I tried it on a trip to Vienna these past August days, and honestly, it doesn’t add anything I haven’t already enjoyed in other Alien editions. This version feels drier, woodier, and spicier, but the jasmine shines so brightly that it reminds me too much of the Classic, to the point where it eclipses the notes that made Majestueux supposedly ‘groundbreaking’.

It took me a bit to find it, but the blend of Oud, jasmine, and amber leaves a warm, spicy skin with that powdery touch that makes me feel super cozy; I see it as very feminine, perfect for cold weather. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly, but the trail is beast-level and lasts over ten hours. Would I repurchase? At first, I hesitated. Update from May 13: I had it tucked away in the box, in the dark, for over three months, and yesterday I tried it again and it changed radically for the better. Now the seductive Oud takes the lead, it’s sweeter, more feminine, and less powdery—I’m obsessed! A total hit, I wear it in spring and love it. Would I repurchase? Yes, for sure. ☺️
