A curious fragrance by Simon Tissot Dupont: starts with a luxurious sweet and fruity citrus combo that explodes in 10 minutes, then mutates into spice. In the heart, you get a soft sage with mint. The dry down shines with ambergris, woods, and a sweet touch. Performance is refined throughout; after the initial burst, it’s apolite, unsurprising, with a masculine and gentlemanly vibe. Projection is moderate to low, ideal for dinners or lunches since it’s not intrusive. Two sprays are enough for personal wear, noticeable by skin contact up to 50 cm. It lasts 5 hours, and if you want more punch, you can over-apply without issues. I’d define it as soft: citrusy at first, fresh, mostly amber, spiced (fruity, sweet, and woody). Reminds me of James Bond 007.

It turns me off for two simple reasons: longevity and sillage. The scent isn’t badly crafted; in fact, I found it original, though very synthetic. Unfortunately, it lasts only 2 hours on the skin even when applied generously, and if you put it on your wrist and then wash your hands, it disappears completely. They forgot the fixer.
