It’s one of the ugliest perfumes I’ve ever tried. I don’t get the hype; it smells like public bathroom deodorant.

If Musk brought this, well done, by the way. You is exactly that, but the perfume’s soul, with pink pepper really standing out. I don’t see the ’90s vibe people talk about, maybe it’s the pepper giving that idea; back then, perfumes were spicier and more animalic. Some people also smell paper, notebooks, or even ink, which is a bit abstract but necessary to describe something similar. For me, this is subtly accentuated makeup with a kick of pepper, giving a flirty touch to that cleanliness, a wink, something naughty and spicy, yet very abstract or minimalist that will make innocent noses go ‘what is that?’ and think for a few extra seconds. It also has that something I only find in L’Imperatrice and here, some unlisted chemical note I can’t explain but find totally addictive; it’s refreshing or solar, making you smile and lift your mood without being ‘cheerful,’ it’s chemical. Finally, it’s very lightly sweet (which I find charming) but not sugary, ethereal, subliminal, and definitely not gourmand. 🌬️✨

It’s a scent of its own, but you have to give it time: at first, it smells like nothing; you have to let it settle. After a few minutes, it’s 50% Juliette Has a Gun and 50% Nina Ricci Ricci. On my skin, it’s sweet and intimate, as if you just took a shower with purple flower soap; smelling your skin feels clean, milky, and like fresh towels from the dryer. I don’t like the Juliette one because it feels incomplete, it doesn’t smell like a perfume as its name suggests, but this You smells like its complement, less synthetic. It’s one of those perfumes where if you smell it on someone else, you’re left wondering what it could be; it has something mysterious and sensual.

I’ve smelled it firsthand on two or three girls throughout my still young adult life; the last time I smelled it was in an intimate setting and I couldn’t resist asking what that fine, delicate, clean aroma was. I don’t know, maybe it’s also a nostalgic factor since I’m the youngest of my family with three older sisters, and I remember hearing something like this in my childhood or adolescence; I find a very vintage touch, perhaps from the eras that remind me of boybands like Five, Westlife, or even NSYNC, which my sisters were obsessed with and wore or used perfume with. I can easily compare it to an ultra-delicate iris soap bar, which for me denotes natural feminine beauty at its full splendor without being loud or overwhelming like some very loud or invasive trends of the last era. This is my fourth review of a supposedly feminine perfume, although the site says it’s totally unisex and I believe it even more today; it could easily be compared to a slightly cheaper fragrance from lines like Dior for men that are based on that slightly more marked iris. Honestly, I’m a total fanboy of this scent in a lady.

When I applied it, I thought it was herbal, then raspberry and subtle, evolving into an herbal iris with a sweet touch that makes me feel elegant. It’s sophisticated, has sillage but little trail, very intimate, and recommended. It has that 90s air that I like.

I expected a soft talc-like fragrance and found something that smells extremely masculine on my skin. I sense a dirty, strong, heavy iris. Ugh, the opening didn’t like it at all. In the dry-down, it’s softer, something like Prada Infusion d’Iris, very similar. But it doesn’t say anything special to me.

I went to Sephora, tested it on my wrist, liked it but didn’t love it, and kept wanting it. Six months later, I went back to the store, tested it again, and liked it, so I bought it. WOW! It’s not the same as a little spritz; you have to apply it well and feel it all day. It lasted my entire workday, and my coworkers said it smelled great. It’s soft, clean, a ‘natural’ aroma; it doesn’t smell like anything specific but smells good. I recommend it for those days when you want to feel clean and leave a good scent on others.

The Delicacy scent is ethereal and fine. To me, it smells totally of musk, so delicate it’s like a second skin. It smells clean, like you just showered with a fine iris soap and are left with a powdery touch. It’s beautiful. But for me, it doesn’t work because its sillage is personal and sometimes disappears completely until a movement or a breeze brings it back. I prefer stronger perfumes and feeling them all the time. I recommend it for those seeking soft scents or who don’t want anything ostentatious.

My friend has it, and I love it. It’s a very indescribable scent, but I’m sure most people will like it. The only downside is that there’s very little product in the bottle…

It’s my first blind buy of a molecular perfume, and it was worth it. It smells slightly chlorinated water, iris, and musk, all very subtle. It’s zero-invasive but leaves a mark; sometimes it seems like it doesn’t smell like anything, then it reappears hours later—very curious. I recommend it to iris and musk fans; it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a skin scent, but beautiful.

Powdery and watery at the same time. It’s a clean, soft, unisex aroma. Projection is very low; I only smell it close to the skin even right after applying. I don’t detect the floral note; for me, it’s more powdery than anything. I’ve tested it several times at Sephora and think I would buy it. I got the chance to buy a Glossier You and did it without thinking about pros or cons. I blame TikTok for the hype. Now I have it, and I feel ‘influenced’. It’s supposed to be that perfume that ‘smells like you’, molecular, clean, and with low projection. Their website says it opens with pink pepper and has ambrette and white flowers. My experience has been an adventure. Definitely not usual. My first impression was: ‘I’ve heard this scent before’ followed by a cascade of memories from my swimming classes. To me, it smells like the concept of water, a bright, blue, clean place, a liminal space. I perceive the chlorine from pools, the steam from an iron, or the smell of the laundry room at home with cold outside and heat inside. It’s very strange! My sister tried it and smelled lettuce with iodine; my mom said dried potpourri and shampoo. All these images fit within the semantic field of ‘water’. Places with lots of water, bathrooms, cleaning, hydroponic vegetables… Then I wonder if it smells like water to me because I’m a Pisces. I can smell the musk and the pink pepper at first, but the notes don’t help unravel the mystery. It’s not a scent I dislike, but it depends on your memories. Perfume is always evocative! It also doesn’t resemble Santal 33 or Ariana Grande perfumes. I don’t perceive flowers; it’s more watery than anything. The longevity is good; although designed without sillage, it lasts me over 10 hours. I feel clean and accompanied. Super versatile, definitely a signature scent. Maybe I should allow it to form new memories to like it more, but overall, it’s not a bad perfume, just peculiar. I do widely recommend testing on skin before buying. Edit: I’ve miserably fallen into its claws. I’m obsessed. It’s beautiful.
