Interesting aroma reminiscent of Valentino Uomo. It has few declared notes: amber, musk, and white pepper (the latter only in the opening, adding warmth and sensuality), but all are there, creating a broader impression. It’s a solid overall job, though it fades in intensity after a few hours, which is common nowadays. The good news is they sell 10 ml miniatures for about 10 euros (the full size hovers around 35), so if you make a mistake, your wallet won’t cry. It’s pleasant, a great low-cost option for the quality. In stores, it was marketed as masculine, but here it’s unisex.

Smells like Valentino Uomo but fresher and more original. The bergamot, iris, and amber notes fit perfectly; in fact, Rituals’ website confirms the presence of ionone, key for that iris effect. It’s a linear, dry, woody fragrance with a spicy twist. Sillage and projection last strong for the first two hours, staying on the skin for 8 hours without fail, and you can still detect it at 24 hours. In stores, it costs around 70 euros for 100 ml, and its only downside is that online deals are rare, but the price matches Valentino or Dior. Why recommend it? Fewer ingredients, high quality, and no those dangerous chemicals found in the originals (according to INCI). Add excellent longevity to that, and it’s ideal for iris lovers or Valentino fans. Bye!

Smells like Valentino but less sweet and with a fresher vibe. The price seems fair, and longevity is decent. It just needs a bit more projection to be a perfect purchase, but as it is, it’s very good.

To me, the iris note dominates, even though they claim it’s not in the formula. I adore it because it’s my favorite note.

  • Smells very similar to Valentino, just a bit less sweet. The price seemed great to me. Longevity is decent, though a bit more sillage would have made it a perfect purchase.

  • It’s strange to hear people say it smells like Valentino Uomo; for me, it’s the opposite. The Rituals version came out first, and when I smelled the Uomo, I thought it was just that with minor tweaks. I absolutely love this fragrance—I just bought the latest batch with the new, flatter bottle. We’ll see how the reformulations evolve.

  • Delivers a powerful scent with bergamot, lavender, and a hint of pepper; dries down quickly to an aromatic leather, perhaps with nutty notes. Very masculine, elegant, and classic, with a vintage yet modern vibe. Longevity and sillage are solid and do the job.

  • Kills it: bergamot, lavender, and a hint of pepper that dries down quickly into an aromatic leather with a nutty twist. Smells super masculine, elegant, and classic—vintage yet modern. The longevity and sillage are spot on.
