It’s a perfume I don’t quite like. It has a terrible dry down, super synthetic. I bought it because I love Bleu de Chanel and they said this was the same but with better performance. I’ll keep looking for that promise, but in a different perfume.
Blind-bought fragrance, a hit for me. While the opening isn’t its strong suit, it evolves well later. I own Blue de Chanel Parfum, and while this is superior in olfactory quality, I can’t smell it after 5 hours. A perfume over 130 euros that doesn’t last long for me makes me question if it’s worth it. It’s obviously not as good as Blue Iconic, but it has a reasonable similarity; only someone very experienced would notice it on the go. Conclusion: not a bad option at all. The similarity is reasonable, and the price certainly doesn’t approach the brand new Blue. 7.5/10.
Aromatic-citrus with a vibe very much in the Bleu de Chanel line, fresh but elegant. The opening is bright, with citrus and clean aromatic notes, slightly woody in the background that makes it more serious and versatile. In my collection, I use it as an all-rounder all year round: works in the office with controlled climate, for daytime social outings, and even at night if I don’t want something too heavy. It has good longevity and moderate projection, without reaching the excess of other more potent Arabic fragrances. It doesn’t surprise too much because it plays on known ground, but it performs very well as an elegant and versatile fragrance that never goes wrong.
This is my first review, hope it helps. 🤠 After almost two months with Club de Nuit Iconic, I say it gets very close to its inspiration, Bleu de Chanel, or as I like to call it, ‘Chanel God’. Although I haven’t compared them directly, I’d say the similarity is around 80-85%. The opening can feel a bit sharp, with a cleaner scent, but it lasts only 2-4 minutes. Then comes the dry down, where it really shines: it becomes much more pleasant, elegant, and balanced. In terms of longevity, applying it between 8 and 9 AM, it projects well for the first hour or two. After that, it becomes a personal bubble. In my case, I’ve even experienced olfactory fatigue because I can still smell it a bit at night before showering. Should I recommend it? Yes, especially if you’re starting with fragrances. If you already have experience or a trained nose, it might not fully convince you. It works perfectly for me for everyday office wear or casual outings. I’d just recommend moderating sprays on very hot days, because the incense note can become a bit heavy.
I don’t think it’s bad, but the opening doesn’t appeal to me; it’s heavier than in Bleu de Chanel. The dry down isn’t bad but not incredible either. I bought it blind and I’m not entirely satisfied; I expected much more.
I had doubts hearing that many said it was very similar to Bleu de Chanel, but this smells like plastic. Terrible.
Classic blue fragrance. It has the winning formula. Fresh opening, bitter citrus, slightly fruity, softly spiced with pepper and nutmeg, some wood, patchouli, and incense that give it weight to be all-rounder, plus amber for a subtle sweetness. The freshness and citrus don’t last long, no more than 10 minutes; then woods, spices, and incense take over with grapefruit in the background. I wouldn’t wear it above 25 degrees or below 20. It’s eminently synthetic, like most blues at any price, even the expensive ones from Chanel or Dior. Being synthetic doesn’t make it bad, it’s just a characteristic of the genre. The scent is very good. There’s an alcoholic note at first that marks its synthetic nature, but it disappears in 5-10 minutes and the development begins, which is correct. I don’t compare it to any Bleu; it’s unnecessary. It has the vibe of the Bleu line but doesn’t compete; they’re in different leagues due to ingredient quality. Not bad at all, though Bleu fans won’t recognize its merit and will always prefer their own Bleu. That doesn’t take away its charm; everyone has their own thing. Great manual blue fragrance with good performance at a good price. I bought the 200ml bottle for 58 euros. Recommended for everyday wear, a versatile all-rounder.
Total disappointment. I’ll never buy blind based on reviews again. It’s a cheap perfume sold at a high price because it’s worthless. Smells like synthetic deodorant, has no projection or sillage, and after two hours it’s gone. You won’t bother anyone even if you spray the whole bottle. Worst of my collection; I’ll use it as a room freshener until it’s empty and never again.
