  • Something curious happened to me here: I didn’t sense any of the listed notes. More than woods, it smells like cinnamon (perhaps due to the sandalwood and pink pepper blend), slightly creamy with a spicy touch. It reminded me of Obsession, but much softer and friendlier. At first, I thought it was unisex, but after an hour, it leaned feminine, sweeter with a floral note, probably vanilla with freesia or orchid. The projection was low at first, then it stayed close to the skin for about three hours before fading. This house has good scents like Book, Moss, and this Bois, but unfortunately, ‘they all limp with the same leg’: low performance and inaccessible prices (100 ml for $135). I wouldn’t recommend it based on price and longevity, though if you try it, there’s no problem. By the way, a sample was my Valentine’s Day gift, and nobody wanted it 🙁

I picked this up at Sephora on my last trip to the US, right when I was out of cash. I did everything possible to bring it home because it seemed spectacular. The trail isn’t very potent, and given the price and packaging, I expected more. However, it’s that unique scent you can’t find anywhere else. If you’re not a fan of sweet scents and are looking for something unisex and fresh, I recommend this option. But considering the price, I don’t think it should be a blind buy.
