  What a pleasant surprise with Dupont; I bought three but started by reviewing this one. I dabbed my wrist and at first it smells fruity and fresh, probably tangerine and grapefruit, with an unlisted ozonic touch. Then a fresh green note comes out, likely bamboo, keeping that fruit-and-bamboo interplay to add fresh woods without being annoying. In short, it smells fresh like a breeze with fruity and green touches. Recommended blindly; it’s one of those ‘freshies’ that please without bothering, instead earning compliments. Point for Dupont! I invite you to try their fragrances.

  Rich scent. Reminds me of Phos by Béjar without that minty note, less sweet. Also recalls Bvlgari Aqua without the strong marine side, more wearable, and sometimes the old Clinique Happy. They aren’t the same, but you can spot the similarities. It has a citrus base but softened by iris and bamboo, which I can’t smell separately, so don’t expect pure iris. It’s fresh, daily wear, easy to like, pleasant, and doesn’t smell generic. Worth it for under €25. Sillage and projection are normal; it lasts well but shines more between 20 and 30 degrees. If you like the ones I mentioned, it’s a cheap, well-made alternative. A surprise! Bye.

  I followed the reviews to buy this Esence Pure by Dupont and it disappointed me; besides smelling nice, especially in the heat, it fades in intensity and longevity way too fast.

  Smells good, but the sillage fades quickly and it’s not noticeable from a distance.
