the notes that come out on me don’t suit me. It smells very musky to me. I guess I’ll end up gifting it so I don’t just keep it as a decoration.

  • I own it, and it’s a very subtle, floral, and fresh fragrance. Today I decided to wear it, and after 8 hours, it’s still going; a very soft scent that lasted on my skin, even though I live in a place with lots of heat and humidity. I love it.

  • In my opinion, it’s more of a guy’s scent than a woman’s. It’s too sweet, with an odd sweetness. It smells nice, but it reminds me of Boss Woman, which is much worse than this.

  • I like it less every day. I haven’t even had it for a month and I already hate it. What a horror. It’s extremely cloying and overly sweet.

  • It’s not bad, but it’s not surprising either. At least for me, it didn’t evoke any positive feelings. I wouldn’t buy it; it also doesn’t last long. The pink version is better, that one actually works.

  • Plus, it has way too much musk. Something I don’t like because it’s not good for your health. I try to wear perfumes without it.

  • VainillaDulce

What a disappointment for Dolce. This fragrance is overdone, so simple and unbalanced that it feels cheap. It borders on bizarre because a brand like this risks launching something so generic, and you can tell just by looking at the bottle. I only detect three notes: bergamot, water lily, and an exaggerated, synthetic musk. I have nothing positive to say; it and I just don’t get along.

  • RenataMISTICA

I think it’s way too expensive, it doesn’t last at all, and there are better options out there. I wouldn’t recommend it; it’s like throwing money in the trash.

  • Floral and harmless, for good girls or delicate women. It gives me the same vibes as Anaïs Anaïs. They don’t look alike but share a style. The sillage is soft, and all that remains is a creamy musk melted into the skin, with a faint hint of white petals. It’s docile, simple, and appropriate, but it lacks the soul that Cacharel truly infused into their sweet florals. Approved, but barely.

  • Pity that on my skin it smells very synthetic, the longevity is poor, and the sillage is soft. It’s identical to Dolce Rosa Excelsa. I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • I love it! Smells like grass, herbs, and lots of green… even though it’s not listed in the notes, that’s exactly what I perceive on my skin, and it lasts forever, considering how fresh it is. Must be pH-dependent. I’m obsessed.

  • A simple fragrance with no complexities. I love it; when I wear it, I feel like I just stepped out of the shower—happier and more relaxed. It’s meant for private enjoyment, not to grab attention.

  • Very subtle, no sillage, and not intense at all. Perfect for everyday wear if you’re looking for a clean, fresh scent.

  • Edu Lezana

D&G tried to capture tradition, Mediterranean character, and the Latin sensuality of the Italian woman in this perfume. Today I’m wearing it thanks to a free sample I got a while ago, and honestly, it reminds me of bamboo stick air fresheners. A soft, synthetic floral room freshener. I don’t smell bergamot; I faintly detect a yellow narcissus scent, but only if I really try to find a flower note. Synthetic musk stands out the whole time. It’s a bland, harmless, and opaque fragrance. It makes no impression or evokes any feelings when worn. Fortunately, its performance is terrible, and the suffering of wearing it lasts only a short while. Also, very expensive. This perfume isn’t worth it.

  • DOLCE by Dolce & Gabbana: a seductive, deliciously feminine fragrance that captivated me. This is my fifth bottle. The brand launched it in early 2014. Dolce represents an emotional and romantic journey through Sicily. It’s described as a soft, feminine floral scent. The freshness of neroli paired with the exquisite papaya flower opens the composition; this top note is sweet on the nose and beautifully introduces the heart, dominated by African white amaryllis (used for the first time in fragrance), narcissus, and white water lily. They provide substance and depth, blending perfectly into a luminous, unique, and dazzling combination—a true delight. The base is soft with cashmere and musk. This fragrance is fascinating; it transports me to a spring garden. It has moderate sillage, lasting 8 hours on skin and days on clothes. It’s ideal for warm weather: light, fresh, and offering luminous notes that stay until late afternoon. It’s versatile, perfect for everyday wear, but I also take it to outdoor weddings where it’s always a hit. A classic yet original floral fragrance, perfect for spring and summer, a mix with personality, very feminine and not generic. On the contrary, within its softness and romance, it’s bold and elegant. The bottle is lovely and beautiful, one of D&G’s best.

