  • An ode to varied roses where I can’t distinguish individual types, but I notice a mix of freshness, creaminess, and density. It’s a challenge for the nose: it smells like roses, but which ones? Only a true rose lover willing to follow its long evolution will get it. Key notes: rose, cinnamon, violets, honey, tonka bean, and sandalwood. High projection that floods the room; ideal for outdoors or cold climates.

It’s a perfume with lots of rose, but honestly, the roses don’t differentiate. What you can expect is a supremely powdery rose, so if you don’t like powdery scents, don’t even think about buying this fragrance.

  • Marvelous! Roses and 🌹 from start to finish. The cedar, pink pepper, and sandalwood feel exquisite. You can also detect the mandarin, and the orange blossom is present. Sillage and longevity are incredible. Happy with this ‘love’!!!

I bought it blind; I read it was intense, and yes, I think it is. At first, I didn’t like it; it has a prominent opening and a very strong note that frankly disgusted me, as I prefer more delicate aromas. But once it dried down, it softened, becoming an exquisite rose and sandalwood scent on my skin. I was pleased with this evocative and mysterious smell. The red color fits perfectly with its character. Longevity and projection are excellent, and the packaging is very beautiful.

  • To me, it smells mature and vintage, as others say—a powerful blend of various roses. It’s ideal for night or winter with excellent longevity. It’s not for me, but it’s a very good perfume.

  • A perfume with a mature and vintage scent, as the comments say: it smells of roses, various types of roses. It’s very potent, so I feel it’s better for night or winter. It has excellent longevity. It’s not for me, but it’s a very good perfume.

  • What predominates in my perfumes is the rose: I have some fresh, dry macerated liqueur-like, sweet, or synthetic ones, but in the end, I found the one I was looking for: fragrantly velvety, pure, just as the red flower itself. It carries a honeyed background on truly elegant woods where there are no other protagonists, standing out front without causing offense. It reminds me of my beloved Rose Oud by YSL, Evening Rose by Aerin Lauder, among others… but mainly my treasures: some rose essence decants I bought at an exhibition at the Bulgarian embassy.

  • Very good! If I had tried it without knowing, I would have sworn it was Alexander McQueen’s Rose Oud that I have in my collection. Once I tried them together, you start to notice the differences, but they are very similar; I can’t believe the Chopard one doesn’t contain oud, but it doesn’t matter—I like it just the same. If you already own one, you don’t need the other. It becomes easier to wear if you’re not an oud fanatic or find it too sharp. In summary, it’s a very distinct rose scent, musky and super sweet, which barely tastes sweet when dried on skin, elegant and full of character. I don’t think it’s good for gifting unless you’re sure the recipient likes that combination. Sillage and longevity are moderate on my skin.

It arrives with a vintage touch and sweet roses, but then settles into a warm, spiced rose with notes of cinnamon, honey, and cocoa over a powdery white floral base. It’s linear, with moderate sillage and typical EDT longevity despite being an EDP (a common trait in Chopard). I agree with @ICL: it strongly reminds me of Rose Oud; they’re different but easily confused. Rose Oud is bolder, while Chopard Love is more classic, and both are delicious.

A slightly vintage opening of sweet, powdery rose, then it settles into a fragrant, warm, and softly spiced rose aroma (you can detect cinnamon, honey, and hints of cocoa) with a powdery base of white flowers. It’s linear, with moderate sillage and EDT-level longevity despite being an EDP (this happens sometimes with Chopard). I agree with @ICL about the similarity to Rose Oud, though they are different and easily confused. Rose Oud is bolder, while Chopard Love is more classic; both are delicious.

For those who love roses. It starts with a very powdery, vintage rose that is joined by the rest. It’s very elegant, with classic undertones, lasts almost all day, and its dry-down is beautifully rosy.

  • Dama Incognita

A delicious floral scent, sweet and powdery. On my skin, it smells like fine roses mixed with cocoa powder and cinnamon (it reminds me of Nesquik but with lots of roses added).

  • It’s a different and surprising perfume at first. It smells of heavily talcum-powdered and spiced roses with a sweet yet dry backdrop—nothing cloying. It’s not youthful; it’s serious, dark, and personality-packed, so it won’t go unnoticed. If you’re looking to stay under the radar, forget about wearing it… hehe.

  • It’s a distinct and, at first, impactful perfume. It smells like fresh roses, abundant and powdery, with a spicy touch over a sweet yet dry base—nothing cloying. It’s not for young people; it’s serious, dark, characterful, and attention-grabbing. If you want to go unnoticed, forget putting this on… hehe.

