Smells like that Parfum version today with that clean lavender touch. If you hooked on the original Code, you’ll love this. It smells great, but it lacks a bit of longevity, just like the modern EDT.
Incredible aroma, addictive, sweet but sophisticated, never cloying, always sober. Elegant and very soft, ideal for romantic dates or social gatherings where you don’t want to stand out but still leave a classy impression.

I bought the 50ml… the regular Armani Code they gifted me didn’t suit me much… I think this one can work for daily wear since the scent is fresh and turns woody afterward without bothering me. Longevity… just average for a normal eau de toilette on my skin, about two hours or so… I’d give this Armani Code A-list a 6.5.

It has the DNA of the original but lacks any sparkle right now… What’s going on, Armani? I admit I’m tired of this house releasing flankers for their icons instead of creating masterpieces. I’m already fed up with these launches and how they discontinued the only Acqua di Gio I liked (the Essenza) to release a mix of ‘Invictus with Acqua di Gio’ that is unbearable. But anyway, the Code A has an identical opening to the original, with a tonka bean base and woody dry down. Nothing original, and on top of that, overrated (presumably because it’s ‘new’). For Code fanatics who collect bottles, buy it; for those who admire Armani but seek perfumes with personality and not imitations, skip it—this fragrance has nothing new to offer.
Just tried this new Code, brutal quality and top-tier aroma. It feels more subtle and elegant than the original. It’s young and refined: starts with fantastic citrus, then drops into a sweet balsamic base. The lavender lifts it all and leads into woods, very sweet and delicate, where I think the tonka vanilla is the queen. Balsamic, talc-like, sweet, and woody dry down… A fragrance that surpasses the previous ones, full of style and class.
Tried this new Code, first-rate quality and aroma. More subtle and elegant than the original, with a youthful vibe. Opens with fantastic citrus and closes balsamic and sweet. Real lavender enhances everything and leads us to very sweet, delicate woods, where the tonka vanilla seems to be the star. I’ve tried all the Armani Code flankers, and this is definitely my favorite. It lacks that cloying sweetness that bothers me in the original. Otherwise, it’s masculine, creamy, and sparkly.
