It’s sweet, but not cloying at all. You can really smell the orange blossom, vanilla, and bergamot. It lasts about 5-6 hours with a soft sillage. I consider it ideal for all year and everyday wear, though in summer it’s better for nights or cool days. It smells similar to Scandal EDP and the bottle reminds me of La Belle Le Parfum.
Exquisite fragrance, sweet and vanilla-forward. You can really smell the citrus at the beginning and the neroli, which I love. Excellent for everyday wear.
On me, it smells basically like caramel and coffee… very much in the vibe of YSL’s Black Opium and almost identical to Britney Spears’ Prerogative, even though those notes aren’t listed. I don’t detect the listed notes and the floral doesn’t come through. I expected a white floral with vanilla, but it’s a gourmand dry down. It smells good, but it didn’t meet my expectations.
I’ve smelled this before in another brand, perhaps a more expensive one, but it doesn’t smell better here. It’s a good perfume, but too heavy; I’ll try it in winter. The first hour is cloying, but the burnt caramel becomes more wearable later. For the price, it’s decent and meant for winter; I’d gift it to someone who loves dense scents. I insist, it’s very heavy; I wouldn’t buy it blind even at this price.
I’ve smelled this before on another brand, perhaps a more expensive one, but that doesn’t make it smell better. It’s a good perfume, but too heavy (I’ll try it in winter). The first hour is cloying, then the burnt caramel becomes more bearable. For the price, it’s decent and it’s for winter. I’d gift it to someone older who likes dense perfumes. I reiterate, it’s heavy; I wouldn’t buy it blindly even if it were cheap.
The opening is fresh with citrus, but the flowers I love appear quickly. In the end, it leaves a very sweet caramel with vanilla. It’s the sweet side of vanilla, which is why I don’t feel it the same as Scandal, which has honey. Dance Red Midnight is more of a sweet orange blossom vanilla. It reminds me of my grandmother’s orange blossom, which she used in water to cure herself. As it dries down, it resembles gourmands like Scandal or La Petite Robe Noire Intense. I have a decant and enjoyed it; I’ll add it to my collection. Due to the sweetness, I think it’s for cool days, but it can be worn day or night. It has a warm aura and is just right for the cold.
It starts fresh with citrus, but the flowers quickly take over. In the dry down, it leaves a very sweet caramel-vanilla trail, like dulce de leche, not the honey-like Scandal. It’s a bitter-orange vanilla; it reminds me of my grandmother’s little bottle with medicinal orange blossom drops. As it settles, it blends with gourmands like Scandal or La Petite Robe Noire Intense. I enjoyed it in a decant and will add it to my collection. For that sweetness, it’s best for fresh days, day or night, with a warm aura perfect for cold weather.
What a surprise! It smells a lot like Ilia Secreto by Natura but softer, like a junior version. It’s not a citrus opening, but rather a sweet fruity one. The sweetness stays throughout, and as it dries down, the white flowers emerge and the sugar fades. Medium sillage and lasts 3-4 hours. It’s an EDT. I loved this gift because I adore Ilia, but the original was too much for everyday office wear, so this lighter version is excellent!
I love it, it’s super enveloping. You can really smell the orange blossom and vanilla, and it lasts longer on clothes than on skin. It could use a bit more longevity and sillage, but it smells great for winter. It’s not heavy, so it’s perfect for work.
It’s not ugly, but I wouldn’t wear it. The neroli and vanilla are what I notice most. That animal and powdery touch doesn’t convince me; it’s not my style. It lasts 4-5 hours clinging to the skin with no projection. For the price, you can’t ask for more.
I liked it quite a bit; on me, it’s just like Givenchy’s L’Interdit. Moderate trail, about 6 hours longevity on skin right up close; however, it lasts a bit longer on clothes. The original lasts all day. For those who can’t buy the other and want to try something similar, it’s an excellent alternative.

I picked this up today, 11/19/2022, drawn by that lovely neroli note I adore, similar to L’Interdit. However, the vanilla is so overpowering it completely masks the neroli. It’s almost identical to Olympéa Legend, in fact.
I just bought it today, 11/19/2022. I purchased it because the neroli note is one of my favorites, where it stands out like in L’Interdit, for example. The neroli comes through at times, but the vanilla is so strong it doesn’t let that note stand out more. It’s very similar to Olympea Legend; I own it, and honestly, they’re too alike.
They’ve launched a new one, Dance Midnight Muse; it’s not bad and has acceptable longevity.
It’s a rich perfume; even though coffee isn’t listed, it gives me that impression; it’s a very rich chocolatey fragrance, excellent for a night out. Putting it on generates compliments.
