I’m going to take a shot at my first Kurky review. I tried it thanks to Cristina’s generosity, a fellow enthusiast, and I’m very grateful because I was planning to buy it blind. She confirmed what everyone else has said negatively: the sillage. It smells nice if it reaches that nostalgic candy point—musky and delicate. It lasts quite a bit, especially on clothes; I put it on at 9 AM and it’s 7 PM now with some bursts, though it’s residual. The first two or three hours are noticeable, after which it fades to skin scent and only comes out when you move. If it cost 60€, maybe I’d consider it; it’s pleasant for spring-summer, but at that price… no sorry, I’d rather invest in another perfume.
To me, this is a very tender fragrance. It does evoke childhood memories, candy, and something fruity that’s more abstract than defined (I didn’t detect much raspberry or peach). It’s a beautiful scent, but I find it very unwearable; I’m not sure what situation it’s for or who would wear it. On top of that, it doesn’t last long. Maybe I’d prefer it as a candle or room spray scent rather than a perfume for a person. All in all, it’s a pretty creation.
Nuripecor: I share their opinion; I have the same feelings. I tried it twice and it’s incredibly rich for me (I love the peach), but the price isn’t worth it, honestly… for me, this is an outright scam. Do they think being niche gives them the right to pull this? These houses are getting on my nerves lately. If they sprayed it on me blindfolded and later said it was from Mercadona, the ‘comotú’ section for 20€ or less, I’d believe them.
Smells like fruit syrup and gummy candies, but with a sophisticated twist that even Chanel doesn’t have. It blends fine elegance with the tenderness of a pacifier’s blackberry scent. It carries that luminous, musky Kurkdjian signature that makes everything so wearable and desirable. There’s an aura of minimalist, subtle, and constant fruity sweetness. ‘Kurky’ brings to mind little Kurkdjian as a child sucking on fruit gummies. It’s an evocative and nostalgic fragrance, incredibly tender in every way. Imagine the laughter of children on a summer afternoon by the pool.