Its reputation for smelling like Bleu de Chanel is correct and understandable in the sense that it’s the easiest way to explain what it smells like. Almost everyone knows what BdC is and it serves as a reference. Now, it’s the same style, smells similar, but it’s far from the shine and quality of any Bleu. It’s similar, but in use, it doesn’t have the same magic. Saying Iconic is an economic replacement or substitute for Bleu is very misguided.
You can wear it anytime or anywhere, and no one will complain because it smells good. I expected more projection, but it’s a really soft aroma compared to others. I still recommend it, but it’s not a beast mode that lasts 12 hours and projects for 8. It does the job, and if it doesn’t get compliments, it’s probably because people think you smell good without you saying anything.
Smells very much like Bleu, perfect for everyday wear. Great projection without being overwhelming, I recommend it.
A soft fragrance, with a clean citrus that reminds me a lot of baby colognes. I don’t feel it’s masculine; rather, it’s neutral leaning feminine. Ideal for quick outings, errands, or just smelling good without complicating things. I don’t see it much on men, except in jobs where a soft scent is appreciated: teachers, camp counselors, nurses… something like that. A fragrance with no intention or presence. It projects well for the first two hours, then it becomes a personal bubble (but not sticky to the skin). It lasts about three hours on my skin, a bit longer on clothes. If you’re thinking of buying it, better try a decant first.
I want to think this perfume was good years ago, but now in 2025 it’s a complete disappointment. It’s the typical cheap synthetic perfume, but this one is quite expensive for what it offers. It seems like complete madness to compare it with Bleu de Chanel. I don’t recommend it at all.
I quite like it. When I went to try it, I sprayed it on my arm and then went home. When I got there, I smelled it and it seemed like a fresh and very rich scent. At that time, I didn’t have anything for summer, which I thought was an excellent option. I’ve had it for a year now and it has never disappointed me. That said, it has an opening with a very sharp citrus that I don’t love, plus it feels a bit synthetic, but give it half an hour and it turns into that perfume I felt on my arm that one time. The melon note with the woods and citrus gives a good balance between fresh, masculine, elegant, and slightly sweet. A good option for everyday wear or formal situations in summer, considering the price and excellent performance. I enjoy using it, an 8.5/10.
What can I say about this gem? Ultra-versatile perfume, an almost unique scent, good longevity. Buy blind.
Honestly, I haven’t smelled Bleu de Chanel, but this definitely smells similar. It’s on my shopping list, but watch out: I don’t want to say you must buy it because it’s a somewhat complicated scent. At first, it feels strange, not very pleasant, but that lasts only three or four minutes. Then you notice a not-too-strong lemon and an incredibly rich grapefruit. As it dries down, woody notes appear, making the perfume very masculine, but not for an old man. Not for a boy under 18 either (I’m 17 and still use it because for me, it’s exquisite). I see it as daily wear, quite versatile. I think it works well at the gym or at school, though it might not be the best for a party because its sillage isn’t great. Its longevity on me lasts about seven hours, which is pretty good. I’ve heard people say it lasts nine, but I don’t think that’s true. It’s a perfume I recommend if you like mature scents and something different from current trends like Vulcan Feu, Spectre Malachite, 9PM Rebel, Hawas Ice, or any of the Hawas lines actually (except the Black, that’s another perfume I love and is on my list). So if you’re looking for a good and cheap summer perfume, I totally recommend it.
Well, look where I ended up with this ‘pig’ from Armaf. Yes, it’s a blatant clone (like so many others, nothing new), in this case of Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum (though the opening leans slightly toward the Eau de Toilette). Why did I buy it? First, because I got it for 35€ for 105 ml, hey, you can’t complain. Second, because despite me loving the Chanel one aromatically, it has the worst performance-to-price ratio I’ve seen in a long time (something already typical and known with this brand), which doesn’t happen with this clone. ‘Iconic’, despite having, as expected, lower quality than Chanel (still, it’s not short, watch out, it’s very worthy), the rest of what it offers (longevity, projection, and sillage) is light years ahead of the original, which, as I pointed out above, is simply mediocre. And finally, because Bleu, for me, is a true closet staple (like almost the entire regular line of this brand) and personally I’m not willing to pay that much money for that, especially when it comes with terrible overall performance. Anyway, from my side, recommended fragrance, especially if you can get it for under 40€ (which is quite probable if you look hard enough).
