Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
At first sniff, I thought it was Gris Charnel. The comparison comes up every time I test it because they share notes. Unlike the BDK version, here black tea and cardamomo dominate, and the drydown is sweeter due to the cider. If you like one, you’ll definitely like the other.
Delicious. It’s like a citrusy, fresh take on Gris Charnel—they don’t look alike, but it gives a very close idea of the scent. 9/10.
Worn on skin, it smells a lot like Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, even though theoretically they don’t share notes. I’m surprised that soapy touch comes from the declared ingredients. I’ll have to go back to El Corte Inglés to test it again; maybe I was wrong, but I wore it on skin because I didn’t have a blotting sheet for this one and did the others on blotting paper.
A delight. Opens citrusy with a soapy touch. Once it settles, the cardamomo and black tea release a wonderful aroma. I’d wear it to a daytime formal event because the drydown is woody, yet it doesn’t lose its freshness and the spicy cardamomo note.
