Today I bought several Avon products and received a sample of this perfume along with Attraction One Intense. Regarding this white scent, right when I first applied it to my skin (the sample doesn’t have a sprayer), I felt it was very feminine and sweet. But as it dried down, it became more unisex, felt slightly woody, and the sweetness faded; I assume that’s the cedar they mention. However, due to its sweetness, I still feel it’s unisex leaning feminine. On my skin, a fresh citrus note stands out (maybe lime and orange), adding something very sweet (they say it’s tonka bean), but honestly, I initially smelled coconut, even though it’s not listed; that’s the note I loved at first, and I think it has a similar scent. I love tonka bean too (similar to vanilla) and I believe that’s what gives it that sweetness. I like it, but I’m hesitant to buy it because I prefer intense feminine scents, especially in autumn-winter like now in Argentina. I feel it will appeal greatly to women seeking a fresh, spring/summer unisex scent (though it works year-round) and to men who like sweet scents, although on me it works better on a woman’s skin. It’s rich, wearable, fresh, and clean. I think it wouldn’t fail for those who like unisex, fresh, clean scents with a rich blend of sweet and woody notes; it could be a blind buy. Now, if you don’t like unisex scents, better to test it on your skin first.

I just tried a sample my Avon reseller gave me, and as soon as I smelled it from the bottle, it sounded familiar—I didn’t know what it resembled, but I knew I’d smelled it before. After an hour on my skin, it started to resemble something more, and I remembered. For those who know Coty’s Pret-a-porter, this is very similar, although Coty’s has less longevity and complexity in my opinion. The Avon version evolves from citrus to soapy, woody, and clean. Elegant and soft, very versatile. Although it doesn’t seem fresh, it’s quite warm. I don’t find any resemblance to the original Attraction, which used to make my stomach turn due to some notes I can’t quite pinpoint in a single perfume.

Right after spraying, it reminded me of Viva by Fergie from Avon. I checked the notes and they don’t share any, though they have similarities with Viva Attraction O/F: Lavender, Violet, Bergamot, Lime, Cedar, Vetiver, and woody notes. It’s citrusy, floral, and aquatic. I agree it’s unisex, but it leans more feminine due to the orange blossom. The wood is very prominent. It hits me really hard with just one spray, giving me a headache.

At first, it reminded me of Fergie’s Viva, also from Avon. I looked up the notes and they share nothing, though they do have similarities to Viva Attraction O/F (lavender, violet, bergamot, lime, cedar, vetiver). It’s citrusy, floral, and watery. I agree it’s unisex, but it leans more feminine due to the orange blossom. The wood note is very present. It hits me hard with just one spray, giving me a headache.

This scent caught me off guard: it sits right in the same family as Lalique White and Kenzo Power. It’s a super clean, refreshing white floral with a very pronounced aquatic touch. It’s a shame they stopped selling it, but I managed to grab several backups and I’m thrilled. It’s my go-to for hot days; it works for any occasion, whether walking, hitting the gym, heading to work, or whatever. Great job, Avon.

After giving it another chance, I must say it’s a comforting and warm scent without losing its fresh and youthful character. It’s true, it opens with sweet fig notes mixed with citrus. At first, it seemed like an old lady’s scent (no offense), but after giving it another chance, I could appreciate this lovely gem.
