  • A bit disappointed. I don’t know if it’s due to a cold affecting my nose, but I smelled a strange texture. I expected an exuberant and radiant rose, but I detect a woody-animal-musky vibe that doesn’t match the notes. Short diffusion (like an interior perfume) was expected based on the reviews, and the longevity itself is decent. As a citrus lover, the opening is the best: fresh, though it doesn’t isolate each note well. Quickly, the rose enters, which is the main note. Beyond the violet (which can give a powdery touch) and the official website’s mention of musk and magnolia, I barely sense anything else apart from the rose and that undefined tone that doesn’t quite please me.

  • It’s a morning rose, freshly cut with dewdrops. It’s a hyper-realistic rose of high quality, good longevity, and medium sillage. It’s a Grasse and Damask rose accord that for inexperienced noses is an exquisite soliflore. If you love roses, it’s a must. However, if you’re looking for something more elaborate or intentional, despite its great quality, you might still be worth searching further.

  • The treatment of the roses 🌹 here is different from the classic pre-designed scent: pompous and made-up. Here, the rose is more real, physical, herbal, and natural. It’s drawn with fewer ornaments, allowing for a fresh scent. It’s like burying your nose in a garden rose. Everything is wrapped in that luminous white musk, the Kurkdjian signature found in fragrances like Petit Matin, Amyris, or Aqua. Another beautiful perfume from the artist.

IMPRESSIVE! Not much more to say: it’s a luxury rose water. It has little sillage but is persistent at close range and sticks around. Anyone who says it doesn’t last should try it again…

Very pretty! Very fresh! Very feminine! At the same time, it’s subtle and lacks extraordinary character. I had it in a batch I bought to resell. That’s why I have it, but I would never have spent a fortune on this perfume. I’ve spent money on others, yes, but never on this one.

  • A very elegant, natural rose, like freshly cut, nothing synthetic or artificially sweet. After an hour, it becomes a bit sweeter but remains natural. Honestly, it doesn’t seem surprising or original to me, and its performance on my skin is intimate and short: it fades by 6 hours and is gone by 8. For a luxury item, it falls short. Everyone has their pH and tastes, but you can try the ‘Mini Wardrobe’ for €35 with 8 fragrances and free shipping in Spain. EDIT: In spring, my opinion changed completely. Now I absolutely love it, even if it’s not essential. I love it, but I could live without it. If I had extra money or someone gifted it to me, I’d be happy. The performance still doesn’t convince me for this price, lasting only 5-6 hours.

I remember my grandmother’s rose cream from when I was a child; this smells identical. It’s not an old scent, but rather one that brings back those memories. It’s an elegant, fresh, natural rose wrapped in musk. It has no age, smells like a freshly cut bouquet, and is perfect to gift to any woman. 🩷
