I love it so much. It’s incredibly seductive with that sweet, harness-like leather, perfectly smoky and dusty at first. It’s creamy, vibrant, and totally unisex—ideal for cool weather. It has that intimate vibe of a personal cloud with a trail on the same wavelength, and it lasts forever on clothes. Versatile, and with this, I feel divine.

I see this as an elegant feminine scent, like a formal midnight party in the 50s. I imagine New Year’s Eve, everyone dressed up and happy, a Hollywood actress like Marilyn Monroe in Chambre Noir leaving men speechless. I love it because it transports you; you could almost write a novel just by smelling it. That dusty note doesn’t quite work for me, but the plum and incense save it. Violet, jasmine, and vanilla blend perfectly, and the plum adds a natural sweetness, like smelling a naked flower and feeling its honey deep inside. I’ve never liked sandalwood, and it’s a shame it’s so prominent, but with everything else, you can’t help but like it. Papyrus gives it a magical touch; I’d never tried that note before and I like it. Scent: 10/10, Sillage: 9/10, Longevity: 9/10.

As mentioned before, it’s a fruity leather, but not because of the plum itself, but due to a general fruity sensation. It starts with that fruity vibe, though the plum is more noticeable, with a very low touch of incense and some sandalwood. Upon application, the trail was low and stayed that way for about half an hour, then it clung to the skin for another 3 hours before disappearing. It was entirely linear, period. Although it was generous in application. The scent isn’t avant-garde or innovative, but it’s not a bad fragrance. However, with those low performance levels and the price, there are better leather options. If you’re looking for leather, look elsewhere, but if you’re set on it, try it before buying to avoid disappointment. By the way, there’s a sample giveaway for this house on the forum.

Chambre Noir is a nice modern fruity leather, sweet but restrained, very wearable and versatile. I’ve tried many fruity leathers; most work well on skin, like Knize’s raspberry from the early 20th century or Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather. This one does it great with the plum. The pyramid starts with pink pepper, adding warmth and sensuality to the plum, which joins the soft leather, toasted like suede by the incense. This scent lasts until the dry-down without being heavy. Then the woods and dry papyrus cling to the skin, and the vanilla with the balms add the sweet touch, adding more sensuality. Undoubtedly, it’s made to be enjoyed in a dark, warm room with a city view, and for short distances. Unfortunately, it projects little, but it’s a good blend and a very sexy leather. Rating: 7.5.

I received it today and liked it right away. The opening is sweet, mostly smelling of plums. After 5 minutes, you can already notice the leather and papyrus mixed with the sweetness of the plum. The first hour might give a school pencil sensation, hehe, but then it disappears. It doesn’t project much, but leaves a trail where you pass, and sometimes there are bursts of the scent. I like the fragrance, but I wouldn’t pay the store price; it’s very high, and I got it at a much more affordable price.
