What a charming bottle! At first, I detect a strong green note that reminds me a lot of Bonbon Couture due to that oily scent. I noticed more floral notes than fruity ones, and I find it a bit heavy—not very versatile, but definitely elegant. Do I like it? Yes. Can I live without it? Absolutely.

I love So Scandal and this doesn’t remind me of it at all (edit: actually, they do smell quite similar in the trail). Rather, this Flowerbomb reminds me of ‘Juliette has a gun Mmm…’ but less niche, less woody, and more floral. It has that sharp fruity touch that I perceive more as raspberry than peach, although I do recognize the peach later. I imagine it as a blend of Lolita Lempicka and Valentino Donna Born in Roma. I don’t smell peach immediately, but rather a red fruit that later transitions into peach. The trail is lower than the traditional version. If it’s different from the original Flowerbomb or Nectar, it’s much more floral and less powdery, though it still follows the line. It’s silkier, more romantic, but perhaps less daring. I bought it based on the launch date, thinking it would be more ‘current,’ and indeed it is: softer, simplified, lighter, and more informal. The lighter patchouli is a relief, although its presence is still felt. The performance isn’t as good as the traditional version; it’s a sharper opening with acidity that later becomes softer and less intense. Sillage is moderate to low.

I love So Scandal, and this doesn’t resemble it at all (edit: actually, the trail does remind me quite a bit). Instead, this Flowerbomb feels similar to ‘Juliette Has a Gun Mmm…’ but less niche, with less wood and more florals. It also has that sharp fruity edge; I smell it more like raspberry than peach at first, though later I can definitely recognize the peach. I imagine a mix between Lolita Lempicka and Valentino Donna Born in Roma. I don’t detect peach immediately; it starts as a red fruit that evolves into peach. Medium to low sillage.

  • It radiates sensuality and elegance every second; it reminds me of a red satin dress for dinner at a nice restaurant. The opening is sweet and fruity due to the peach, which sets it apart from the original Flowerbomb without losing its essence. The orchid note is super coquettish and elegant; although it doesn’t shine at first, it takes center stage as it dries. As for longevity, I have to admit it’s lacking, lasting a maximum of 4-5 hours before fading, and the sillage is moderate, but it’s so charming that I don’t mind reapplying; spraying it is truly an experience. The bottle is also gorgeous and looks beautiful in my collection.

  • Smells like pure, refined sensuality, like that red satin dress for a special dinner. Opens sweet and fruity with peach, distinguishing itself from the original Flowerbomb without losing its essence. The orchid is super coquettish and elegant; it doesn’t shine at first, but takes the lead as it dries down. The longevity is short, lasting about 4-5 hours before fading, and the sillage is moderate, but it’s so charming I don’t mind reapplying. Spraying it is an experience in itself. Plus, the bottle is gorgeous and looks stunning in my collection.

Major letdown. The perfume is lovely, but its longevity and sillage are minimal. Considering how expensive it is, they should improve that. The scent is sweet, very sweet: a mix of velvety peaches with vanillas and a floral touch. It has the DNA of the original Flowerbomb, but it’s much more pleasant (I don’t like the original). The bottle is absolutely gorgeous. If they fix the longevity, this would be a total bomb.

Major disappointment. The perfume is lovely, but its longevity and sillage are minimal. Considering how expensive this fragrance is, they should improve its staying power. The scent is sweet, very sweet—a blend of velvety peach, vanilla, and a hint of flowers. It has the DNA of the original Flowerbomb, but it’s much more pleasant (the original doesn’t really work for me). The bottle is absolutely gorgeous! If they could boost its longevity, it would be a total bomb!

  • Orchids are my favorite flowers, so I decided to try this. It smells great, but I feel it doesn’t define me; maybe it would smell better on another skin with a different pH. At first, I thought it was pretty basic, but once it settles, the orchid really shines above the vanilla, transforming into a sensual, youthful floral scent that you can barely miss just by looking at the bottle.

I thought it smelled quite basic at first, but once it settles, the orchid stands out much more than the vanilla, and the scent transforms into a sensual, youthful floral that you can barely miss just by seeing the bottle.

  • I was gifted it a couple of months ago, and although I love the classic Flowerbomb, it didn’t grab me at first. But I gave it another shot and—surprise!—I loved it after a few hours. It smells delicious, sexy, elegant, and feminine. I wear it on days when it’s not too hot and it works great for me, plus it’s perfect for going out at night.

  • I love this perfume; I barely read the notes but wanted to try it after seeing the packaging, and after testing a decant, I bought it because I absolutely adored it. It’s feminine, soft, and sweet. Opens fruity and sweet (I assume due to the peach, though there might be an undisclosed red fruit), and as it dries, the orchid becomes the star alongside the vanilla that sweetens it, though for me, it’s not as gourmand as Fragrantica claims. It feels ‘current’ and youthful, unlike the original Flowerbomb, which with its prominent patchouli feels ‘not modern’ to me. Very versatile, it’s the spring and youthful version of the original. If you don’t like the EDP, try this one (the original doesn’t work for me, but this one is a hit). Its performance is quite inferior: soft sillage and 6 hours of longevity on my skin, followed by a very faint vanilla-musk trail close to the skin for another 3 hours. Above all, the projection should be better for the high price. Honestly, I don’t think it’s totally innovative; it’s just another vanilla orchid floral. If the original isn’t for you, this might be ideal. Despite its flaws, it’s a perfume I love and need in my collection.

