  Didn’t like it, gave it away. I find it simple and boring, it doesn’t last on the skin, and it didn’t feel feminine to me.

  Finally tried it and I loved it. It’s super aquatic, you can really smell the bergamot, and leaves you feeling clean and fresh. Smells great, ideal for daily wear. Lasts a decent amount of time with a moderate sillage. The bottle is the same as the previous S edition but with a very aquatic navy blue and shiny gold that looks like the sun. Overall, I really liked it, giving it an 8.5/10.

  Finally tried it and I loved it. It lives up to its name: very aquatic, you can tell the water and a bit of bergamota. It makes you feel fresh and clean, smells delicious, and is great for daytime. Good longevity and moderate sillage. The bottle looks like the original but in navy blue with shiny gold. Overall, I liked it a lot; I’d give it an 8.5/10.

  I loved it once it dried down after an hour. I sensed woods with a marine touch and a spicy note I couldn’t identify, but it smelled rich, like cream. I’ll definitely buy it again. It lasts about 6 hours with interesting sillage. It seems very similar to Shakira’s Aphrodite Elixir, though this one is spicier, less sweet, less childish, and lasts longer.

  I was excited because it finally arrived in Argentina, but it disappointed me a bit. To my nose, it’s almost a clone of Antonio Banderas’ Blue Seduction, except the Aquamarine by Shakira has less longevity and the top notes are fruitier and more feminine. I love Blue Seduction; I’ve bought it several times, it’s cheaper, and lasts longer on my skin. I liked Aquamarine, just not as much.

  Pleasant, luminous, and cheerful fragrance, perfect for spring and summer. I detected an unlisted musk note and it feels unisex; I was really surprised. It has good sillage and longevity; hours later, it reminds me of Light Blue Woman by D&G.

  It arrived in Argentina and disappointed me a bit. To my nose, it smells almost like Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas, but with less longevity, fruitier notes, and a more feminine vibe. I absolutely love Blue Seduction and buy it repeatedly because it’s cheaper and lasts longer. I liked Aquamarine, just not as much.

  I loved the scent once it dried down after an hour of application. I mainly sensed woody notes with a marine touch and a spicy hint I can’t quite identify, but above all, a rich creamy smell. No doubt I’ll buy it again. It lasts about 6 hours on my skin and has an interesting sillage. I feel it’s very similar to Shakira’s Aphrodisiac Elixir, except this one is less sweet, lasts longer, spicier, and slightly less childish.

  A pleasant, luminous, cheerful, and youthful fragrance. I think it works for any season, but is more recommended for spring and summer. I detect an undisclosed musky note. It feels unisex and surprised me a lot. Sillage and longevity are acceptable. A few hours later, it reminds me of D&G Light Blue Woman.

  At first, it’s aquatic with orange and passion fruit, but later it turns very woody, loses its femininity, and feels unisex—I didn’t like that shift.

  I’m wearing it today. I’ve been a Shakira fan for a long time; her music is amazing and has marked turning points in my life. When the first S by Shakira came out, I didn’t like it much; it wasn’t for me. After a trip to Dubai, someone brought me this 50ml Elixir as a gift, which wasn’t sold in Mexico. That’s when I returned to her perfumes. Then I saw they were releasing a special Aquamarine edition. Upon smelling the dry down, I adored it—it was so fresh and sweet at the same time that I thought it was unisex and not too feminine. You can smell the water and bergamota, my favorite note. It was a birthday gift and I still have more than a third left; it was discontinued a few months later, which makes it special. It’s commonly found at Puig. Along with the perfume, I was gifted a gold necklace with the letter S. If you liked it and want to get it again, the formula is almost identical to Rock by Shakira.

  I’m a huge Shakira fan; her music marked key moments in my life. I started with S by Shakira but didn’t like it, then a friend gifted me Elixir in Dubai and I was back into the brand. I found S Aquamarine at a department store: it smelled amazing on the test strip, fresh yet sweet, almost unisex. You can definitely detect the water and bergamot, my favorite. It was a birthday gift and is now discontinued, which adds to its value. Puig does this all the time. It comes with a gold necklace featuring the ‘S’. If you like it, it’s almost identical to Rock by Shakira.

  I used to love it, carried it in my bag all the time, and everyone said it smelled great, but they discontinued it and the other Shakira scents just don’t work for me.
