  • Very good. At first it seems strong, but then it finds an exquisite balance. You can smell the oud, the roses, and vanilla in the background. By God, it’s addictive, a work of art. Totally recommended for refined gentlemen and special occasions.

  • It’s very good; it may seem strong at first, but then a balance between its notes arrives and it’s exquisite. You can feel the oud and roses, with vanilla in the background. By God, it’s addictive, a perfume masterpiece. Totally recommended for refined gentlemen and very special occasions.

  • A masterpiece. Exquisite with the oud very present. If you love this type of fragrance, you must try it; it’s incredible. Along with Myrrhe Imperiale, they are the best in the Privée line.

  • Good perfume, smells nice. The opening reminds me of Mugler’s A Man, but evolves differently: a soft rose note, not feminine, slightly sweet and vanilla-like. Seems more masculine. Longevity and projection are moderate. It’s okay, but I wouldn’t pay the price they ask, whether niche or not, unless you have extra cash. Rating: 8.

  • One of my favorites, recommended for rose lovers. This beautiful, enigmatic, and sensual fragrance full of mystery. Rose d’Arabie opens with a digestible oud and a duo of roses slightly talc-like with saffron support. As the composition moves toward its heart, the rose grows in intensity while the oud recedes slowly, gradually replaced by patchouli. Projection is excellent and longevity is outstanding, over 12 hours on skin. A unisex fragrance with impeccable quality. Highly recommended for gala nights, weddings, parties, or simply if you want to shine.

  • One of my favorites: an enigmatic and sensual jewel for rose lovers. Opens with a digestible oud and a duo of roses with a touch of talc and saffron. In the heart, the rose blooms as the oud yields to patchouli. Excellent projection and beastly longevity, over 12 hours on skin. Unisex and of impeccable quality. Ideal for galas, weddings, parties, or simply to turn heads.

  • It’s the king of the Armani Privée collection. If you like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, this is another level: a dark rose with a brutal opening that lasts half an hour at full blast before releasing a subtle oud, patchouli, and vanilla in perfect balance. It’s not for every rose lover or anyone seeking something fresh and red; it’s a black rose, woody, and unisex, though with more masculine nuances. If you smell it on a woman, you’ll love it. The trail is huge (over 2 meters) and longevity on skin exceeds 8-10 hours, permanently staining clothes. Fabulous and one of my favorites.

  • Men have always been attracted to floral scents, especially roses. Armani’s Rose d’Arabie presents a dark, brooding, and powerful rose. It has good projection and sillage, with something pulsating and alive within its darkness. It tastes like a promise, sin, and perhaps regret. Upon spraying, it emerges intensely like a drop of blood slowly oozing from a provocative wound. It’s intriguing and unsettling, like exploring a dark room in an old mansion by candlelight. It’s a fascinating and mysterious perfume that I requested to test thanks to Toni_300, and in my humble opinion, it turns out to be one of the most beautiful oriental fragrances from the Armani house.

  • Rose d’Arabie features rose as the star accompanied by oud. Imagine a pomegranate-red, large, luxurious rose with velvet petals and a robust stem. Powerful opening, spicy (perhaps saffron) and slightly ‘fresh’. The first 5 minutes smell synthetic, but then the magic happens. The rose is achieved, always accompanied by an elegant oud in perfect symbiosis. Although it’s oriental, it’s not cloying; it even has a slight acidic touch (perhaps patchouli). I don’t detect vanilla on skin. It’s elegant, long-lasting, enigmatic, and sensual. It could be someone’s signature scent that people remember. Intense but versatile (except in extreme heat). Totally unisex: I’m a woman and I love it; on a man, it would be dangerous. High projection for 3-4 hours, then moderate. Lasts 13 hours with two sprays. In summary: high projection and longevity unisex floral oriental. In love. On my skin, it’s a masterpiece. This is what I expected from Oud Bouquet (sorry, Lancôme, I’m sticking with Armani).

  • Rose d’Arabie features the rose as the protagonist accompanied by oud. I imagine a dark red, almost burgundy, large and luxurious rose with velvety petals. The opening is potent, spiced, and slightly ‘fresh.’ The first five minutes smell synthetic, but it disappears quickly and the magic begins. The rose is very well done and is accompanied by an elegant oud in a perfect symbiosis. I love it because although it’s oriental, it’s not too sweet; it even has a certain acidic note sometimes. On my skin, I don’t detect the vanilla. It’s elegant, long-lasting, enigmatic, and sensual—the kind of perfume people remember. Although it’s intense, I think it can be worn all year (except on very hot days). Totally unisex: I’m a woman and I love it, but on a man, this could be dangerous. Projection and sillage are high for the first 3-4 hours, then drop to moderate. Longevity is excellent; I still smell it close to the skin 13 hours after two sprays. This type of aroma wins with ‘less is more.’ In summary: a high-projecting, long-lasting unisex oriental floral fragrance. On me, it smells like a masterpiece.

