It’s an innocent and subtle perfume, for a candid and tender young girl. For me, it’s the closest thing to Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fleur du Male, but more watery and without any masculine trace. It’s that sweet bergamot mixed with notes that don’t differentiate, probably hedione or ambroxan. The result is a cloud of lightness and beauty, like the smile of girls running through gardens.
It’s an innocent and subtle perfume, perfect for a candid, tender young woman. For me, it’s the closest thing to JPG’s Fleur du Male, but much softer and without any masculine trace. It’s that sweet orange blossom mixed with notes that blend seamlessly, probably hedione or ambroxan. The result is a cloud of lightness and beauty, like the smile of girls running through gardens.
Wow, this one I like. Lemon juice and white flowers; the neroli appears after 10 minutes with a bitter touch, then comes the musk that adds cleanliness while the lemon continues to brighten the mix. I loved the longevity; it’s already been 6 hours and it’s still there. Projection is moderate and very pleasant. I’d love to own it someday.
Wow! This one is a keeper. Smells like lemon juice and white flowers; the neroli kicks in at the 10-minute mark with a bitter touch, followed by musk that adds a clean vibe while the lemon keeps brightening the blend. I’m obsessed with the longevity—it’s already been 6 hours and it’s still there, with a moderate but very pleasant sillage. I’d love to own it one day.
Romano Ricci did a good job. It’s pleasant, fresh, synthetic, but with great harmony. It’s a unique fresh-citrus-musk on the market. It has a fresh, bubbly opening that moves into very pleasant jasmine and neroli. In the evolution, I notice a complex synthetic note never heard before, a result of Ricci’s talent for harmonizing ambroxan and musk to achieve an excellent ‘clean’ smell. Fixation is very good and projection is moderate. It’s wearable, daytime spirit, and unisex. Great for any occasion and heat. A ‘capricious clean’ fragrance, original, friendly, and with great performance. Good fragrance with a distinct aroma.
Romano Ricci did a great job with this fragrance. It’s pleasant, fresh, and synthetic yet harmonious—a fresh-citrus-musk combo that stands out in the market. It starts fresh and bubbly, then transitions into a lovely jasmine and neroli. In the dry down, I notice a complex, synthetic note I’ve never smelled before; it must be Ricci’s talent for blending ambroxan and musk to achieve an amazing ‘clean’ scent. The projection is excellent and the sillage is moderate. It’s wearable, daytime-appropriate, and unisex. Perfect for any occasion and warm weather. A ‘playful clean’ original with a kind character and great performance. A great fragrance with a distinct aroma.
Department stores sell a hairspray for around $350 pesos. My wife, a hairstylist and makeup artist, buys it for the business because it not only protects the hair but smells incredibly good and unique. Sometimes people ask if I’m wearing the spray since they catch that scent on me, but the truth is I’m wearing JHAG’s ‘Anyway’. Yes, they share something in the ambroxan note, which dominates the spray, but ‘Anyway’ is much more subtle and works beautifully with its citrus-floral-musk blend, finishing with a refined talc-like drydown that’s pure pleasure. When someone lingers to inhale your scent, you know you nailed it. Is smelling like hairspray worth it? For me, it’s one of my favorites; JHAG has refreshed the idea of ‘smelling good’. Quality: Double thumbs up! I wear it with jeans and short sleeves, perfect for very hot days. Ideal for any casual setting, even at home. Not for formal events or night out. The evolution is quick and gorgeous, lasting at least 7 hours and projecting a bit beyond the skin. No one will fall in love with you, but everyone will want to smell you and hold you for just one more second. Price: Convincing.
Stores sell a hairspray for 350 pesos. My wife, a hairstylist, uses it for her business because of its benefits and its pleasant, synthetic, yet different scent. Sometimes people ask if I’m wearing it because they smell that aroma on me, but what I’m wearing is Anyway by JHAG. They share the ambroxan note, which in the spray is the only note from start to finish. Anyway is more subtle, with a citrus-floral-musk concept and a refined powdery dry-down that’s a pleasure. When someone keeps inhaling your fragrance, you know you nailed it. Is smelling like hairspray worth it? For me, it’s a super favorite. JHAG has refreshed the phrase ‘smell right.’ Quality: double thumbs up. Outfit: jeans and short sleeves, perfect. Suitable for hot daytime climates. Where to wear it: informally, even at home. Where not to: formal or nighttime events. Quick and beautiful transition. Lasts at least 7 hours. Projects a bit beyond the skin. No one falls in love, but everyone will want to smell you and hug you. Price: convincing.
Over time, I’ve reconciled with it. It’s perfect for going to work; it conveys professionalism and goes unnoticed. It’s good when you don’t want to seduce or have people ask about your perfume. It’s a nothing that turns out to be something. It’s aseptic and neat, but I won’t repurchase because it doesn’t enchant me. Too synthetic, though it’s an option if you don’t want to smell like flowers or lemons early in the morning. Still, it’s boring and dull. Not worth the price.
I received a sample and fell in love instantly. It doesn’t smell like nature; it aims for an effect rather than a landscape. I detect a ‘spiced’ ambroxan, a nearly metallic sweetness, a soft and round neroli—neither creamy nor powdery—along with golden woods and a crystal amber, all held together by the ambroxan. It reminds me of the dry-down of One or Be by Calvin Klein. I love it. It’s neutral for days without drama or declarations, just for being at peace. Clean, not formal, crystal clear, almost contemplative. Perfectly unisex. With my stick sample, it lasts 10 hours. I’ll definitely add it to my collection.
I fell in love at first sniff with the sample. It doesn’t smell like natural ingredients; instead, it aims to recreate a landscape. I detect a spiced ambroxan with an almost metallic sweetness, paired with a soft, round neroli that’s neither creamy nor powdery, supported by golden woods and a crystal-clear amber, all anchored by the ambroxan. I haven’t seen anything like this in the voting lists. It brings me back to the dry-down of CK One or CK Be after several hours. I absolutely love it; it’s neutral for days without drama or passion, just for being at peace. Clean, not formal, crystal clear, tinkling, and almost contemplative. Perfect for unisex. I’m not sure about the projection with the swab sample, but it lasts about 10 hours on my skin. As soon as I can, I’ll add it to my collection. Without a doubt.
I bought it blind and it didn’t win me over like other Juliette Has A Gun scents. It’s a bit plain but pleasant. I rushed to finish it in the summer because I didn’t feel bad about using it up. Longevity and projection are low. I won’t repurchase.
The ambroxan is the strongest note, but it’s softened by a less prominent neroli and the sweetness of white flowers like jasmine. It’s fresh, more floral than citrus, as unisex as it is feminine, with moderate but noticeable projection and longevity. A clean scent that shines in the heat. Perfect for the office or daily wear. Nothing like Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza.
Citrus-floral unisex and summery, but I didn’t find it special enough to keep. Smells like white flowers, mainly softened neroli, with green lemon and a light ambroxan base. It’s refreshing and pleasant but very subtle for me. The trail is soft and lasts 3-4 hours on skin. For the price, there are options with better intensity and performance. I enjoy it more when the neroli is punchier. Scent 5/10, longevity 3.5/10, projection 4/10, value 3/10, versatility 3/10, packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? No.
A simple and lovely scent, perfect for tough days. It’s light and pleasant for wearing comfortably—soft and citrusy with a floral touch that barely shows on my skin, though I adore the ambroxan. Ideal for the office: no heavy trail and modest longevity. I like it just as is.
