It’s sweet with a distinct texture; the opening smells like sugared plastic, not exactly nail polish. It’s the doll perfume, the Barbie scent—fun, sweet, and playful. If you don’t like the smell of a ‘freshly boxed doll,’ you probably won’t like it entirely. I honestly love it; it’s a pleasant, perfect everyday aroma. Lasts about six to seven hours with good sillage.

  I love rare but wearable perfumes—ones that aren’t just an expensive experience but actually accompany you without scaring people away. I’m interested in thoughtfully applied industrial scents, like the gasoline in Fahrenheit, so when I saw ‘nail polish’ in the pyramid, I jumped to buy it. What a disappointment! It doesn’t smell chemical or vinyl; instead, it’s sugared raspberry with a touch of bitter almond from heliotrope. Maybe ‘nail polish’ is too generic and doesn’t define a specific scent. It’s not the friendly, weird perfume I expected, but something ordinary with terrible longevity. The price is unjustifiable.