  • Anairamis

The classic rose-oud combo blended with mastery, elegant and captivating. It’s not the best rose-oud blend I’ve tried, but it’s very good: dense, with 1.5 to 2-meter projection without being overwhelming, gently taking over spaces. Lasts a long time on skin and even longer on clothes. The rose is mature, the oud elegant and wearable, though it lacks a bit of brightness; it’s dense and dark, not very youthful. In my opinion, it suits men better, although it’s unisex but feels like something is missing or too much. I prefer Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet: same combo but caramelized, bright, and lively.

  • Anairamis

A masterfully and elegantly blended classic rose and oud combo. It’s not the best rose-oud combination I’ve tried, but it’s very good: dense, with a projection of 1.5 to 2 meters that doesn’t overwhelm but gently claims the space. It lasts a long time on skin and even longer on clothes. The rose is very mature and the oud is elegant and wearable, but it lacks a bit of brightness; it’s dense and dark, making it less cheerful. In my opinion, it would be appreciated more on a man, though it’s not very masculine—it’s unisex. I feel like something is missing or too much. I’d stick with Oud Bouquet by Lancôme, the same combo but caramelized, with a bright and lively tone that I prefer.

  • Armani Privé Rose d’Arabie combines the luxury of Giorgio Armani with oud wood, a tribute to Arabia. It’s an exquisite, sophisticated, and pricey fragrance. It opens with a sweet oriental rose that transports you to distant paradises, paired with oud, saffron, vanilla, and patchouli. It’s a perfect balance of strength, voluptuousness, and seduction. The rose is juicy and sensual, but the oud balances it so it’s not too feminine; any man can wear it. It’s romantic and sensual, with an incredible dry-down and longevity lasting many hours. The patchouli and amber are present but not very prominent. If you’re looking for something refined, romantic, and intriguing, this is worth every penny.

  • I don’t smell any roses in this perfume at all. At first, I just notice an aromatic woody scent with fresh minty notes. I’ve smelled many rose-oud combos and always recognize the oud, but here it’s very different: a fine, velvety wood. It’s a pity I bought it expecting to smell roses; they’re way too hidden. In the dry-down, I do perceive a rich, sweet vanilla aroma, but zero roses.

  • I was really looking forward to this fragrance, but it left me a bit underwhelmed. The opening smells like bazaar-style Arabic room sprays with golden caps. Although Armani’s quality is superior, that Arabic nuance is something I’ve heard to death. The rose shifts from being bathed in smoky patchouli to becoming vanilla-scented over time. I expected something more bold and rose-forward, less smoke and more special. Both Rose d’Arabie and Oud Royal have an oud that feels more like incense to me, but they’re still wonderful proposals.

  • whisper_of_love

Not much to add: it’s a potent rose-oud with good longevity. I still haven’t fully warmed up to oud, but the combination is solid.

  • At first, it reminds me of their men’s fragrances, but with the femininity of the rose. Over time, it keeps its intensity while the woody and rose notes evolve, leaving a powerful and elegant trail. For me, it still has that masculine touch without losing its sex appeal.

  • It’s a rich perfume, it doesn’t quite suit me, I don’t know if I love it or hate it. It’s strong, projects a lot, and lasts a lot. The oud and wood notes should give it a masculine touch, but I don’t find them very easy; the rose is so strong and present that you have to wait several hours to notice the evolution of the notes. Although it’s unisex, I find it purely feminine; according to my girlfriend, when I wear it, I smell like an ultra-right-wing lady, haha.

  • Avalon1224

The rose and oud blend is exquisite and works perfectly here; I see it as neutral unisex. It has excellent projection and longevity, exactly what you need to project confidence and leave a great impression.

  • Rich and powerful, it projects a lot and lasts all day. The wood and oud notes should make it more masculine, but the rose is so dominant that it takes hours to evolve. Even though it’s unisex, my girlfriend says it smells like a far-right lady, so I see it as purely feminine.
