I have to say, discovering this new brand was a total win, especially with Viaggio, which alongside Halong Heaven has become one of my favorites. Viaggio is different without being risky; its scent offers a softness and freshness that instantly hooks you. Plus, the real advantage is its longevity. The balance between the notes is admirable—you can perceive most of them, yet they blend into a delicious harmony that leaves no one indifferent.
Viaggio is a very pleasant fragrance. Although the label says ‘for women,’ I see it as perfectly unisex. Yes, it has something very sweet at the base that leans it slightly feminine, but in other brands, especially niche, there are perfumes even more feminine labeled as unisex following traditional gender views. The scent is very agreeable. I have an issue because it reminds me a lot of a well-known designer perfume (yes, one for girls), but I don’t know which one. It brings to mind La Vie Est Belle or Dior Addict, but I’m not sure. Anyway, I’ll try to explain: I think the base is a blend of orange blossom and vanilla with a good amount of red fruits. The dry down is creamy and a bit green, perhaps that’s why it sometimes reminds me of some Baccarat Rouge versions like Burberry’s due to its intensity. It’s not equal to the original BR540, but rather to those sweeter, less complex versions. It also reminds me a bit of Kilian’s Love, Don’t Be Shy, but with a fruity air I don’t find in the French perfume. I think it’s a perfume I wouldn’t buy but that I enjoy a lot. It’s probably the one in the entire collection that best follows current trends and the most modern from Almah, since most are very classic. The quality is good, although it’s simple and too similar to others. It’s a very good option for cold climates. I find it very sexy, so it could be ideal for going out at night and becoming the king or queen of the night. One more tip: if you’re a man, try it before buying because you need to feel comfortable wearing very sweet perfumes to pull this off with ease. While they don’t share the same notes, it smells like La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme and other similar sweet scents. It’s very pleasant, but when tested side by side, it’s the more shy and well-behaved sibling: it lacks the monstrous projection and longevity of LVEB on my skin, so I won’t add it to my wishlist. However, if you’re looking for something easier to wear than the Lancôme version and won’t break the bank, this is a great option.
