Descripción

Itinerantur by Almah Parfums 1948 is a men's fragrance from the woody aromatic family. Launched in 2019, this composition was created by perfumer Jordi Magrans. The top notes feature fresh bergamot and spicy cardamom; the heart reveals warm woods with Atlas cedar, cedar, ebony, and sandalwood; while the base settles into the depth and resinous character of myrrh, copal, and Siam benzoin.

I simply love it! Probably my favorite from the Almah collection. It’s woody, citrusy, and creamy. The opening is intense, very citrusy and spicy, projecting quite strongly. Then it becomes more woody, with a marked cedar note over a balsamic and ambered background, though very little sweet. I feel the spicy character throughout the duration. Although it seems masculine, I can imagine women wearing it. For those who like woody and spicy perfumes, it’s a good option thanks to the amber base that makes it easy to wear, versatile, and perfect for everyday use. I’d wear it at any time and season. I haven’t tried all the brand’s fragrances yet, but so far, this is the best for me! Scent: 9.5, Longevity: 9, Sillage: 6, Value for Money: 6, Versatility: 9, Originality: 8, Overall: 9

Panoramix’s potion stored in a cabinet. Another great proposal from Almah. The opening is overwhelming, and perhaps the blend of notes surpasses the sensory capacity to enjoy without being challenged. The sensation is like being in a dark, humid forest, suddenly entering an old wooden cabin of a druid brewing a potion with herbs and a touch of the Orient with myrrh. When the opening notes settle, wood becomes the absolute protagonist, accompanied by an ambered, slightly green sensation (perhaps vetiver) with that myrrh present. Very rich. It shares similarities with Mr Keops but doesn’t overlap; they’re like second cousins who get along well. It doesn’t have Mr Keops’ performance but more than fulfills its purpose. Great perfume. Cheers, perfumers.

A good woody, cedar, and myrrh fragrance. I’m highlighting it because it evolves over time. I tested it again six months after buying it in the summer and couldn’t remember how enveloping, present, and woody it was. In my opinion, it’s a good purchase for temperate or cold climates.

  • Left me speechless. A true old-school classic, woody with fougère touches that exceeded my expectations. The opening is a pyrotechnic explosion where only high-end cedar and bergamot are noticeable. As the intensity fades, the orchestra balances out, introducing myrrh, sandalwood, and a subterranean spicy base of cardamom. It’s a personal delight to enjoy from start to finish, regardless of compliments. Classic, robust, mature, and characterful for today. Potent at first, but then it leaves you in a dense, pleasant personal bubble. Longevity is low and, in my taste, mediocre. Suitable for any season, perhaps avoiding winter. Ideal for formal or casual wear. Very masculine for men over 30. It feels familiar to Amouage’s Breach Man; they’re different but share a hook, though Breach wins on longevity and projection.