  • I fell in love just reading the notes and seeing the packaging, but the decant is what truly won me over. It’s feminine, soft, and sweet; at first, it smells like red fruit (I think it’s peach), then the orchid and vanilla take over, sweetening it without being as gourmand as Fragrantica claims. It feels super current and youthful, unlike the original Flowerbomb, which I see as a bit dated due to its prominent patchouli. This is the springtime, youthful version of the classic. If you don’t like the EDP original, give this a try. The performance is the main drawback: soft sillage lasting about 6 hours, leaving a very faint vanilla-musk trail for another three hours close to the skin. At this price point, the projection should be better. I don’t think it’s a total innovation, it’s just an orchid and vanilla floral more or less, but if the original isn’t for you, this is ideal. Despite its flaws, it’s a perfume I love and need in my collection.

  • I love this perfume. It’s nothing special or out of this world, but it’s super addictive. It starts on my skin with a sweet peach that fades into that addictive vanilla orchid that has made me get several compliments. If you don’t like the patchouli in the original Flowerbomb or Nectar, this is your safe bet. With this scent, you smell sensual, seductive, feminine, and a bit elegant due to the orchid. Honestly, I don’t consider it gourmand, but a subtle sweetness that doesn’t cloy anyone. On my skin, it lasts around 6 or 7 hours (4 with good projection, then I have to seek out the scent). I recommend buying a sample before the perfume.

  • Nothing out of this world. I feel like I’ve already heard this perfume on a lot of people. I wish the peach opening lasted longer, but the orchid and vanilla make it very rich and suitable for any occasion.

  • darlenerock

Sweet orchids… very, very sweet. It’s a sensual vanilla orchid. It’s cute but it didn’t kill me. Sillage and longevity are terrible. Not worth the price.

  • verdepensativo

Creamy floral. It’s more special than the original, but it has very reduced longevity that leaves one wanting more.

  • Perfumadict

I love the fuchsia bottle, but the fragrance seemed a bit too common to me. It smells good: sweet floral, but very daily wear, poor longevity… mmm what a pity.

  • Perla Vencis

Here the main star is the peach, sweetened with lots of orchid and an excess of vanilla. The most beautiful part is the bottle. The scent is too sweet for my nose because, in addition to the declared accords, there’s habanera and even patchouli, which is why several people associate it with L’Envol.

Wow, I can only say wow. These are first impressions: as soon as it arrived, I gave it a couple of hours to settle, but I couldn’t resist using it. Taking the box out, it smelled like a sweet and fruity aroma, very nice. I thought it was my imagination. Since it came out, I got a sample that sadly smelled like nothing special, just something sweet and ordinary, no trace of peach or vanilla, almost like water with sugar. But now with this 150ml bottle, I found a pleasant surprise: a super juicy peach opening with ladles of vanilla and sugar. It reminded me of my adolescence, when we had a peach tree in the yard and cutting a fleshy, juicy fruit was a treat. Although the peach doesn’t last long on my nose, the vanilla evolution stays. It’s not an out-of-this-world scent; it’s sweet, vanilla-infused with hints of that velvety fruit, but it’s beautiful. I would never have spent $257 in-store, so I took advantage of an online deal and got it for $105 with a coupon, spending less than half for a dream-quality bottle. Wow, it’s worth investing. I’m crazy about Flowerbombs; with this, I decided to order the first one to collect the family. I’ll update as time goes on.

  • Opening it feels like a slap of patchouli, which isn’t listed but is very similar, perhaps the grape and peach combined. I was impressed by the powerful opening; then it settles and reminds me of the original but with more vanilla and peach. The orchid feels sweetened by the vanilla and accompanied by the peach. It’s a mix of the original Flowerbomb DNA, sweeter, with a sweet and fruity orchid. It’s sweet and quite potent, not soft. Test before buying, but if you like the original and Nectar, you’ll love this.

Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid truly fell in love with me. From the start, it smells like sweet peach mixed with flowers and vanilla. It has a wide sillage and doesn’t seem as similar to the original; it’s a bomb of sweetness, very feminine and sensual. It lasts between 8 and 10 hours and lasts days on clothes. Another reason to buy it again is that few people know about it (at least where I live). When they ask what I’m wearing, they admit they don’t know it, unlike Carolina Herrera, which everyone recognizes or has dupes for. With this, you wear something different. Even if reviews say it has nothing special, I disagree. Every skin is different, and that’s something to keep in mind.

  • DaviniaTolkien

I already reviewed this, but I wanted to confirm: it’s gorgeous. I let it macerate for months and ufff, what a vanilla with a juicy peach… I only sense those two notes, but with that distinctive Flowerbomb touch: a slight gunpowder note that won’t scare anyone. Now it smells much creamier and tastier. No regrets on the 150ml bottle; it’s a huge ruby gem in my collection. Absolutely beautiful, timeless, perfect for fall, winter, and spring nights. In extreme heat, it would almost be suicide, haha, given how creamy it’s become. Sweet, juicy peach, not gourmand but syrupy with that lovely, wearable vanilla. Repeat, it has all the Flowerbomb DNA. They say they’re pulling it from the market, so grab deals (if you’re in Mexico) or maybe I’ll get a backup, but my mega bottle will be enough. Longevity and sillage: excellent. They compliment me.