I love it; I’m a huge fan of vanilla combined with flowers and gourmand essences. It reminds me of other scents I can’t quite identify, but it’s not an aroma you’d say ‘I’ve never smelled before.’ I feel it’s creamy and warm, like there’s some undeclared caramel involved. As it settles on the skin, it feels very much in the Carolina Herrera style—I can’t recall which one specifically, but it has that vibe. Edit: Smelling it among my perfumes, it feels very similar to Kriska Sonhos by Natura. That creamy, sweet, warm, and gourmand sensation.
There are so many excellent perfumes at an incredible price that I don’t understand opting to buy a bathroom spray called Shakira…
I bought it for the blueberry and vanilla notes and have already used over three bottles. For me, it’s an ideal EDT for cold weather; when summer started in Buenos Aires, I stopped wearing it because I didn’t like it, perhaps due to my skin’s pH in the heat, but in the cold it lasts well on skin and clothes, smells soft, and highlights the vanilla with the blueberry. The bergamot’s acidic touches are subtle. No one has complimented it up close like others; it feels like it leaves a short trail but is noticeable when greeting someone. It’s not cloying; I recommend it to those who prefer sweet but subtle scents.
There are so many excellent perfumes at an incredible price that buying a room spray called Shakira seems crazy.
I find it pleasant; I own it and enjoy it, but it does feel a bit synthetic and somewhat flat, without much evolution.
It’s the only Shakira perfume worth buying for its longevity: on my skin it lasted 6-7 hours and projects well. Although it smells a bit synthetic, it reminds me a lot of Olympea Legend. It’s affordable and a great alternative.
Just tried it. On me, it’s sweet-floral (in that order), and what I feel most is the neroli and blueberries. I see it more for cool or cold climates. On the skin, it only lasted 2 hours, and on clothes up to 4. For now, I just say ‘I like it.’ Edit: With continued use, the neroli note seemed very invasive to me—a cloying, overly sweet herbal smell. I no longer like it and won’t be buying it again.
The first thing I notice is sweet neroli with a hint of acidity (I assume from the blueberries), especially at the start. Then the vanilla drops in a gourmand way that reminds me a bit of Black Opium. I also sense a spicy side, even if it’s not declared. I’m not a huge fan of Shakira, but I’ve really liked this one. On my skin, it has decent longevity, which surprised me. Like others, it’s best for cool or cold climates.
I love Shakira’s Dance perfumes, and this is a total hit. I’ve had it since mid-2022 and should finish it soon because it’s running low and I already have another full bottle ready to use. It smells enveloping, sweet, and cozy—very winter vibes; I never see myself wearing it in summer because it would overwhelm me. I think the notes combine brilliantly to create such a unique aroma; it’s almost my favorite in the line, though Dance Rose gives it a serious run for its money.
It smells fresh and futuristic. On my skin, blueberries, neroli, and jasmine dominate with a sweet, characterful twist. It projects a lot and lasts about 6 hours. I love it; it’s worth it because it’s cheap, lasts long, and smells amazing.
What a cool perfume. The opening is brutal, and as it dries down, you get a luxurious vanilla-neroli. The patchouli fades quickly, but I’m guessing there’s vetiver hidden in there that adds a beautiful touch and lingers on the skin. 7 hours and it smells spectacular; what a precious fragrance. 🥰
Shakira’s Dance Red Midnight… I love it because it’s so similar to Givenchy’s L’Interdit. I don’t hold back on praising its own creation since comparing it to that icon is inevitable, and that’s exactly why I’m obsessed with it. I really enjoy wearing it. This flanker is closer to the original than Dance Midnight, which is why I bought it too. I enjoy both so much that I don’t hesitate to reapply after 6 hours, which is what I’ve noticed for longevity on the skin. If you can’t pull off Givenchy’s L’Interdit at an event, this Shakira option is a great choice. I adore the neroli note; it’s my favorite flower in perfumery. I recommend it for a casual, chic, and sexy look. Perfumes and more…Nahuell.
It’s super delicious! I just wish it lasted longer 🥺
It starts fruity and dries down to sweet neroli. It’s lovely, but it doesn’t last at all—maybe two hours on the skin at best.
The scent is rich, but in the dry-down, something doesn’t quite work for me; there’s a synthetic touch that ruins the overall experience. It’s decent for the price, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
What a gorgeous scent! It looks luxurious, and as a celebrity EDT, the quality is top-notch. It lasts well even though the trail is subtle; zero alcohol burn. The neroli is the star, with a start of red fruits and caramel that’s absolutely divine. I love wearing it and recommend it if you like L’Interdit Intense but don’t want to spend a fortune—it’s the perfect affordable alternative.