If I could pick just one Arabic perfume from all their lines… it would be this CDN Iconic. Super versatile, rich blue aroma, I have no complaints. In fact, I bought a second backup bottle before they reformulated it. It has good projection and longevity; it lasts on clothes until the next day. Of all my Arabic perfumes, this is one of my favorites. The only downside is its terrible atomizer, but the juice is what matters. I give it a 10/10.
I love it. All-rounder, incredibly rich scent, and great longevity and projection. I’ve already gone through three bottles. A 10/10.
I bought it, and honestly, it smells like a duck purifying everything all the time. I don’t know if that’s how the original is supposed to smell, but it feels very synthetic. At least, the people around me say they like the scent.
It’s been a long time since I smelled something so synthetic; it hit the market unready. I’d rather burn plastic and apply it to my skin.
It smells super citrusy and fresh, but the woody notes take center stage, like drops of lemon in wood. You can detect the patchouli and the spicy touch of nutmeg and ginger. Age: 25 to 50. It’s a mature fragrance, nothing youthful. Ideal for mild spring or summer nights, because during the day in summer, it seems too strong. It lasts about 6 hours on skin. The bottle is typical of Club de Nuit, flashy and eye-catching, blue to refer to the citrusy freshness. The presentation is a standard box, not very standout. Inspired by Bleu de Chanel, I feel it has a more artificial and intense lemon at the start than the original. My girlfriend likes it a lot; good perfume for the price.
I expected more, honestly. I was looking for a good dupe or clone of BDC EdP, something versatile and elegant, and I don’t feel like paying a fortune for something that isn’t worth it for longevity, projection, and, to be honest, it smells quite generic. This Blue Iconic smells very synthetic and has a discordant nutty note; maybe it’s my skin, but I’m glad I bought a sample. A 5/10 for me.
The opening smells a bit synthetic due to the intensity with which it hits, but then it becomes very similar.
Batch 03/25: At first, it smells like a purifying duck with blue water, but after 5 minutes, it disappears and a rich scent begins. Halfway through its life, it smells more like melon, and at the end, it’s a rich woody scent, almost sweet and creamy, just like the Montblanc Explorer Platinum. What remains is incense. It lasts about 7 hours on skin and clothes. It’s perfect for work, school, or any outing, formal or casual, never failing. I’d buy it blindly, but better test the opening first because it might not suit you. For the rest, in my opinion, it’s perfect for heat or cold, day or night.
Hi! I bought it based on the reviews, trusting blindly, but this isn’t for summer. It smells soft but isn’t clean like it appears. Total disappointment! Nothing like Blue de Chanel. Don’t buy it!
Hey! I’ve been using it for two weeks. I bought it blindly and it was my first Arabic fragrance; I also didn’t know the Bleu de Chanel. I love it and have gotten compliments. At first, it can be a bit irritating, though it’s versatile and great for heat. It doesn’t last long on skin, about 4-5 hours. Anyway, I’m happy; it exceeded my expectations. I tried Bleu de Chanel and definitely prefer Iconic. Cheers!
I own Iconic and tried a decant of Bleu; the difference is astronomical. Iconic wins on projection and longevity, but Bleu lasts about 6 hours with moderate sillage and smells much better—more refined and pleasant. I’d rather it last less if it smells better. They’re about 75% similar.
I don’t get how Armaf manages to make something that’s barely noticeable on the skin after an hour. I don’t even expect it to improve with time. There are better options in the Bleu de Chanel line. I gave it away because I wouldn’t put it in my collection for anything.