  • I don’t get all the ‘I hate it’ reviews. It’s a fresh, floral scent that suits everyone. I like it. The bottle is pricey, but if it were cheaper, I’d buy it because I know it doesn’t last long, so I’d just use more of it and finish it faster. But that doesn’t mean I dislike it.

  • It’s a pity it lasts so little on the skin because it smells great. If it weren’t so expensive, it would be worth using daily for work, without any extra pretensions. It’s fresh, soft, and pleasant, but it’s just not worth the price.

  • It’s a very well-balanced floral-fruity scent. It smells delicious the moment you put it on or even just sniff the bottle. However, I’ve never had a perfume with such poor longevity on my skin; I can’t even smell it after half an hour. All my friends who own it experience the same thing—it fades and disappears within 30 minutes. I don’t understand how Dolce & Gabbana launched something with so much marketing and a high price tag given its lack of staying power. I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • Another beautiful, fresh, and feminine fragrance ideal for hot seasons where you don’t crave something so intense, but it adds elegance. People criticize it for longevity and sillage, but personally I’m thrilled: on my skin it lasts a very good 8 hours, sometimes up to 10, with a nice trail—not overpowering, but very well perceived when I pass by. You have to test it on skin because pH is what makes it click.

  • I gifted it to my mother and ended up using it myself. It’s fresh and clean with good longevity, but I didn’t repurchase; maybe I’ll buy it again next autumn. It’s curious because I see people wearing it more in summer/spring, but for me, it’s very autumnal.

  • Just bought this blind buy while pregnant and it was on a hot 50% sale. It’s a fragrance that says nothing. It’s quite floral and smells very much like floor cleaners in Argentina, almost identical to Poett, which really disappointed me. It’s a light, generic French scent found in any imitation. In my country, Argentina, everything carries this perfume: supermarket creams, cleaners, tonics, makeup… A real pity.

  • I have a miniature of this perfume, but I wouldn’t buy the full size. No matter how much I overapply, it doesn’t last or cling; it fades easily. Although it’s a lovely, fresh, floral scent, it makes no difference or stands out. It doesn’t evoke emotion, but if it were a pretty fragrance that actually lingered and lasted moderately, I might buy it.

  • In my opinion, it’s a soft, delicious fragrance with a floral scent and delicate. Its longevity is low for the price it commands. However, I would buy it again if I find it on sale.

  • It was my perfume for a while, the budget version of Fraiche XD. I saw it in an ad, and since my budget didn’t stretch to the original, I went for the ‘trending’ variant. I loved it: sweet, pretty, and nothing more was needed. Two years later, once I had a bit more money, I bought the original. It’s expensive, sure, but worth it. Then I realized the cheap versions were nothing compared to the real deal. That’s how my journey into the world of perfumes began. Just wearing it made me feel good, but the scent added the extra touch. To this day, I still love it, even if it doesn’t evoke the same feelings anymore. I understand that as I discovered other strong, somewhat extravagant, and vintage scents, I found myself. Dolce is a youthful fragrance I no longer identify with, though I still have a soft spot for it. One thing that can’t be overstated is that IT LASTS FOREVER. It’s subtle, yes, fresh, floral—not shy, but as if it prefers to go unnoticed. I love it for the nostalgia, but I wouldn’t buy it again; it’s too pricey for its trail and longevity, and it fades too quickly. If the price dropped, I’d definitely reconsider, even though I haven’t finished half the bottle. At first, I didn’t want to use it up so fast, but then I fell for other scents, and this one faded into the background…

