Descripción
Pi Neo by Givenchy is a woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2008, this composition was created by Françoise Demachy and Antoine Lie. The top notes unfold with mandarin, bergamot, anise, and toscanol; the heart reveals cedar, myrtle, and safrole; while the base notes close the structure with patchouli, vanillin, and cosmon.

I’m testing it today and, while it’s pleasant, it’s average and nothing new. It’s a woody fragrance, mostly cedar; there’s a touch of bergamot at first, but then the cedar takes over. In the dry down, there’s a hint of sweetness and florals, but on my skin the patchouli doesn’t develop and it’s very soft. The sillage is poor. It’s a modern, generic men’s essence.
I tried it today, and while it’s not unpleasant, it feels very average and unsurprising. It’s a woody classic dominated by cedar; it starts with bergamot, but the cedar quickly takes over. I detect a sweet floral note in the dry down, but on my skin the patchouli is barely noticeable, very soft. The trail is weak. It’s a masculine, modern, generic essence.
Very rich, soft, and with a strong Mediterranean vibe, like all the brand’s scents, very good.
Good perfume, nothing special. Common scent for older men but fresh with a spicy marine touch.
Greetings. I tested this against Pi on the same day and ended up keeping this one, even though it’s easier to identify due to its classic notes. The balance is good, but it suffers from poor longevity and sillage compared to Pi, which is also sweet (something I usually don’t look for). On my left arm, Pi lasted all night, while Neo faded quickly. If you’re looking for something soft, woody-citrus, and pleasant for a short time, it’s a good option; if you want something sweet and faithful, choose Pi.
Too soft, lasts an hour. No big deal.
It’s very similar, if not identical, to Minotauro.
It starts with typical citrus but quickly reveals the synthetic side, which is its essence and lingers until the end. I don’t remember the composition well, but Fragrantica is off; it did contain toscanol. The real formula is bergamot, tangerine, cedar, patchouli, vanilla, and three synthetics: toscanol, safraleine, and cosmone, which promise strength and musk but aren’t noticeable. It’s discretely fresh, with alicores and sweetness. I liked it at first, but after 15 minutes, it got cloying. The dry-down is even sweeter and tiring. It’s not ugly; it’s discretely rich but tends toward being cloying. Scent: 6/10, Projection: 4/10, Longevity: 4/10, Versatility: 6/10.
Pleasant and charismatic. It would be great if there was an Intense version to make it stronger and more present, because honestly, it fades too fast. The bottle and box are spectacular.
I bought it because it sounded great at first, but I got disillusioned with use. It lasts very little, has no projection, and has that synthetic vibe that becomes annoying once the top notes fade (at least for my nose). It’s a politically correct and harmless fragrance, but nothing memorable.
I bought it because of the hype at launch. Using it, I got disappointed: it doesn’t last, has no projection, and has that synthetic vibe that becomes annoying once it dissipates. It’s politically correct and harmless, but nothing memorable.
Weak, soulless. And that’s all there is to it.
Weak, soulless. And that’s it.
Personally, every time I wear it, people ask what I’m wearing. It works well on my skin, though I don’t use it daily, only for weekends or casual outings. I love that fresh scent with a slight sweet, menthol, and vanilla touch.
People always ask me what I’m wearing; it smells great. It performs well on my skin, but I don’t use it daily—more for weekends or casual outings. I love that fresh vibe with a sweet-menthol and vanilla touch.
On my skin, it smells like baby wipes, talcum powder, or baby oil, haha. It’s a very innocent scent and I think it works well for unisex.
I’ve been trying to find it again for a long time and got lucky with a tester. I added it to my collection because it was my youth fragrance. I agree it doesn’t last or project well, but the scent is rich, like a fresh baby wipe.
I was looking to rediscover this fragrance and got lucky finding a tester; I bought it for my collection because it was the first scent of my youth. I agree it doesn’t last or project, but it’s a rich scent, like a fresh baby wipe.
Seeing the reviews, I noticed it was reformulated. I bought it in 2012 and it was extremely potent in longevity and sillage; I had to sell it after 10 years because I couldn’t use it more than a quarter of a bottle. Just two sprays were enough.
Seeing the notes, I realize they reformulated it. I bought it in 2012; it was a beast in terms of longevity and projection. I had to sell it after 10 years because it barely lasted a quarter of the time; with two sprays, it was gone.
It’s a 10. I used it for years and it exceeded my expectations thanks to the recommendation.