Fresh, aquatic, energizing, and very masculine; I see it as perfect for going to work or an important meeting. It gives a sense of purity and cleanliness, elegant. In my opinion, it’s ideal for making a good impression in a work environment. Every man should have one. It looks high-end and expensive, but it offers a lot. On my husband’s skin, it opens with citrus like grapefruit and lemon, then the mint emerges and intensifies, dusted with pink pepper. As it evolves, notes of ginger, nutmeg, and melon add sweetness, along with patchouli and amber. The jasmine is subtle but present. Dried down, it has a heavy incense load, very woody and spicy. At the one-hour mark, a beautiful musk shines through, and by two hours, it turns slightly powdery without losing its aquatic and woody character. It’s a spectacular blue fragrance that projects cleanliness and beauty, attracting attention. It’s versatile, almost year-round, perhaps less so in winter. Excellent perfume. My husband wears it and projects to 1.5 meters for 3 hours, then to half a meter for another 2-3 hours. Longevity is 8-9 hours on skin, incredible for this profile. Lasts on clothes for days. It’s one of his most praised fragrances. I highly recommend it. Heavy blue glass bottle with a spiderweb design.
It works for me, but it’s so potent and coarse that it fatigues my nose quickly; it smells like dust, women’s makeup, or cleaning products—I can’t tell which note it is.
Batch from 9/2025, made in Dubai. It has some similarity to Bleu de Chanel EDP (I’ve only heard of it in decants), but it reminds me more of the Amber Oud Bleu Edition and a bit of the Amber Oud Aqua Dubai (due to the musk in the dry down). Compared to both, I think this CDN Iconic offers better value for money and performance. The bottle I have now, made in Dubai, has a better opening and citrus balance than the previous French one, though its performance is slightly inferior. The problem with cheap blue perfumes is that they don’t project or last, and while this isn’t a beast like its Intense sibling, it does perform. It has lower olfactory quality than the BdCh EDP but better performance; although it’s not a super projector, it is noticeable, especially in summer, and lasts on clothes even after the wash. It’s pleasant but lacks a wow factor. Do I like it? Yes. Does it make me fall in love? No. Would I recommend it? It depends. I don’t see it as a signature scent, but rather as a solid wardrobe staple for hot weather. It’s my second bottle because it’s the only affordable option in this style with projection and longevity that convince me, though for a bit more you can get Dylan Blue, which, despite lower performance and reformulations, is superior in aroma with acceptable longevity. The French version, though rougher in the opening, is more potent. Scent: 7, Projection: 7.5, Longevity: 8.
Smells great, almost soapy, with mint standing out and giving it a talcum-like vibe. Very useful for the office to project a clean image. I’d use it only for everyday situations, like working all day or meeting clients. For dinners or events, there are better options. It’s a perfume for when you know the day is uneventful but you still want to smell good and clean.
I bought it recently and think it’s very good. It has the spicy DNA of the Bleu de Chanel opening, then turns into a rich, identifiable woody/citrus masculine base. It’s an all-rounder for work, the gym, everyday wear… it could easily be a daily signature. Ideal for all seasons except winter and not recommended for night outs. It shines in the sun and during the day. It’s a great value-for-money alternative.
Smells good and is easy to like, but I was disappointed by the poor longevity and projection. I had to spray it 20-25 times to make it noticeable; it lasted only 1-2 hours before fading to skin scent. The price is too high for what it offers; don’t let the hype fool you.
I wanted to know what it smelled like, and honestly, it wasn’t the best. I didn’t like it, but others seemed to enjoy it. Dried down, it smells like talcum powder with a sweet touch that isn’t cloying; very clean.
As synthetic as it gets; it never really rounds out, feeling very disjointed and linear. The quality difference with Bleu is astronomical. It lasts well, 7-8 hours, but if you’re looking for a Chanel dupe, this isn’t it; they’re similar, but the olfactory experience is very different.
It’s a good, simple fragrance, ideal for everyday wear.
Very masculine. The opening doesn’t grab me at first, but once it dries down, it becomes dense and delicious.
Lasts about 8 hours on my skin; at the 10-hour mark, my girlfriend can smell it but I can’t, so it must still be there, even though I only really detect it for the first 4 hours. Projects quite well.
