  • Superior. It’s one of those perfumes that when you smell it, you want to know who’s wearing it and do anything to find out their name. It’s worth the smell.

  • Beautiful, I love it, but it’s more feminine than masculine, that’s the only downside. Good longevity and moderate projection; maybe the bottle would amplify it, but with fall approaching, it will surely shine then. The floral notes are stronger than the woody ones, sweet and strange, somewhere between exotic and irresistible. The outrageous price ($275 USD for 70ml) is an issue. As we’d say in Mexico: ‘Does it hurt your elbow to offer it in 100ml?’ ‘Hurt your elbow’ means someone is stingy or it hurts to spend that much. Update: 9.0/10 if it weren’t for that note making it less masculine. I haven’t fully assimilated the roses yet, but wow, it’s impressive. Longevity: 8 (maybe the bottle boosts it). Sillage: 7. Scent: 9. Versatility: 4 (formal events, very dapper, maybe with a shirt, jeans, and blazer, strictly formal). Price: 5

  • One drop is enough; no need to spray like crazy, and it lasts up to 6 hours. Imagine the power of a single drop—I must have it ❤️

Ugh, what a rose and oud bomb. The chillest rose I’ve ever smelled, replacing other oud-rose-praline scents with a very clean but striking vanilla. If you like a rose that lasts, lasts, lasts, this is it. The quality is undeniable, and the oud keeps pushing the rose and vanilla all the time.

Oud Satin Mood Extrait de parfum has left my head spinning. I’m not a huge fan of oud, but here the floral and vanilla combination makes it sweet and floral without being cloying, very striking. I’ve seen that the EDP version says ‘another oud-floral combination,’ but I haven’t seen anything like this; if there is, let me know. Unisex, but I think it leans more masculine. 4 sprays are more than enough. Longevity: 10. Sillage: 8. Scent: 10. Versatility: 5 (I see it as complicated for daily wear, better for gala or semi-formal outings). Price: 7 (it’s expensive, but in my opinion, it’s worth it)

The EDP claims to be ‘another floral oud combination’; I haven’t seen anything like it; let me know if you have. Unisex but leaning masculine. Four sprays are more than enough. • It’s my mother-in-law’s favorite, and my wife adores it. To me, it seems potent and well-crafted, but the florals and sweetness aren’t for me.

  • This is the only perfume I’d pay the outrageous price for. Since I smelled a decant, I’ve been obsessed with its scent. Master FK has another divine creation.

  • If you’ve ever considered spending money on a perfume you’ll never forget, Oud Satin Mood is the answer. Exquisite aroma, top-notch quality, perfect for autumn and winter. Lasts over 10 hours with a massive trail. Unique and distinctive. Has nothing negative and is worth every euro. A golden piece of art in perfume form that you shouldn’t hesitate to own.

  • Spectacular longevity, oud with violets and roses, vanilla, and amber. Potent masterpiece. Great value for performance: 4.70 euros per ml. The 70ml bottle is 335 euros on the Maison website; they offer two 2ml testers to choose from and a small gift if you spend over 300 euros, where you can pick Bacarat Rouge 540 EDP. Elegant packaging with a card if it’s a gift. Buy only from the official Maison site or during a good sale. Not a blind buy; it’s so intense that not everyone will like it, but it earns plenty of compliments. Perfumer: Maison Francis Kurkdjian, one of the best in history. Opens with powerful rose and violet, then oud, drying down to vanilla or amber. Better than the EDP and more potent. Lasts over 12 hours on skin with massive projection at 1-2 meters. Perfect for special occasions where you want to stand out. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 10/10, Projection: 9.5/10, Compliments: 8.5/10, Versatility: 5/10, Quality: 9/10. A good purchase if you have money and already own fragrances. This review is from a 5ml decant; I’ll get the full bottle soon.

  • They sold it to me as a blind buy. The Oud Satin Mood EDP was pitched as a panacea, but it’s excessively floral. Upon trying the extrait, though it’s quirky, it’s distinctly feminine. On my skin, it smells like incense and nag champa. My mother absolutely loves it; I gifted it to her.

  • Spectacular longevity fragrance, an oud combined with violet, roses, and vanilla, very powerful, a masterpiece. Good value for performance and projection; you get 4.70 euros per ml. Total 335 euros for the 70ml bottle; if you buy on the Maison website, they give you two 2ml testers of your choice, which is appreciated. Since it’s over 300 euros, they give a small gift; you can choose the Bacarat Rouge 540 EDP. Very nice presentation, elegant box, you can add a card if it’s a gift. You have to buy it on the Maison website unless you find a good deal. It’s not a blind buy; not everyone will like it because it’s so intense, but it earns good compliments. The perfumer is Maison Francis Kurkdjian, one of the best in history. At the start, powerful rose and violet notes, then the oud, and upon drying, the vanilla or amber. Definitely better than the Eau de Parfum, more potent. It lasts me over 12 hours on skin, projects a lot, noticeable at 1 or 2 meters. I’d use it for special occasions to stand out. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 10/10, Projection: 9.5/10, Compliments: 8.5/10, Versatility: 5/10, Quality: 9/10. In conclusion, a good buy if you have money and already own other fragrances. I’m writing this review from a 5ml decant; I’ll get the full bottle soon.

  • What an incredible scent, yes, of scent. It has two major drawbacks. Scent: a bomb of violet and spices at the start. Dense flowers; I can even feel the stem. The floral charge is emphasized, but there’s also something green. The floral content adds no lightness or freshness, nothing. Here, the flowers are creamy and intense. I sense something earthy. From the start, the base joins the floral notes, its signature: a vanilla-oud without any dirty or overly sweet parts, more resinous and powdery. The rose with its stem conducts the orchestra. Honestly, MFK has surprised me, since I usually try their lighter stuff. Maybe I don’t know the house as well as I thought. Ignorant me. The scent is exquisite and rounded. Versatility and performance: it went overboard. I see it as very versatile, filling rooms, offices, and stadiums. Too much presence; you’ll be felt 40 km away. If you put it on before getting in the car, the passengers might faint. And I’m not in this mood anymore… another con: it smells a bit like an older lady with mink who lives off rents in Castilla and has an exclusive wine cellar. Of course, the scent is good, different, long-lasting, and worth it… but I’m not María Cristina, born in ’49 with servants; I’m Víctor, a hard worker born in ’83.

  • What an incredible aroma. Two major drawbacks: a violet and spice bomb at the start, dense flowers so thick you can almost feel the stem, no freshness, just rich and intense. A vanilla-oud base that’s resinous and powdery but clean and not sweet. The stemmy rose leads the orchestra. MFK surprised me since I usually gravitate toward lighter scents. Exquisite and round aroma. Performance: off the charts. Fills rooms and offices; low versatility. You’ll be noticed from 40 km away. Warning: if you wear it before getting in the car, passengers might faint. Another con: it smells like an older lady with mink coats and estates in Castilla. The scent is good and worth the price, but I’m not María Cristina, born in ’49 with servants; I’m Víctor, a hardworking guy born in ’83.

  • Brutal fragrance. Scandalous violets with rose lasting 10 to 14 hours. Huge, seductive, and dark trail. Amber and woods balance everything perfectly. A work of art.
