A blend of blackberry and vetiver over wood, with an elegant jasmine that doesn’t overpower. It evolves from a fruity vetiver to a cleaner one. I finished my 10 ml bottle, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Not even as a joke do I recommend buying it blind; it smells weird and you need to let your nose adapt. It’s an extremely earthy vetiver that dries down well after ten minutes, leaving a faint floral trail. I tested it a lot and no one could handle it 😂😂. You’ll only like it with patience, but don’t buy it based on reputation without trying it first.🕉️
Strangely exquisite overall. An uncommon vetiver with an original smoky vibe. It’s a beast in terms of longevity and projection, easily over 8 hours. It opens fresh and shifts to smoky accords in half an hour; the patchouli and sandalwood give it that touch. Very good, but not a blind buy due to its lack of commercial appeal.
What I enjoy most is its dry-down: it lasted over 8 hours on my skin, and I could still smell it at the eighth hour. It smells fresh, green, and masculine, ideal for hot days and nights.
I was looking for something summery and fresh and stumbled upon this. It’s linear: apple, patchouli, jasmine, and maybe petal notes create a metallic, acidic green with a citrus touch that isn’t listed. I didn’t detect the vetiver. It seems to imitate Guerlain L’Homme L’Eau Boisée, but I remember it’s 99% identical to Ferrari’s Vetiver Essence. It’s a cheap copy. The performance is disappointing: low sillage for half an hour and it disappears by the hour. Many complain about the brand; one said longevity is bad across the board. It smells synthetic and cheap, nothing natural. A failed fragrance that doesn’t deliver on its promise. If you like it, go for the Ferrari: identical, better longevity and projection, and costs $40 versus the $135 of this one, which I’ll never pay for. See you Wednesdays and Sundays with more reviews.
