It’s my signature scent. To me, it’s masculine; it smells like a freshly showered and perfumed man. Ideal for daily wear, without flashiness or fuss. It’s the one people ask about most after catching the scent. 9.5 out of 10.
There’s not much to say: it smells like the shavings or wood dust left after sharpening a pencil, from start to finish. The scent itself isn’t bad, but the projection and longevity are a disaster. Upon application, it faded to the skin immediately; I barely noticed that wood aroma, which was almost nonexistent, and it lasted less than an hour. It’s a commercial scam, an insult to consumers. I don’t understand how these exist, especially in ‘niche’ houses—they should be ashamed. If you thought Gucci Pour Homme had weak projection, you’re wrong: this beats it by far. For this Autoportrait, there’s no definition for how bad it is. Warning: don’t buy it blindly; you’ll be disappointed. The price-to-quality ratio is terrible.
It’s… how do I say? Sweet, talcum-like, soft, harmonious. It’s like a lovely bedtime story, a super intimate fragrance. That’s why I don’t mind the sillage, even if it’s demanding. The incense gives it a magical, soft air; later it smells like pure incense, like a library, peace, and silence. In my opinion, it’s more feminine. The blend of elemi and lemon gives just the right sweetness, while the oakmoss adds freshness so it doesn’t feel heavy. I love it; it’s rich. Ideal for rainy days or walks in the woods.
Its rhythm is soft and enveloping, with that intimate vibe. It doesn’t flood the room but creates its own personal, cozy cloud. Perfect for any season. It starts fresh, green, and citrusy, then shifts to something resinous, creamy, and woody—very unisex. It has a green, earthy note that suits it perfectly. It’s not sweet, but the dry down offers a honeyed breath, likely thanks to the vetiver. It feels linear but fits that idea of personal harmony.
The opening hooked me instantly—super sparkly and fresh. The downside is that it fades down to the skin pretty quickly; I only catch it with a movement of my arm or a breeze. Still, it deserves a second chance because it smells great. To me, it’s aromatic, fresh, spicy with a woody touch.
