  • Although it’s cheap, I wouldn’t recommend it; there are more modern and appealing options if you’re looking for a rose scent.

  • How lovely! At first, a burst of sweet tangerine and juicy pear that doesn’t last long. Then, a blend of tender, powdery rose and peony playing with a fresh cherry that never leaves, keeping the fruity aspect alive. The musk and sandalwood base add creaminess and cleanliness, while the vetiver adds depth and a subtle green woody touch. It’s a soft, clean, powdery fruity floral, perfect for shoulder season, spring, and autumn. In the heat, it feels too powdery; it reminds me of Kenzo’s Flower in the Air and Elizabeth Arden’s True Love, but this one keeps a peach note that makes it more winter-appropriate. It’s daily, very wearable, and more versatile than the original Cabotine. Very youthful, cheerful, enchanting, and delicious, like something you’d want to eat. It’s not too sweet or cloying. It’s perfect for an adolescent heart, delicate, innocent, and feminine in every way. It won’t overwhelm or bother anyone nearby. The trail is good, and while the longevity isn’t as high as the original Cabotine, it’s enough to compete and come out on top; on me, it’s already been 4 hours and still going. The bottle is identical to the original, very ergonomic, which is a plus, but with the pink liquid and the flower-topped cap, it resembles a rose with marble tints. Very beautiful and worthy; I’m going to use it daily this autumn that has finally begun, and I’m thinking of stocking up on more units just in case.

  • What a cutie! At first, it smells like sweet mandarin and juicy pear, but that fades quickly to make room for a blend of tender, powdery rose and peony, mixed with a fresh cherry note that lingers and keeps the fruity vibe. The musk and sandalwood base add creaminess and cleanliness, while the vetiver brings depth and a green woody touch that makes it unique among florals. It’s a soft, clean, powdery fruity floral, perfect for spring, autumn, and mild weather; in the heat, it feels too powdery, reminding me sometimes of Kenzo’s Flower in the Air or Elizabeth Arden’s True Love, though this one retains a peach note that makes it feel more wintery. It’s younger, cheerier, and more versatile than the original Cabotine, ideal for everyday wear. Very delicate, innocent, and feminine, it doesn’t bother anyone up close. The trail is nice, and while the longevity isn’t as strong as the original, it’s enough to last through the day—I’ve worn it for four hours and it’s still going. The bottle is identical to the original, ergonomic, but with the pink liquid and the flower-shaped cap, it looks like a rose with marble veins. Very pretty, I’ll use it daily with autumn here and already plan on buying more just in case.

I liked it; it smells like very tender and fresh roses. I bought it for myself, which was the only time, and then I bought another one for my goddaughter and she loved it.

  • It has the Cabotine DNA, just softer, fresher, and very fruity. You can smell the white flowers, but a cherry scent that isn’t listed dominates. It’s a fresh perfume ideal for summer.

  • I like it, but I don’t love it. It’s wearable, but it smells like everyone else’s perfume and has a touch that doesn’t quite click for me. However, it’s not bad, I just won’t repurchase when I run out.

  • Pía Mosquera

I love it; it’s delicate and fresh, perfect for mild or warm weather. As the name suggests, it smells like roses to me. A fragrance that both young girls and middle-aged women can wear.

I love it; it’s delicate and fresh, perfect for mild or warm weather. As its name suggests, it smells like roses to me. Young girls or middle-aged women can both wear it.

  • It’s frustrating how little it lasts. The opening is pleasant but it fades incredibly fast, and all the listed notes are a mystery; I don’t know where they are.

  • I agree with Pia: fresh and delicate, perfect for mild weather. If you like roses, this is just that, with touches of white flowers reminiscent of the original Cabotine. The musk gives it a soft creaminess. Use it for sports or if you’re going to be moving around a lot; the trail is noticeable. I’m head over heels.

  • I bought it blind because I’m a fan of the classic Cabotine. I liked it, although at first it smelled like aldehydes, which gave me a little pause. But its evolution on my skin is out of this world; I love it.

  • Beyond the rose, cherry, blackcurrant, and jasmine, I don’t detect any other notes, only in the opening. Once it dries down, it’s just rose. It’s pleasant but very subtle. The only thing that stands out is the atomizer, which is a luxury.

For the price, it’s a steal. I’ve gotten a thousand kisses when I hug people, even though it doesn’t last long or project much since it’s an EDT. Perfect for gifting to women over 40.

