I’m wearing it with pride today. West Side is unisex, but in my opinion, it leans more feminine. The opening is very boozy, like vodka and red wine (though I don’t see that note listed, I swear there’s liquor in it). After two minutes, the roses emerge—a natural, palpable scent, like a bouquet left open in the sun. As it evolves, it becomes sweet, vanilla-infused, and sensual, thanks to the ylang-ylang, vanilla, and amber. The roses are so potent that I don’t notice the peony at first, but after half an hour, the musk and sandalwood appear. It all transforms into an impressive seduction. It’s delicious; you can feel the quality in the ingredients. Even though the opening is intense, it’s worth waiting for to appreciate its beauty. A sensual, warm, elegant, and unique fragrance. Fixation and projection are fantastic. Rating: 10/10.

7/17/18: Tried this fragrance today and absolutely loved it. The opening is boozy and lovely, smelling like red fruit jam or wine without any harsh alcohol notes—very delicate. It’s a pity that note doesn’t last long. Then I catch a hint of play-doh, not too artificial; I think it’s peony. It’s a creamy, unique accord, both sweet and salty at the same time. Warm and floral, it sits beautifully on the skin. It’s not loud or aggressive; it smells like quality essences. Up close it’s creamy (peony, sandalwood, vanilla), and from a distance it’s fresher but always comforting. Not something I’d wear every day. It’s cold here and I don’t notice it as much; I’m sure it would suit warmer months better.

7/17/18: Today I tried this fragrance and I loved it. The opening is boozy and lovely, smelling of wine or red fruit jam without any alcohol note, very delicate. Pity that note doesn’t last. Then I notice a touch of playdough, not too artificial, I think it’s peony. It’s a creamy and unique accord, sweet and salty at the same time. Warm and floral, it’s very well settled. It’s not loud or harsh, it smells like quality essences. Up close it’s creamy (peony, sandalwood, vanilla), from afar fresher but always comforting. It’s not for everyday wear. It’s cold here and I don’t notice it as much, it would probably suit warmer months better.

The opening reminds me of a homemade plum wine from the Guadalupe Valley, intense and bittersweet. As the intensity fades, it smells like a rose and vanilla infusion. The roses aren’t fresh; they seem like a cut flower drying in a vase. It’s a sugary, mature scent. I like it, but for the price, I don’t think it’s worth buying.

I wear it and get tons of compliments. The aroma is excellent, sweet but not cloying, reminiscent of vanilla and wine. The downside is that it doesn’t last long for a perfume this expensive.
