  Maiestis left me a bit unsure after four hours; what I say today might change with future tests, since the 2ml vial lasts about four sprays. The opening is top-notch: I expected a fresh, powdery floral, like Vitriol d’Oeillet by Serge Lutens or Confessions of a Garden Gnome by Fortnum & Mason, with soft flowers over a green bed. But as it dries, everything changes dramatically: it becomes almost entirely woody, featuring a soft yet noticeable oud reminiscent of the dry-down of Bois d’Oud by Parfums de Marly, plus a subtle patchouli. Despite the oud, I see it as a daytime scent—fresh and delicate. It’s elegant but not overly intrusive. Longevity is good (more than three hours without shifting), though projection is quite moderate, making it super versatile and wearable. I think it’s totally unisex and a great option for anyone wanting to try oud without the fecal or overly strong notes.