  • Honestly, I hated it. It smells like grandma and synthetic room deodorizer to me. I’ll be gifting it. I thought I could get the price-quality ratio right.

  • Honestly, I hated it. It sounds like a grandma, an air freshener, but of the kind that smells very synthetic of roses. I’ll be gifting it. I thought I could hit the price-quality mark 👎

  • I consider it a somewhat bland fragrance. It has a citrus opening that lasts seconds before giving way to the flowers, especially roses and cherry blossom; the problem is that if at least these flowers (which I usually like a lot) appeared overwhelming and sparkling, it would be an ode to pink and femininity, but unfortunately, they feel washed out or watered down. On my skin, it lasts about 2-3 hours with a very poor trail. Its value in my country is moderate; you can find many more interesting options for the same price. It’s timeless and pleasant but doesn’t generate anything interesting for me. A pity because I expected much more from it.

Cabotine Rose is a simple perfume, not simple. It retains the air of its older sister, Cabotine by Gres. On my skin, it stands out as a very soft rose with sweet fruity touches. It’s a pleasant and clean aroma that can please everyone. It conveys innocence, candor, and tenderness. Ideal for a little girl or a young lady, and a clean, morning scent for a woman. Its longevity is quite moderate. Excellent price, not exceeding 10-12 euros. P.S.: Almost a year after writing this review, I must say that its delicacy has ended up conquering me, and it feels like a very desirable aroma to carry at any time.

  • It’s a wonderful EDT that, even though it’s floral, stands out as a champion in cold seasons. I’m lucky that on my skin it lasts more than four hours, and it’s one of those perfumes that give you a boost of joy!!!!

One of those days when you wake up in a bad mood. Yes, those days where you barely open your eyes and know that hell is the other person, because the problems weren’t generated by you but you’ll have to solve them and swallow more than one frog. You ruminate on the negativity of the world and banish that ideal of spiritual perfection so typical of the hypocrisy of the new millennium. You walk to work cursing the rain, the pothole in the road, the noise of cars, the wind, the distances, your clothes, and how narrow the sidewalk is when you see someone approaching in the distance, and even yielding the way bothers you, but this time it’s different because not only do they yield, but they do so with an open, sincere smile and a young girl’s voice, addressing you as ‘sir’ while offering a paper towel to dry the water drops from your glasses. It happened to me this morning. With the balloon of bad vibes deflated and my armor thrown on the street, next to the trash container, I started thinking about the appropriate fragrance for that moment – for the young lady – and Cabotine Rose came to mind. Yes, I know it sounds very weird, nerdy, childish, or whatever, but I tend to do these imagination exercises that, when viewed properly, don’t bother anyone and aren’t worse than walking through life glued to the phone. I said that the fragrance in question seemed appropriate for the moment, the young lady, and my new state of mind. Cabotine Rose isn’t a groundbreaking fragrance nor the quintessence of exquisiteness, but it has nothing to envy anyone. It’s subtle, perhaps a bit ephemeral, but in no way bad in relation to the price. I quite like the opening with a very short step toward the floral development that, without being invasive, presents itself calmly, simply (not simple as someone already said), and above all cheerful. The rose is perceived but very well nuanced by white flowers that I can’t identify one by one but also don’t find relevant. Overall, it’s youthful and designed for personal delight or intimate moments where tenderness takes precedence (I think). Obviously, there will be those who know how to use it at any time and place. Anyway, with seemingly little, one can win over life and its setbacks.

  • A very feminine, pretty, clean, and slightly soapy perfume, without pretensions. Here, the rose is gorgeous, ideal for everyday wear to feel very clean and fresh.

Bad mood days, yes. You wake up thinking hell is other people, because problems weren’t created by you but you’ll have to solve them and swallow a lot of frogs. You ruminate on the world’s negativity and send that hypocritical spiritual perfection of the new millennium to the devil. You walk to work cursing the rain, the pothole on the road, the car noise, the wind, the distances, your clothes, and how narrow the sidewalk is when you see someone, even to the point of being annoyed they won’t yield, but this time it’s different: not only do they yield, but they do so with an open, sincere smile and a young girl’s voice addressing you as ‘ma’am’ while offering you a handkerchief to dry your glasses. It happened to me this morning. With my bad vibe deflated and my armor discarded on the street by the dumpster, I thought of the perfect perfume for that moment and that girl, and Cabotine Rose came to mind. Yes, it sounds weird, nerdy, or childish, but I usually do these imagination exercises that don’t bother anyone and are better than staring at my phone. The fragrance felt right for the moment, the girl, and my renewed mood. Cabotine Rose isn’t groundbreaking or the essence of exquisiteness, but it has nothing to envy. It’s subtle, maybe a bit fleeting, but nothing bad for the price. I like the opening with a short step into a calm, simple floral development (not simple, as someone said), and above all, cheerful. The rose is very noticeable, well-blended with white flowers I don’t recognize all of, but it doesn’t matter. Overall, it’s youthful and designed for personal delight or intimate moments where tenderness takes precedence. Obviously, someone who knows how to wear it can take it anywhere. Anyway, with seemingly little, one can win over life and its setbacks.

