The scent was too intense and unpleasant for me; I think there’s too much sandalwood. I don’t get why it’s called Tuberose if it doesn’t smell like tuberose at all.

I’ve had a 100ml bottle since 2018 (well-stored perfumes last), and I’d already gone through another one I used daily in less than a year. It seems they reformulated it for the worse; reading reviews, it feels like a different perfume altogether. Mine smells like sweet white flowers with a woody, vanilla base. It lasts well on clothes the next day, but on skin, it doesn’t reach high-end longevity—maybe 3 hours max. What a shame about the reformulation 🙁

I have a bottle with batch code 10700 bought at the boutique mid-2021 (before Zara’s refills); the box listed cassia, vanilla, and tuberose, but the notes here are different—I guess it’s another formula. On my skin, it lasts longer than they claim, maybe this is the new version? I saw a TikTok comparing it to J’adore, but I can’t verify that. I detect citrus with a woody vanilla base, very fresh, probably due to the cassia. Zara added ‘Narcotic Spice Garden…’ in January 2022. I’m not sure about the notes, but I notice a bit of sandalwood. It’s rich and wearable; I use it in the morning to get things done at home before getting ready, just to enjoy it. Maybe for daily office wear, I’d keep it in my bag to reapply—it’s very pretty.

The scent opens with fresh flowers, like just-cut blooms, super fresh, accompanied by vanilla and a sweetness that seems like floral nectar. As the name suggests, I thought it would have tuberose, but it has none, which disappointed me (they’re my favorite notes). Overall, it’s super delicious, fresh, girly, and classy, but longevity is the issue. Hello and goodbye! I keep it because the bottle is beautiful and cute for decoration, but on skin, it’s gone in under 15 minutes. A disappointment in that regard.

It’s a very pleasant and fresh aroma, almost ideal for elegant waking up. On my skin, it has one major flaw: it lasts zero. I give it 30 seconds and think that’s too much. It evaporates super fast, like water. Only after half an hour do I notice a very faint, soft vanilla scent. Just in case it helps, I use it for sleeping because it’s useless for anything else.
