Smells strong but not annoying. Forget the leather, earthy, or animal notes that Fragrantica criticates so much—what nonsense! Hugo Boss’s website promises positive energy with apple and plum, Arabian jasmine, and a base of wood and vanilla. Perfect for cold weather to enjoy it to the full. The longevity is good, which is rare for them, and although it doesn’t evolve much, you instantly know if you’ll love it. It didn’t fully conquer me, but if you like The Only One, Can’t Stop Loving You, or BR540 Extrait, this one will suit you. Note: it doesn’t smell like the GG suggests, nor is it powdery.

It also smells like red berries to me, even though they’re not listed. The leather isn’t bothersome, and the jasmine stays in the background behind the strawberry, which smells like super sweet syrup. I love it. Nowhere near earthy or animalic; it’s very wearable for a young girl. I’d buy it if I find it cheap. Seriously… where did Fragrantica get that pyramid? For naaaaught 😆

I arrived with lots of negative reviews and predisposed to hate it, but I’ve really liked it. To me, Alive Parfum starts citrusy, moves to red berries with jasmine, and closes with a woody and vanilla base. The blend is very sweet; the red berries seem like jam, and in the end, it’s vanilla with wood. It has notable projection for the first two hours and moderate after that, skin-close starting from the fourth or fifth hour. On my skin, it lasts about 7-8 hours. If I find it at a good price, I’ll grab 30 ml; it’s worth it. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 7.5/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value 7/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy again? Probably.