  • A very feminine, pretty, clean, slightly soapy, unpretentious perfume. Here the rose is very beautiful. Ideal for everyday life to feel very clean and fresh.

  • I’ve noticed that in some perfumes blackcurrant has an ink tone; this is the case. Upon opening, there’s a lot of alcohol, but after about 20 seconds, the fragrance starts to take shape. It stays green, with stems and something citrusy, and a very subtle rose in the background. As it dries down, the rose becomes more noticeable, but it’s a rose with stems because it never loses that green citrus tone, always accompanied by cherry blossom until the end. I think the only thing that makes me like it is that in the dry-down it reminds me of the Johnson’s Little Women cologne I used as a girl; yes, it has that vintage touch but fresh, which is why it’s worn without smelling totally old-fashioned. The cherry blossom, just like in the BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom body mist that smells like a grandma, a part of its short evolution also reminds me of Happy Clinique (which I like), but if you didn’t like that, you definitely won’t like Cabotine Rose. I’m still not sure about the trail, but on my skin it lasted over 10 hours, which surprised me since it’s an EDT. I wouldn’t wear it at night; it’s for mornings and afternoons. I paid $14 for 50 ml, so I don’t think it’s a bad purchase. These are first impressions; I think they can improve; green or citrus perfumes need a couple of months of maceration to reveal their true aroma, I’ll update later 🙂

  • It’s very pretty. I feel it’s intimate, delicate, feminine, clean, fresh, and versatile. I think it’s great for feeling clean after a shower, for the office, all year round but especially in spring and summer during the day. It suits women of any age: from a very young girl with that innocent floral vibe, to a young office woman in casual, relaxed clothes, or an older woman, a loving mother, or a tender grandmother. It doesn’t leave a striking trail; it’s more intimate and noticeable only when very close or during a hug, so it’s definitely for daily use. I used it when I was young, gave it to my mother years ago, and we want to buy it again for the nice memories; both of us love florals. On the other hand, the price is incredible, around ten dollars. The downside is the longevity; it’s not long-lasting, but at that price, you can just reapply and enjoy it without guilt. Recommended for blind buys if you like cute florals: the rose dominates, but it’s a young, fresh rose of pale pink buds (not a mature, almost incense-like red rose), peony, a touch of jasmine, a bit of pear, and a musk base that gives that clean, shampoo-like sensation.

  • What a beautiful perfume. It feels intimate, delicate, feminine, clean, fresh, and versatile. Perfect for feeling fresh post-shower, for the office, all year round but especially spring and summer during the day. It suits any age: from a girl with innocent flowers to a young casual office lady or a loving mother/grandmother. It doesn’t leave a striking trail; it’s intimate, noticeable only when close or hugging, ideal for daily wear. I used it when I was young, gifted it to my mother years ago, and we want to buy it again for the memories; both of us love florals. The price is incredible, around $10. The downside is the longevity; it’s not long-lasting, but at that price, you just reapply and enjoy it without guilt. Recommended for blind buys if you like pretty florals: it features a young, fresh pale-button rose (not a mature red rose almost smelling of incense), peony, a hint of jasmine, a touch of pear, and a musk base that feels clean like shampoo 🌷😌

  • Cabotine Rose brings back a vivid childhood memory: Shampoochie, a pink plush dog you could bathe in its tub with its own bubble soap. The shampoo note reminds me of that toy I loved so much, even though my real dog eventually ate it. Even the pink plastic cap bottle evokes Barbie toys. Curiously, sometimes I get a scent of white cardboard… but it remains pleasant to me. It’s a special perfume for the nostalgia it awakens.

Smells like young, sweet florals and is very affordable. I think it suits an adult or older woman better. On my skin, the rose, cherry blossom, and peony stand out. It’s fresh and sweet, perfect for right after a shower to smell good for a while, though it doesn’t last long and leaves a soft trail.
