  • I tried it just once, and if it weren’t for the brand’s high price, I would have bought it right there. It smells of flowers, spices, and wood; it’s very feminine and exudes maturity, but not the kind that comes with age, rather the maturity of a young girl. It’s one of the most luminous fragrances I’ve ever smelled; it smells like a princess. I wish I could afford it.

  • What a beautiful perfume. It smells amazing. I’m not usually into florals, but this one won me over. If I were getting married today, I’d buy it without hesitation for my wedding day. It has the most luminous and elegant citrus opening I’ve ever tried. As it dries down, a super fine woody iris emerges that doesn’t overshadow the orange blossom but adds a sophisticated touch. The dry-down is gorgeous: a barely noticeable musk with a fresh amber, nothing creamy. It’s light in a bottle. I’m in love. I’ll have to save up to get my first floral fragrance that I’ve loved this much.

  • I bought the house’s discovery set and have to admit, I tried 5 perfumes and 3 left me indifferent, even disappointed, because I found nothing special or impressive regarding performance. But with Amyris femme, I was pleasantly surprised; it wasn’t even one of the ones that initially caught my eye. To start, I enjoyed this fragrance for almost 8 hours; I got little bursts of scent every few minutes. The performance of other fragrances from the house disappointed me, but not this one. It’s a very feminine scent, for a mature and sophisticated woman. As soon as I put it on, I felt beautiful, feminine, and delicate all morning: tender, but not childish—a tender, grown-up woman. Perfumes evoke feelings, and that’s exactly how I felt. What stood out most was the floral and iris notes; shortly after, I sensed powdery undertones, but not baby-like powder, rather a feminine, modern powder, not vintage. Said that way, I don’t do it justice; it’s not just another floral, it’s truly special. The performance left me satisfied. Although I expect a luxury perfume to last more than 8 hours, 7 or 8 seems acceptable if it’s not skin-scent but at least a personal trail. I put it on at 7am (6 sprays): the first 2 hours had moderate projection, someone sitting next to me could smell it; my coworker, who is very close, noticed it and asked about it (about an hour and a half later). Then it shifted to a very soft, personal projection, but if someone leaned in too close, they could still smell it. The good thing is that, even though it becomes a personal trail, it’s not a skin scent; I didn’t have to press my nose against my skin to enjoy it (3 sprays on the neck, 1 on the chest, and 2 on the elbows). Throughout the day, those sophisticated, feminine, powdery bursts kept coming. Heads up, don’t let the word “powdery” scare you: it’s not the Chanel No. 5 or vintage kind, it’s a youthful, modern powder. I’m very happy with this sample. Although I loved it, I’m not sure yet if I’d buy the full bottle because a 30ml bottle costs 95 euros; maybe I could find something that evokes the same feeling for the same price but in a larger format, since it’s very versatile for daily wear and 30ml wouldn’t last long. It stays in my mind that I loved it, and if I never find something identical, I might be inspired to buy it. It’s a perfume I do recommend and I believe it’s worth the price: if it changes your mood, makes you feel put-together and beautiful, and it lasts and projects, the money isn’t wasted. Everyone should try it, because scents, tastes, and pH levels differ. You can get the sample set on the official website.

  • Essens has launched the BLANC collection featuring original essences from 7 Maison Francis Kurkjian perfumes, and Amyris femme is one of them—it’s also one of my favorites. The price is incredibly affordable.

This is my new favorite scent; I want to wear it every single day. It’s a well-balanced, elegant fragrance, like a sweet woman with character. It’s warm and feels like it’s hugging you all day long.

  • Corchabat

At first, the opening smells like grandma’s perfume and lemon dish soap, but after half an hour it dries down to a sweet, powdery, elegant, and subtle floral with moderate projection. It lasts about 5 hours on my skin. While I enjoy the dry-down, that awful opening makes it not quite worth it.

  • Corchabat

Let’s be honest, the opening was a letdown: it smelled like grandma’s perfume mixed with dish soap lemon. But after about half an hour, everything changed. It transformed into something sweet, floral, and elegant, with moderate projection lasting around 5 hours on my skin. While I do enjoy the dry-down, that rough opening makes it hard to justify the hype.
