Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle is one of Dior’s most consistent flankers, though ironically it suffers from market irrelevance. It doesn’t boast complexity; its depth is easy for any rose lover to understand. The rose-jasmine blend is my favorite (like in Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle or Creed’s Aventus), and here the rose is fresh, realistic, and honest, comparable to Yves Rocher’s Moment de Bonheur. It evolves simply and discreetly; after just one spray, you can smell it all over the body. It’s a sharp, elegant, almost voluptuous combination with a timeless musk note reminiscent of Narciso Rodriguez For Her. The surprise is a woody cedar note that appears reluctantly after several hours. It doesn’t seem to innovate compared to the original, nor does it try; it feels like an illegitimate child between Narciso Rodriguez For Her and Chloé Eau de Parfum. I’ve really liked it. It’s not intense, it’s delicate, and it doesn’t transgress. Lasts about 6 hours but stands out for its versatility. Nothing overwhelming, simple, and highly likable. Fragile yet irascible, eloquent yet introverted… Eau Sensuelle is fun and coherent with Dior Addict. If you like roses or jasmine, you’ll love it.

Thanks to a very friendly sales associate at a mall, I got a bunch of samples and liked it so much that I only have one left. The note that stands out most is, without a doubt, the jasmine. At some point, it reminded me of Thierry Mugler’s Alien, but much softer. The difference is that Addict Eau Sensuelle stays floral-woody, far less sweet than Alien, and is skin-close but with a very sexy touch thanks to the rose and musk. Now that I think about it, the scent radiates more than I expected: I applied it at 9 a.m., and at 5 p.m., I passed by my mother, who asked what perfume I was wearing because it smelled so nice! Coming from her, that’s a huge achievement! I hope to get this Dior soon… Meanwhile, I’ll enjoy every last drop of the sample I have left.

When I tried to buy Dior Addict 2 for the second time, it was already out of stock! I almost died when they gave me this to try instead, and I loved it. It’s very talcum-like but floral and very delicate. It’s ideal for spring: not intense enough for cold weather, yet too heavy for summer. It has a very pronounced sillage; every time I wear it, someone asks me what perfume I’m using. I’d give it an 8/10.

A very delicate and floral scent, perfect for spring. Longevity is great; it lasts quite a while on my skin, and by the end of the day, it leaves a super soft, almost talcum-like, very feminine trail. Edit: This is a perfume I’d love to own again.

It’s a super delicate and floral fragrance, perfect for spring. It lasts a long time on my skin, and by the end of the day, it leaves a super soft trail, almost powdery, very feminine. Edit: This is a perfume I’d love to have again.

  6. Bought this blind this summer. I usually love Eau Sensuelle fragrances like Dior’s Hypnotic Poison or Mugler’s Aura, but this is definitely the worst one I’ve tried from the brand. It smells like body wash.

  7. I bought this blindly this summer; I usually love the Eau Sensuelle line, like Hypnotic Poison by Dior or Aura by Mugler, but this is the worst fragrance I’ve tried from the brand. It smells like bath soap.

Smells very rich; it’s very sweet but not in an offensive way. The woody cedar notes are almost imperceptible; on my skin, it smells mainly of jasmine and roses.
