  • This is a strange 4711 fragrance; if it weren’t for the bottle, I’d never think it’s from that brand. Undoubtedly the most masculine I’ve smelled in the series, and it reminds me of nothing. The opening has a very well-executed kumquat, soon evolving into what I assume is myrrh (I’m not the Magi, I haven’t smelled it directly), resinous and spicy, but not heavy. It has excellent longevity, and I only see it for cold weather.

  • I’m so used to unisex and masculine fragrances that I can’t find anything masculine here. It’s a high-quality cologne, as 4711 has us accustomed to. It has the DNA of the original but in a sweet version. The kumquat opening is executed perfectly. Upon drying, I don’t detect myrrh, but rather a sweetness and warmth with the classic 4711 base. The trail is moderate and lasts about 7-8 hours on my skin. Scent 7.5/10, longevity 7.5/10, trail 6.5/10, value 8/10, versatility 6/10, packaging 6.5/10. Maybe I’d buy it again.

  • The first time I tried it, I didn’t like it because I instantly associated it with Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria Teazurra. But I must admit it was a prejudice. It’s very interesting… it smells like a Persian prince… it doesn’t convince me, but my husband might like it.

  • Boy.Capel

It sounds a lot like Givenchy’s L’Ange Noir, even though I haven’t declared it; I notice a very intense iris note. Let’s see how it evolves.

  • I tried it again after years, and now it reminds me of Annick Goutal’s Duel. Softer, without the leather, but with that same green-fresh vibe and a tiny sour bite at first. Then it mellows out, becoming warmer and sweeter. Like Duel, it works well for men or women. It’s chosen for the scent, not to make an impression; it’s pleasant and relaxing, like wild herbs with soft flowers, always clean and crisp. It doesn’t bother anyone; quite the opposite, everyone will enjoy it. 4711 continues to impress with that ‘effortless’ naturalness.

  • Wow, what an amazing fragrance! I’ve tried all of the brand’s scents, and this is one of the best. It dries down sweet and fresh, starting with a super-sweet lime note. The performance is brutal, leaving a fantastic trail. It reminds me a bit of Lattafa’s Raed Silver, but softer and without that oud. Buy without regrets, 1000% recommended.