Chopard is known for high-end jewelry, but they also make perfumes. For fans of rose perfumes like ‘Love’, this could be a different option. Master Morillas blended seven types of roses, but there’s something more mysterious in this bottle. The opening is herbal red roses with cinnamon, pink pepper, and violets. The first minutes are overwhelming, but don’t let it take you over. Then other roses with jasmine take the lead. When I thought there was no more evolution, wow! comes the best part: dark chocolate that does magic with sandalwood and patchouli. The base notes are sweet accords (honey, tonka bean, sugar, and vanilla), and what remains on the skin are spiced roses bathed in dark chocolate—not sweet, but coquettish and seductive. Master Morillas is a genius; I never would have imagined roses with chocolate and vanilla. For the first two hours, the trail is noticeable, then it fades. Longevity is 5 to 6 hours. It’s ideal for autumn, winter, and spring nights. These are very different roses from anything I’ve tried. I definitely recommend it for those who enjoy a non-conventional and interesting scent.

Oh, Morillas, you’re so great! I bought this fragrance blind because I adore roses and Morillas’ style. As a precaution, I only got 50 ml, since I’ve had enough disappointments with blind buys. I’d read it was masculine and sharp, but nothing like that. It’s a delight and a gem like its red, luxurious, and delicate bottle. It’s an ode to roses at their peak expression—not a powdery rose, but a dry one, where jasmine and orange blossom elevate it to an elegant expression. I don’t consider it warm or vanilla-heavy; barely noticeable, though I do detect sandalwood, cedar, and cocoa as a base to hold the composition, with roses as the star. It’s elegant, sophisticated, and one of my best recent purchases. It projects strongly and floods the room for about 2 hours, then suddenly softens to a skin scent, which I actually enjoy. I’m not a fan of overwhelming perfumes. I need to wear it more to see if it generates compliments; I got it recently and was fascinated. If you like elegant, refined roses, I doubt you’ll dislike it. But if you want to project for hours, maybe it’s not your fragrance.

  • MarinaEtoile

Oh, Morillas, what a hit! I bought it blindly due to my love for roses and your style, but with caution (only 50 ml after past disappointments). Totally fooled: it’s not masculine or sharp; it’s an elegant gem like its red bottle. It’s a dry, non-powdery rose that shines with jasmine and orange blossom. It’s not vanilla or warm; sandalwood, cedar, and cacao just support the star. Sophisticated and sober, it’s one of my best buys. Projects strongly for two hours, then settles to skin—exactly what I want without being overwhelming. Fascinated, but I need time to see if it generates compliments. If you’re looking for refined rose, you’ll love it; if you want hours of projection, maybe not.

Roses, roses, roses… and even more roses. This perfume opens with a very strong burst of many roses together, with soapy, talcum, and aldehyde nuances, so you have to be careful when spraying it; if you atomize too much, you risk it smelling like you just sprayed the bottle all over yourself. This explosion of roses lasts between half an hour and 45 minutes. Then, as it dries down, a dry rose with a soapy touch becomes more noticeable. Despite the initial intensity, it’s not especially long-lasting, though this depends on everyone and their skin’s pH.

  • Pure rose, but with a night-time vibe. I wore it a lot at winter parties and absolutely loved it, but I made the mistake of trying it in summer and got overwhelmed. It’s definitely a gem, but it needs to be worn in winter—not suitable for hot weather.

  • It combines the beauty of red roses with hints of red berries, creating something elegant and sensual without losing tenderness or naturalness. It’s a powerful, juicy, vibrant red rose. The real magic lies in the supporting cast: the cheerful, playful pink pepper. They work brilliantly together, and Chopard Love is proof of it. If you love penetrating rose scents or enjoyed red berry colognes, you’ll adore this.

  • Red rose with hints of red berries. It’s elegant and sensual without losing its tenderness. A bold rose, full of juice and color. The magic lies in the pink pepper, cheerful and playful. They work beautifully together. For noses that enjoy the potent aroma of roses and those who once loved fruity colognes, I think you’ll love this one.

  • I bought it recently. I don’t smell the roses, even though there are so many. It’s almost identical to Aerin’s Evening Rose.

  • It’s a long-lasting fragrance; I smell lots of rose with vanilla. It’s cozy and the longevity is good, about 4-6 hours in cold weather. In my country, it’s very cheap, so I’d buy it again.

  • Yeli parfum

It’s an overwhelming rush of roses that saturates me; underneath, you can detect cedar and white chocolate, but without any sweetness. It’s super floral. Personally, I’d love to catch all the notes, but I don’t. The good thing is I got the 30 ml bottle. Someone else might adore it, but for me, love doesn’t smell like this.
