I bought it yesterday at Zara along with the regular Seoul in a pack for 13 euros. Good buy, even though the scent lasts a breath. It’s very summery: apple, tangerine, marine notes, and a bit of neroli… but I think it doesn’t last even 2 hours, which doesn’t matter given the price. Reapply and you’re golden. It’s 95% similar to its sibling Seoul, but slightly more potent.
It’s like an Invictus Aqua. On skin, it lasts 2-3 hours, but on clothes it lasts all day. It always feels close. Smells good and is perfect for hot days. The sillage and projection are very good for the first hour, then drop off noticeably. Bought in a pack, it’s a cheap and good option to have these scents in the collection.
I’m a fan of the Invictus saga; my favorites are Legend and Platinum. I tried the regular Seoul at Zara and didn’t like it much; very alcoholic at first. Then I tried this Summer. It’s a soft Invictus, very artificial but pleasant after 5 minutes. To me, the longevity is non-existent, though they claim it reaches 8 hours if you smell it very close to the skin. It’s the typical cologne associated with body odor; it works as a skin scent. It costs €10.95 for 100ml, not bad, but the performance could be better. The Vibrant Leather, which I hate for its longevity, offers me much more staying power.
Seoul Summer: Starts fresh and fruity with green apple. Then, that freshness turns aromatic with the neroli flower. As it dries down, the apple and neroli are wrapped in cedar, helping with longevity. Projects for 2-3 hours and lasts about 6. It’s a happier summer flanker than the original. Designed for hot days (beach, walks); it falls flat if it’s not warm. Sweet and fruity, it delivers plenty for the price. Perfect for daily summer wear.
If you live in the heat and are on a tight budget, this perfume is a win. The longevity and projection are moderate; it’s not amazing for the price, but it’s excellent. Smells great for casual outings, college, or work. Lasts about 6 hours, projects for 1.5 hours, and has a soft sillage. I use it for going to the bank or shopping without interacting with acquaintances; nothing to impress with. Rating: 8/10.
