Rosa Nobile smells of roses, bergamot, and pepper without complications, but it’s not boring; it smells great, nothing synthetic, all fine and natural. Pity that the longevity and sillage are so weak for an Eau de Parfum; it seems more like an Eau de Cologne.
This is how a rose perfume should smell. I agree with the previous review: roses, florals, bergamot, and pepper. There are similar ones, but what stands out here is the naturalness, quality, and realism of the rose. When I left it on my arm, it transported me back to my childhood: accompanying my aunt to church to clean crypts, with rose stalls before. It’s that exact scent, a very natural rose, like the heart of the essence, nothing more. Longevity is high for me: 9-10 hours on skin, with moderate-to-low projection for about 5 hours. If you like roses, this is a must-try.
Acqua di Parma Rosa Nobile has my three favorite flowers: roses, peonies, and violets. It has a citrus touch that gives it the perfect freshness for spring. It’s a green rose, unpretentious, smelling very natural, like spring itself. It lifts the mood, super feminine, ideal for the office with a romantic touch for an informal date. 100% spring-like, though I think it works year-round because it’s versatile. I wouldn’t wear it at night; there are other roses better suited for that. The longevity is poor, about four hours; maybe the price is high for what it offers and you need to reapply, so I don’t recommend it for daily wear. Sillage is discreet.
Great perfume! I sprayed it this morning and I can still smell it at 8 PM: a very fresh, well-executed rose with a peony touch. It makes me feel comfortable and clean; you can tell it’s quality. Edit: In the heat, too much rose bothers me; maybe I’m just getting tired of that note.
On my dry skin, this smells more like a classic pink talc—something my grandmothers would have worn (not bad, but that’s what I got). I don’t sense the fresh, natural rose others mention; it’s creamier and lighter. I can’t detect the bergamot or tangerine; the freshness fades quickly. I’ve never tried this before; I bought it blind or nothing.