  • I find Dolce to be a very charming perfume, far from those scandalous fragrances that abound today (BonBon, LVEB, BR540, etc.), yet it’s an essential part of its charm. In my experience, it lasts over 15 hours (though I must warn that I have the enviable trait of making perfumes last forever). Setting that aside, the important thing is that Dolce is fresh, ideal for use after a morning shower. I sense a spirit of Italian romance and its coasts: you find yourself on Lake Como or a Greek island, your summer vacation with friends, white and relaxed outfits, ethereal. You go there for love, to enjoy and relax, not for scandalous parties, but to meet people you enjoy spending time with and sharing intimate conversations. This perfume is what you smell in that experience with friends and perfectly known strangers; you wear it from the moment you leave the hotel, go shopping in luxury and local boutiques, visit ruins, enjoy culture, and at night, greet new people with a kiss on the cheek at an intimate party on a terrace or beach, enjoying the night breeze. These strangers sense your perfume and feel as if they’re hugging an old friend they connect with deeply, even if they’ve only met in dreams. When you see the sunrise, you know you’ll remember those Woody Allen-style vacations forever. Dolce is fresh and has a well-executed sweet, aquatic aroma, but despite describing it with few words, what it conveys is quite comforting.

  • When in 2014 D&G realized Monica Bellucci could no longer be their face due to the loss of her youthful glow and the need to capture new generations, they decided to ‘Belluccize’ the most similar model to launch their new perfume with a Gen Y vibe. The choice of model (Kate King, Canadian) suggests they wanted to convey this shift through imagery: made-up and dressed to look as Italian as possible, copying Bellucci. However, the girl lacks the original’s allure. Something similar happens with Dolce: they try to sell it as the next Italian brand perfume, but it’s pleasant, no more than a bland, artificial summer scent, like musky water lily water with a citrus opening and lots of cashmere at the end. Despite being a summer scent, it lasts less than an hour in the heat unless you douse yourself in it, in which case it lingers on the skin for a couple more hours. No idea of the real cost; I used up my 1.5 ml sample in a day and lost interest, but it surely isn’t worth 10€. If you like light, feminine perfumes, I highly recommend trying Japanese houses like Issey Miyake or Kenzo: for similar prices, they offer diaphanous perfumes with better longevity and quality. Pleasant: 5/10, Interesting: 3/10, Versatile: 6/10, Original: 3/10.

  • Miss Birkin

My mother owns this perfume, and I’ve used it a few times. I like it, but not much; it’s not my style or age group, but it’s acceptable. 7.9/10.

  • Fresh, green, and aquatic. Besides the lotus, the narcissus is clearly noticeable in the floral part. It has moderate sillage and lasts about 8 hours on my skin. If I had it, I’d wear it for informal summer occasions, but it evokes sensations similar to a cheaper perfume in my collection, Lightly Bloom by Zara, which performs equally or better on my skin, so I wouldn’t buy it. Scent: 6.5/10, Longevity: 8/10, Sillage: 6.5/10, Value: 6.5/10, Versatility: 7.5/10, Packaging: 8.5/10. Would I buy again? No.

  • I’m surprised every time I use it; I feel like I’m discovering different moments. The opening is a green breeze; the first sensation is a summer evening at sunset, when the freshness of the night begins to arrive. It’s definitely green, but unlike classics, in my case, the creaminess is very present alongside the flowers, creating an intoxicating aroma. It’s joyful and delicate. I love how it performs on my skin.

  • I used it a few years ago and loved it: super sweet, floral, fresh, and feminine. Perfect for daytime and summer. I also loved its advertising. I wore a lot of it and adored it. Now it doesn’t smell as rich, and I agree with those who say it’s very pricey.

  • Dolce feels like a fresh spring breeze, like right after a shower. Its opening notes are green, fresh, clean, and soft, intensifying over time. You can detect the white flowers (which made me choose it) and the musk. After an hour, it’s not a sillage-heavy or long-lasting fragrance, typical of green notes. It’s an expensive indulgence but very pretty.

  • Dolce is a shy, beautiful floral, like early spring with the first seasonal fruits: small, tender, and lovely. It’s an easy, uncomplicated perfume. It has a minimal fresh, floral-fruity touch, like newborn flowers with dew. Ideal for noses seeking something safe, non-invasive, and pleasant year-round. It’s a kind, cheerful softness, like Chloe or Daisy. It’s the croissant when you don’t know what to order—the comfortable, pretty option to avoid overthinking.

  • I really liked it, but the longevity is non-existent, and when it dries down, it smells weird, almost spoiled. This happens with other perfumes too (Kenzo, Montblanc, Moschino), especially if I overapply; I think it’s a specific ingredient.
