Black Vanilla stands out for its elegance with an excellent and sober vanilla, nothing cloying. It starts with a clean, fruity opening, covers the floral heart (which goes unnoticed unless you let it settle a bit), and manifests in the velvety base with an interesting musk. It will serve you for 7/8 hours: projects to 1 meter for the first hour, to 50cm the next, and then to 15cm. I consider it totally unisex, ideal for cool or cold weather, thanks to that vanilla with a discreet flower that avoids the typical sweetness. I always recommend testing niche perfumes on skin before buying.

Currently testing a decant and I absolutely loved it. I was a bit bored with sweet scents and was craving a vanilla. What a rich aroma, plus the violet is noticeable, a flower I adore. I felt it similar to La Nuit Tresor a la Folie, but I like this one more for being semi-powdery. Very sexy-romantic. Fantastic longevity, not strident; the scent lasts until the bath. I’m definitely getting the bottle.

It’s not a gourmand vanilla; it’s elegant, clean, and slightly talc-like with a subtle violet and that fresh touch of fruit. I love it—I’m becoming more and more of a Mancera fan.

Mixing the waxy concept of Chanel No. 5 with the cookie-drydown vanilla of Chocolate Greedy? That’s it. The opening is dense, elegant, and super feminine with a very prominent peach. The drydown is another world: that pastry sensation, like there’s something smoky and sandy to it that reminds me of a cookie, but here with a very lively rose. An interesting perfume that feels familiar until it takes a beautiful turn. In my opinion, purely feminine.

I didn’t like it and I’m sorry, I wanted to. In my search for a 100% vanilla and sweet fragrance (like Victoria’s Secret’s Bare Vanilla but in a perfume), I found this. They recommended it to me on Facebook, and I ordered it blindly. It smells like vanilla in the bottle, but on the skin, as it dries down, it’s soapy and powdery, a lot. It smells too much like baby wipes. I gave it several chances, and every time I ended up nauseous washing it off. It’s not a bad fragrance; it’s well-made and has good performance, so many will surely like it, but definitely, soap and talcum aromas are not for me. What a pity, it will have to leave my collection.

The best of Mancera; the little vanilla is divine and the ingredients show excellent quality. Although it’s categorized as ‘unisex,’ I feel it’s much more feminine, but I still love it.

Lately, I’ve been discovering incredible fragrances, and this is one of the best: a vanilla that opens up super creamy, sweet, with a slightly oily touch. It’s so warm and embracing that I detect notes of coconut, peach, and violets on the skin, wrapping me up like a beautiful dream. As it dries down, it gains a soapy white musk and a masculine touch that feels very sexy on me. It has moderate sillage, nothing intrusive, and lasts about 7 hours. I bought the 60ml because the larger size wasn’t available, but I’m already looking for it since I still haven’t gotten tired of it. It’s perfect for bathing and hugging whoever you want.❤️

It’s a very rich perfume, good quality, and long-lasting. However, I see it as more of a women’s scent; on a woman, it would be exquisite. For me, the vanilla and peach dominate; it’s a creamy and sweet fragrance. Try it before buying.
